Ironhide's death is still the most jarring thing, you would think Sam or the other transformers would be all bummed out about it
you expecting character development from Bay?

if you people know that why are you getting excited for this movie

love how the first thing sam does is shout "BUMBLEBEE" after he sees it
I don't really pay too much attention to Transformers beyond the movies, but Rise of the Dark Spark does look pretty cool. Might have to keep an eye out for it.
it's weird though that it's merging the 2 Cybertron game's (WFC/FoC) universes with the movie universe... they were clearly not ever meant to be the same continuity.
I'm looking forward to getting the models from the game, but other than that, with no deathmatch style multi-player and no more stand alone cybertron franchise, i'm not too thrilled about it.
I'm actually also like it too, I think they work better because sam wanted to stop being involved with the Transformers and start his own life but was dragged back in 2 times, I do somehow feel Optimus will mention sam in this movie though, maybe something like how Cade reminds him of Sam or something along those lines.

Ironhide didn't have any personality at all. He just died, and when it happened I couldn't care less.
No development and after it everythings the same.
I hoped that Optimus would die at the end of Dark of the Moon. Shithead acted like an asshole.
Yeah, Optimus has always had the Batman/Superman complex in the Cartoon, no matter how evil the character was he always tried to stop, not kill.
His killing of Megatron at the end of Dark of the Moon was completely unnecessary.
Megatron wanted to cooperate and gets killed. How awesome would it have been if he and the other Autobots would fight together? That had some potential.
The ending of DOTM was just horrible.
Megatron wanted to cooperate and gets killed.
you seriously trust Megatron's word?
you seriously trust Megatron's word?
Yes, let's all trust the genocidal psychopath to keep his peace. :v:
Tbh, I'm quite digging Galvatron's look, but it seems too good to be used on something as simple as a mass produced TF drone. Methinks good ol' Megs is going to go Hal 9000 and make Stan Tucci and Kelsey Grammer's characters feel REALLY stupid.
@psi, I'm not sure High Moon's done with the Cybertron games. My bet that in a year or two they'll be done with a next-gen 'Cybertron 3' with a possibly a new update with the Unreal Engine. Rise of the Dark Spark is a definite rent with the info that we are given.
Megatron wanted to cooperate
wut
you do know that at all times megatron has two things on his mind
- killing optimus and defeating the autobots for good
- enslaving/destroying humanity
even in transformers armada, to the point where he sacrificed himself to make sure that unicron wouldn't be the one to beat optimus, he still had those two objectives on his mind.
I think I'm going to take some time again to review Prime's in-game look again. It seems that I need glasses, because he seems okay to me since I was able to take a snapshot of the game featurette above. Sure his chest textures seem terrible, but I'm sure that it will be fixed in a patch during release.

Since he's not hunched over in the gameplay videos, his arms do look alright on him and seems to be sized up compared to Bee just fine. The only problem I have is that the guns don't match the character models at the slightest (See Bee's gun arm) and Prime's gun does look a little large on him since in Cybertron that gun is the Earth equivalent of a handgun or a revolver.
Nevertheless, this game still looks like a total rent and the sole purpose of getting Prime's, Lockdown's, Stinger's, and Galvatron's models and possibly some new gun/melee weapon props that we didn't see in the other games. Speaking of Stinger, he's supposdly Day One DLC along with Thundercracker and Skywarp. If these games are anything like Fall of Cybertron, they can still be extracted regardless of buying the DLC codes.
the action looks surprisingly stable for a bay movie
Thank you for posting those Postal, was on my way to Cali so I didn't have time :0

You can see Slog transforming to the right of Grimlock in the same clip.
Another spot has shown up online. This one has Lockdown speak for the first time! It's a total badass voice.
