Well I just finished watching the special, and holy shit a lot's changed due to the events of this episode.
I mean, Rusty and the boys [sp]are moving to New York[/sp], SO many characters are dead, [sp]the Guild of Calamitous Intent[/sp] is effectively rebuilt without [sp]the Sovereign[/sp], so much set up for Season 6.
The special was so awesome, perfect way to start the new season.
[sp]I Was actually worried about Dr. Mrs. The Monarch for a while, and it was kinda funny to see her walk into the Sovereign's house with a fucking minigun. [/sp]
[sp]Also not terribly surprising to learn that Dr. Henry Killinger was/is one of the investors.[/sp]
Also the clip after the epilogue- "Child proof EVERYTHING!", lol.
Do we know any release dates for season 6?
Watched it a few hours ago with my friend and we both loved it! Jokes were great, lots of references to old episodes and the overall colouring/animation looked a lot better than normal
No word yet, but I'm sure we'll hear something soon.
Oh man that special was great. I can't wait for season 6.

watch the credits, [sp] they're moving to new york city to venture-tech industries tower, which is great because the monarchs moved there too, so expect more cityscapes, the ending credits have an intro for next season and you see a big venture-like building in the scene [/sp]
Yeah, I didn't see that bit coming, even though looking back one could make easy connections. If only we knew when Series 6 is coming out, though it's most likely this year.
