TF4 has hit 1 Billion dollars.
That's nice, now [sp]let's see that space fight in TF5 with a decent fight with Galvatron and all of the Autobots on Earth to prove his might![/sp]
Good news/bad news/old news, Michael Bay MIGHT NOT direct the new "Transformers" films. I know he's said it a bunch of times for each film, but with his other hinted projects and his new TV show already airing, this might come true. http://www.theverge.com/2014/8/11/5991603/transformers-5-michael-bay-may-hand-off-series-to-new-director Here's to hoping that we get a more renowned director with more competent writers and hopefully continue where TF4 left off.
Honestly, I'd prefer if Bay finished off what he's done. Just, with a new writer.
yeah, they really need to get rid of whoever wrote age of extinction. oh, apparently this cunt who wrote it also wrote dotm and co-wrote rotf. that's weird, because rotf was dogshit and dotm was the second best of the four.

DOTM was okay, but I HATED how the humans took center stage. the 1st one, Age of Extinction almost make a good TF movie, while DOTM/ROTF tie with being utterly crap. Hopefully the new guy(s) take emphasis on more TF screentime, not more Transformers that will be kicked to the curve like Drift might be in TF5, but more screentime. For now, I'm sticking to Psi's "The Touch" SFM video and the forest battle from ROTF while I acquire more TF game models to use for SFM.
tired after the first part!
Haven't seen the movie, but damn, I like the soundtrack
I always enjoy Jablonsky's music from all Transformers films.
Some more news, TF5 is indeed on the horizon for an apparent 2015-16 release. No director confirmed yet proves that Bay may not return for the final two films. This was found some days/weeks ago, can't believe I lost the source. :v: Take you speculations now!
I bet it will be [sp]Michael Bay[/sp]
They just mass produce Transformers, because of people thinking that it is cool explosions and shit. Michael Bay just blow up things when he does movies, that's why he's movies often sucks, exept the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".
bay is only a producer for tmnt, he has no involvement with its writing or directing.
bay is only a producer for tmnt, he has no involvement with its writing or directing.
producers are almost always involved with the making of the movie one way or another, they're the ones paying for it after all
Speculation: Who wants to see Tarn and the Decepticon Justice Devision to appear for TF5? [t]http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/336/4/a/djd___tarn__colored__by_tyr44-d5mvqtx.jpg[/t] [t]http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/thumb/c/c8/Mtmte7_djd.jpg/500px-Mtmte7_djd.jpg[/t]

The Military did absolutely nothing in this film, you see a bunch of jets flying around, but they never engage anything.
The Military did absolutely nothing in this film, you see a bunch of jets flying around, but they never engage anything.
The Chinese military fired at Lockdowns ship when Galvatron says he's reborn.
The Chinese military fired at Lockdowns ship when Galvatron says he's reborn.
Huh, I must have missed that.
Huh, I must have missed that.
It's very easy to miss because you're focused on so much other stuff, it happens in the background. There's a lot of other stuff that I missed before that I saw also. Like when the Autobots are boarding Lockdown's ship, Bumblebee uses his grapple hook to get on.
Someone made an INSANELY detailed analysis on the Bayformers continuity. Now that's some dedication and some good ideas to fill the plotholes that the films made: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-movie-discussion/425965-george-ive-got-spoilers.html Now let's see if TF5 and 6 can get good writing and connections like this. :v:
Since the next movie is about the [sp]"creators" (quintesons anyone?), I hope they finally address the issue of the all-spark[/sp]or else thats a major plothole but they probably wont address it.

Well it's finally happening: Michael Bay isn't returning to Transformers. Someone else is going to step in for TF5. I'm honestly not sure if this is better or worse. Alright. Now I'm interested.
Sure Bay's gone, but let's see if we can boot Ehren Kruger as well. That man can't write plot for shit. Bad enough we had to put up with Bay's same directing choices (hot chick, wimpy guy, explosions everywhere, american flags everywhere, etc.), but we had to put up with non-existent stories for TF2-4.
i'm not sure any of them truly have plots. funny seeing as how orci and kurtzman wrote the first two and yet they also wrote the star trek reboots.
i'm not sure any of them truly have plots. funny seeing as how orci and kurtzman wrote the first two and yet they also wrote the star trek reboots.
At least the first one had a over-the-top premise of "goverment secrets hiding alien tech" and ran with the obserity of it while keeping it fun. Not to mention that it had some action elements that we've never seen in other action films imo. 2-3 on the hand seemed to follow the COD-route with copying action setpiece elements from the first one, adding more BS into the plot, and Bay and co. having a bad taste in dirty humor.
what kind of action elements? the action in these films were as generic as other michael bay films.
The 1st had the fight with Scorponok, and the fight with the 'Cons in Mission City. TF2 despite the shit had the 3-against-one Forest Fight scene, and TF3 had The Driller and Sentinel Prime finale fight. They had at least something to look forward to; unlike TF4 which had that shitty out-of-focus Galvatron fight and the humans vs. Lockdown while Prime was experiencing bugged sword injury mechanics.
