I found a mistake on this episode.
During the last part of the episode Frank's shirt is wet, and then during one of the shots it's suddently dry:

But then on the NEXT shot where they show him, it's wet again:

Still catching up to the newest episodes, and I'm half way through season 10. It had a bit of a rough start but they've gotten back in the groove. This had me lol'ing hard last night.

what's the deal with Old Lady House not being very popular? I thought it was a really unique episode and ended on a really unexpected and funny note
best season 12 episode is easily PTSDee so far
"So you're gay, huh? For pay or for free?"
"Uh, for free, I guess."
"Chump."
That episode was pretty good. It seems like the writing in the show has changed a bit this season. Might have not noticed it before but there always seems to be a clear buildup to a gag
Cricket is fucking crazy.

I think the episode had a lot of buildup for something that ended up feeling disjointed. The rest of the episode didn't have much kick to it.
I thought the Cricket episode was very weak. Probably one of the worst IASIP ever made.
He's more suited as a minor side character that comes on once or twice a season and talks about sucking off dudes on the street and letting people inside him for a sixer.
I mostly just enjoyed the [sp]unexpected parkour bullshit[/sp]
Wow, what a way to end the season
Glenn Howerton(Dennis) may not return for season 13
They're also on an extended hiatus from the show, so don't expect season 13 until late 2018/2019 or possibly 2020.
Tbh, that's probably it for Sunny now. It simply cannot continue without all of the main cast.
And I think DeVito will be way too old to portray Frank properly at the end of the extended hiatus, he's already quite old now, you can notice in the past couple of seasons that he's had to slow down.

It's not the first time. The episode where Dennis and Mac try to hunt Cricket, he shows off his [sp]parkour[/sp] skills.

I doubt this is the end. They have already signed on to make season 13 and 14, they have said numerous times that they want to make at least 15 seasons to break the record for longest running live action sit com.
Yeah, Danny DeVito is getting quite old, he's 71, 72? But I doubt he's getting too to keep going. Danny DeVito has always struck me as the type of actor who will never retire, he doesn't strike me as a man of leisure. Look at people like Clint Eastwood, he's nearing 90 and is still actively making movies, even though he's behind the camera for the most part.
What will happen is that they would write Frank out of the show by having him die. They have already foreshadowed it previously in episodes such as "Who Pooped The Bed" and "Being Frank". In Who Pooped The Bed when they visit the laboratory, the intern is sifting through Frank's feces and notices that there's a huge amount of blood in his stool and that whoever it is should visit the doctor. In Being Frank, we learn that Frank has a malignant brain tumour and that he could die any minute, this has also been confirmed by the people behind IASIP as being true.
I really like that things are changing on the show, I really like Glenn Howerton as Dennis. But it feels as though he's kind of done. We know now that he's not a sociopathic, serial killer rapist. He was simply an extremely emotional and vulnerable person who built up a cold shell around him. His character going off and being a dad makes perfect sense.
And in all honestly, as long as Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney are still around I doubt the show will die. They have built up such a great cast of supporting characters that could easily fill the void left by Glenn(and possibly Danny down the line, if he decides he has had enough) The show would be different, but it don't think it would be for the worse.

Honestly, it wouldn't be surprising if Season 13 time jumped 2-3 years in to the future.

Breaking a record is a stupid reason to keep the show going. This season already showed it's going downhill imo. Better to let it end then force it to keep going when it can't sustain the funny.
What's great about this show is how everybody has best and worst seasons. I thought this season was one of the funniest in years and found the past few to be less funny, with season 11 bring my least favourite maybe. I don't think the show is bad at all, it's still quite funny to me
It's amazing to me how different people's opinions are when it comes to the quality and humor of the series. I loved the season, the finale was amazing to me.
The show is immensely popular, so at this point it'll end when they want it to it seems. But if it keeps the same level as this season I'll be perfectly happy to see just where they take things for the next few seasons to come.
They have done some weird stuff here in the later seasons, but I like that. It's nice to see a show try and experiment the way they do, and I'm sure it helps them stay entertained too.

What? This season has arguably been the best season in years. Imo best season since 7.
Bumping this thread, but did anyone else see the recent finale. Quite emotional for this show. Rob deserves a emmy for that scene alone.
