unicron is a planet, yo. that's some kind of ship.
Calm your tits. Thats lockdowns ship, jesus, we've seen it since the first trailer.
Ah ok, it just looks a bit like a modern shrunken down unicron. I think it's the hole: [t]http://www.unicron.com/images/2013/AaronThomas_Unicron_bg.jpg[/t]
unicron is only depicted in one way the way he is
Yeah, but the way people have complaining about the changes of the films, I thought it may be one of those things. Although, I don't think they'd bring a planet sized transformer back, it wouldn't make sense.
Hasbro has a ball tight grip on how Unicron is used, last i checked. Except in the Aligned stuff (WfC, FoC, Exodus, Prime) he's exctly the same in everything, theres only one version of him/
Yeah ok.
Yeah ok.
Every time Unicrons appeared he's looked almost exactly the same as he has before.
The Rendering and Compositing in the 2007 Movie still looks good to me. To me ILM is hands down still the best VFX company out there, even compared to Weta digital
an interesting comparison to make on cgi is the differences between iron man/2 and iron man 3 first two had ILM on board 3 did not, and in their place had like 8 different companies working together to put off something that looked identical to ILM's effects basically, ILM is like the godfather of that stuff

I can actually make out car bits on them instead of random, curvy pieces of metal. [editline]31st March 2014[/editline] Also, this might be the first snippet of the score for Transformers 4 by Steve Jablonsky.
Samurai Prime? Oh yeah
Samurai Prime? Oh yeah
No. Knight.
So apparently Galvatron is a resurrected Megatron under the control of Kelsey Grammar's villain human character. Also, I heard the Transformers under the control of humans are referred to as "Avatrons" in the movie. We know Lockdown is an actual decepticon not under the control of humans. I still want to know who the main villain Transformer is in this movie.
spoiler tags would be nice thank you very much
spoiler tags would be nice thank you very much
you can't really spoiler tag galvatron everyone who knows anything about transformers outside the movies knows all that stuff. and if your first experience with transformers was the movies and you didn't take it upon yourself to go back and see all the older/better shit before, then shame on you.
and if your first experience with transformers was the movies and you didn't take it upon yourself to go back and see all the older/better shit before, then shame on you.
my god that horse is so high you must be wearing a space suit
To be fair, i'd be shocked if Galvatron wasnt Megatron. Except for one comic series, its always been that way. But thats coming from a Transformers fan.
To be fair, i'd be shocked if Galvatron wasnt Megatron. Except for one comic series, its always been that way.
ye i've known that since forever but the "controlled by X" part is what's confusing the hell out of me

[editline]5th April 2014[/editline] Hasbro has said the Aligned continuity is separate from everything else. Except for the Aligned continuity, its almost exactly the same each time, the only time he was different was in Energon, where he was black, and then got turned into a star, then popped up in another comic.

I fucking love the new Optimus design. I also like how its together more, instead of like a walknig chandalier of metal and flame-decal'd decapitational death.
I fucking love the new Optimus design. I also like how its together more, instead of like a walknig chandalier of metal and flame-decal'd decapitational death.
I actually preferred the old design. I liked seeing the old car parts on his actual robot mode.
I actually preferred the old design. Its a lot more like G1 was in that respect. [editline]6th April 2014[/editline] A lot of the G1 designs didnt have many obvious vehicle parts, even Optimus, who didnt even have his vehicle mode wheels on him, just his grill, windows, and smokestacks. The cartoon, anyway.

Concept art of all the main bots to appear in the film just got released. "He travels the galaxy, he works for somebody else. And he's here for one person, one alien, and then he's out of here," Bay says. "So he doesn't really want to take sides. The cause and balance of the galaxy is kind of messed up when different species play with different species. And that opens up a whole other gigantic world for Transformers... Lockdown's ship has a lot of meaning that can go into other movies. There's a lot of backstory about that ship that's not laid out here. You're going to see a few things where you're like 'What is that? And what is that?' And you're going to see a couple shots like, 'Wait a minute, who are they?' But we don't answer those questions."
First bolded part: [sp]yeah it's totally leading to unicron[/sp] second bolded part: sounds like your standard transformers film. Bay also has stated yet again that this is the start of a new trilogy of films, of which this one sets the stage for. He's not 100% sure he'll return as director yet but yeah right of course he will.
