still saying this looks so much better visually with the simpler robot designs and no stupid color filters all over the place
I like the new designs better because they cover much of the gears 'n' giggles which means they're much easier to animate which could mean more screentime for the transformers.
God damn Lockdown looks badass.
Also did prime just brutally murder three Decepticons while riding Grimlock on those last 15 or so seconds.
This looks amazing.
Seems like they aren't real decepticons, probably just like an army of grunts used by them or the humans.
We don't know who Opt was fighting when Lockdown was walking across the road, so if that was a test transformer made by the humans, that would probably be the why the humans were going "what is that"
or it could just be for Grimlock.
But, I don't see why bringing in the humans discovering the metal transformers are made of if they aren't going to have their own man-made transformers movie.
might just be me overthinking things though.

It was Galvatron.
The toys are showing up in stores. Was at a Walmart and saw some of the basic transformers sets, the Dinobots were 15 bucks, though, and Scorn looked AWESOME.
So I picked up a COnstruct-Bot Grimlock for 7 bucks. It's awesome. Looks like this;

They also had the Pteranodon and the Triceratops, was looking for the Raptor and Scorn, though.
Just noticed it, this Grimlock has anime eyes.
Picked up Evasion Optimus for myself. G1 truck with Bayformers robot mode is awesome.
i hate to be the one to go against the grain here, but i really don't like the chest section of Optimus' new design. Every other piece looks sick, but i liked the old chest design with the front windshield of the truck representing the breasts a lot more. It was more G1 looking and also made animating him into vehicle mode fairly seamless, easy to do.

To me it looks more like what you'd expect a michael bay decepticon to look like(sans the blue n' red coloring), to be honest. that's actually one reason i'm really looking forward to porting the model from this new Dark Spark game coming out. A re-coloring of the new Optimus design to purple / dark blue / black flame colors would make for a really badass "Shattered Glass" version of Optimus.

I have a feeling this will be the best Transformers film in the series. The spots and trailers are much more focused on the Transformers, and there's just enough human elements to keep it interesting (Mark finding the truck, Stanley Tucci creating their own Transformers, etc). Also if any of you watch Transformers Prime, this movie is taking a lot of inspiration from the Nemesis Prime episode, where MECH creates their own Optimus and controls it themselves.
