Holy shit, Lockdown is fucking awesome. [editline]14th June 2014[/editline] Also it's rated PG-13 for intense sequence of sci-fi violence and action, language and brief innuendo. Its rumored that the scene with "innuendo" is when [sp] Cade complains about Tessa's short shorts, a scene that was mentioned at Cinemacon. [/sp]
There's a certain lack of shaky camera, has he finally learned?
plus extremely toned down color filters, less human characters and sleeker, easier to figure out robot designs it's a miracle, but he probably has. we'll see when it comes out
yeah by toned down color filters i mean that not every scene looks like this or this or this [t]http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/8900000/Transformers-Revenge-of-the-Fallen-transformers-8983011-853-511.jpg[/t] [t]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/garinungkadol/screencap/movies3/transformers2-sample03.jpg[/t] [t]http://media.cinemasquid.com/blu-ray/titles/transformers-revenge-of-the-fallen/10456/screenshot-med-08.jpg[/t] [editline]15th June 2014[/editline] i guess he's learned to control his colors better The Rock will always be the only actually good Bay film anyway
The Rock will always be the only actually good Bay film anyway
i know it's wrong, but i went through a phase where i really fucking loved Bad Boys 2. that last trailer definitely does an amazing job making Lockdown look badass. also i had to re-watch that part where green stuff is spewing from Grimlock's mouth to see wtf it was... he's crunching a bot to pieces. so sick!

Looks to me that his fight with Prime will be the stuff of legends. Though is it me, or is Lockdown going to be the "red herring" of the film much like Shockwave was in DOTM? The only time we've heard of Galvatron is that he fights Optimus for a while, gets beaten, and the KSI guys bail him out when Prime gets captured. I get the feeling Galvatron might give us all a surprise when Lockdown has had his moments near the end.

Not sure what you all are talking about, there are still some strong color filters.
yeah sure if this was any other film directed by anyone else but since this is Michael Bay's Transformers, "No Cyan/Yellow" equals "No Color Filters" to me period
pretty sure bumblebee is yellow and in the movie
[sp]QUINTESSONS?![/sp]
I think they should have done what godzilla did with advertising. Just show like 2-3 seconds of one dino bot and that's it. Now from the trailers it pretty much means the autobots [sp] need dinobots to win [/sp]
I think they should have done what godzilla did with advertising.
I haven't seen it, but many reviews I read as well as general sentiment of the internet was that the advertising for Godzilla was extremely deceptive, misleading. why would that be a good idea for any film? it seemed to piss a lot of people off.
"You think you were born? You were built, and they want you back"-Lockdown Is Michael Bay making us think of Lockdown's grand scheme? It certainly feels like there's more to him than just "collecting a bounty". We've got Galvatron missing for the first half, Dinobots, Human-made transformers, Lockdown taking Prime, his ambiguous quote, and that huge fight in the factory with a bunch of scenes still not shown yet for spoilers sake. To quote Brains from DOTM, "This is a total cluster fu-".

Film reveals little plot in a trailer: "Oh god that was so misleading, fucking stupid trailers" Film reveals some plot in a trailer: "Eurgh film trailers these days spoil everything"
[sp]Fucking Quintessons oh my god[/sp]
Film reveals little plot in a trailer: "Oh god that was so misleading, fucking stupid trailers"
there's a difference between revealing the plot and being deceptive [editline]18th June 2014[/editline] the trailer for godzilla was deceptive because it gave more of a suspenseful, cloverfield-like vibe (and also showed shots that weren't in the movie afaik). the trailer for, say, the winter soldier was pretty good because it told almost nothing about the plot and gave the same feel that the movie ended up having. now, the trailers we're getting for this movie pretty much say [sp]"this guy comes to retrieve optimus prime and to destroy earth, and the autobots need to recruit the dinobots in order to win"[/sp]
I hate to ask but what the heck are [sp]Quintessons? They seem to have connections to Unicron, which is about it.[/sp]
I hate to ask but what the heck are [sp]Quintessons? They seem to have connections to Unicron, which is about it.[/sp]
Again, we're not sure if it's them, it's still very vague on what's going on except Galvatron, Dinobots, Lockdown looking for Optimus for "them", and the man-made Transformers. My guess like what the fandom is that it might be [sp]The second generation of Decepticons, lead by possibly The Liege Maximo, who want to capture him for his matrix capabilities.[/sp] If you want to know more, take a look at this: (copy the links inside the spoilers) For [sp]the Quintessons[/sp] Link:[sp]http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Quintesson[/sp] For [sp] The second gen Decepticons and The Liege Maximo[/sp] Link:[sp] http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Cybertronian_(faction)[/sp]
HOLY SHIT ALL THIS BOT INTERACTIONS
HOLY SHIT ALL THIS BOT INTERACTIONS
That dancing scene and Hound... until the film is out in Imax, have all my cringe. Edit: Eh, second look, it's harmless, and kind of silly fun. At least Cade's daughter seems like a character rather than "OMG save me all the time" or "typical Michael Bay chick". At least, not yet. Edit 2: More looks = better than I thought. Hound is definitely shaping up to be something in this film. Hope to see him do some crazy moments in the final act.
Hound is awesome! Also the film has to have some humor in it somewhere. [editline]17th June 2014[/editline] Drift in the background bouncing his head, Hound's jiggling around, Bee's back doors are clapping to the beat, and Crosshairs in the background just shakes his head.
Dancing scene celebrating [sp] their victory [/sp]?
Dancing scene celebrating [sp] their victory [/sp]?
Doubt it because Bumblebee is the old Camaro
I hate to ask but what the heck are [sp]Quintessons? They seem to have connections to Unicron, which is about it.[/sp]
if you've seen the original 1986 animated movie, they're the weirdos with the [sp]sharkticons that put Kup & Hotrod on trial.[/sp] consensus seems to be that is has to be them because there is no one else that the word "they" ('they' being plural) could possibly be referring to.
Oh my god, the Transformers have colors! Maybe I can tell them out from the bad guys now!
HOLY SHIT ALL THIS BOT INTERACTIONS
Haha, this is going to be Revenge of the Fallen 2.
Haha, this is going to be Revenge of the Fallen 2.
At least it's not a "hump your leg" joke in rotf or "deep wang" in DOTM. As far as I know when they were doing early viewings of AoE some time ago, the only lewd or implied inneundo joke they made was about Tessa's short jeans back in the beginning where [sp]Cade tells her to change into better pants for her BF coming over and then the US agents arrive with Galvatron.[/sp] It seems to be played for laughs for Bay's thing for using hot chicks in his films. Yeah, one dance scene and it's automatically ROTF 2.0  Let's wait until the reviews of the premeire on the 19th of June and the 27th US date to judge it right, it aint too far now.
