How the fuck do I relate to a T-Rex?
The real question should be "How the fuck do we relate to a T-rex that acts like a naughty dog?"
The Trailer's here. I saw this during the ESPN Halftime. I'm honestly pretty hyped. This is looking to be really good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyVKK87hYYM
Are we finally getting Unicron?
Are we finally getting Unicron?
Looks like Cybertron. I think the Creators did something while Optimus went into space.
The official TF5 poster is out. [t]http://news.tfw2005.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2016/12/Transformers-The-Last-Knight-Movie-Poster.jpg[/t] If that ain't foreshadowing [sp]Bee's death[/sp], I don't know what is.
if they're really gonna [sp]kill bumblebee[/sp], i think [sp]shia labeouf should cameo[/sp]
if they're really gonna [sp]kill bumblebee[/sp], i think [sp]shia labeouf should cameo[/sp]
[sp]He walks on the scene sporting a full beard a Padawan braid. Before Prime strikes the final blow Sam Witwicky squats with his hands below his crotch shouting "Do it! Just! Do it!!" and stabs Bumblebee in the spark. Bumblebee revives himself to kick Prime's faceplate off to reveal Actual Cannibal Shia LeBouf. The real Optimus Prime swoops in and kills him.[/sp] I'm terrible.
The Collider posted an interview with TF5 Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. The guy's...blunt to say the least. http://collider.com/transformers-5-plot-characters-dinobots-details/ Some noteworthy parts: -(Story Spoilers)[sp]More Grimlock and Dinobot screentime[/sp] -[sp]How Galvatron will transition back to Megatron[/sp] -[sp]The Creators= Quintessons[/sp] -How this ties in with the Bumblebee Spinoff plus the next numbered TF films 6 & 7 -How the crew decide not to listen to fan feedback, even during early production, lest they wind up with a quote unquote "Frankenstein script."
he really likes saying the word mythology.
Looks like we almost had a Transformers X GI Joe crossover with GI Joe #3, but apparently with the conflict with what Bay is doing that can't happen without some sort of workaround. http://collider.com/gi-joe-3-transformers-dj-caruso/amp/
...they’re not ready to do [G.I. Joe meets Transformers] yet. That’s exactly what they should do but they’re not ready to do that because in fact the script that I was developing, the two worlds sort of collided at the end and when they read it they were like, ‘We’re not ready to do this yet.’… They will eventually collide those two worlds and it’s probably when Mr. Bay decides he’s done with Transformers.”
The Super Bowel TV Spot is out! Stay tuned this Sunday for the extended version. screencaps from the TV Spot [t]http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/attachments/11-jpg.27674063/[/t] "ME GRIMLOCK KING OF THE MOLE PEOPLE!!" When the leak was taken down, Bay put it back up hours later in 4k resolution. Well its a slow ass news year before TF5 comes out in June. With filming already wrapped up and all that's left now is the robots themselves, I think I should impose a bit of a debate for people interested to keep this thread active; now that TF5 has a new team with decent history aside from Bay himself, will this mean the possibilities that future films will be better, worse, or stay roughly the same as the previous films? What can you expect from the writers who brought you Iron Man and Blackhawk Down? Because this thread hasn't moved to the second page yet, I'm NOT going to bump it but instead edit this with a new trailer from the Kids Choice JOHN CENA Awards 2017 and a 1 minute movie. Considering that its from the KCA, expect more focus on the child actor who is a Nickelodeon star. Who cares though because we get more focus on motherfucking Megatron and the new decepticons...for all of three seconds.
Disregard the KCA trailer, and now we have the real trailer that's finally out.
So Isabella "Groan-er" left a bad taste, so let's have CGI motion posters instead. We now have a confirmed final look of Movie Hot Rod, Barricade's now look, and the mysterious Cogman! In perspective these are the ones the movie's gonna focus on which is why Onslaught and Decepticon Nitro don't get one. TBH I kinda want the Megatron or Prime as gif avatars if I were to get gold. We also confirm Sir Anthony Hopkin's role in the film. http://ew.com/movies/2017/03/22/transformers-last-knight-motion-posters/?xid=entertainment-weekly_socialflow_twitter
Cogman is described as a “centuries-old man servant who happens to have anger issues, among other things.” If you couldn’t tell by his knightly demeanor, he’s also the sidekick to Sir Edmund Burton (played by Sir Anthony Hopkins), an English lord who seems to have an idea of why the Transformers keep coming to earth.
For those who missed out on Onslaught and Nitro: [T]http://i.imgur.com/8w2K4WB.png[/T] [T]http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/attachments/17355018_804198083066745_1702716343_n-jpg.27692748/[/T] Edit: Removed the gifs
So there was a 30 minute fan-footage event going on in certain states. For those lucky to go on a school night could watch 15 minutes worth of Behind the scenes footage of TF5 while the last 15 are footage from the film. Spoilers, but its a Bay film from the press release It's all unfinished and jumbled together CGI scenes though with the only notable spoilers being perhaps the "kickass part" starting [sp]with the knights of the round table fighting other knights/barbarians and the three heading dragon transformer Dragonstorm(figure name) gets summoned by Merlin.[/sp] This might be the opening to the film. [sp]Then the knights of the round table gather at a castle with each one appointed a Transformer. One of them is very familiar... Megaton gets a small scene, but doesn't talk...yet.[/sp] We also have this LQ render of Optimus and Megatron. I pray this means they get a kickass fight. My ticket money is banking on this moment. Might as well post it here since its possibly the last trailer for the movie.
This is supposedly the final trailer for the film. June 21st is coming fast. Don't forget there's a Chinese premiere coming soon on the 13th. I'd advise you from searching up TF5 on the chance someone records footage illegally.
Shocking News: its another turdformer.
omg i can't believe it
Oooooh boy we are in for it now! K'now maybe I should hit a bar before seeing this movie. It'd be a first, and it'll at least give me a sense of enjoyment.
Oooooh boy we are in for it now! K'now maybe I should hit a bar before seeing this movie. It'd be a first, and it'll at least give me a sense of enjoyment.
You will never get a good movie if you and other people keep going to see those turdbuckets. Stop.
Fact of the matter is, people will always buy tickets to see these films and, as a result, these films will always be made. I'm one of the people who'll still go and see these films, no matter how awful they are, because I'm deeply invested in the Transformers brand; I guess I'm part of the problem but hey-ho. Heck, who knows, maybe we'll get some good Transformers games out of this. We've already got Forged to Fight and Earth Wars, maybe we'll get another open world one.
i have to see this movie
I hope the soundtrack is good.
I hope the soundtrack is good.
You can find the soundtrack online if you want to skip the movie altogehter. There are whole tracks of it on Yotube and places like iTunes and Spotify. There's also a portrait of Fredrick Douglas in the room too! I swear whoever was setting up the props for that scene was just grabbing images online.
Honestly, just makes me wish they'd do an animated movie at this point. Something related to the aligned community; hell, go back to the old animation of Prime, bring some new story together involving the aligned continuity Autobots who are still kicking and get that out there. Prime itself was essentially a full-length movie split into episodes.
Apparently the movie also says what happens to [sp] Sam Witwicky [/sp]
Spoilers out the absolute ass for Transformers: The Last Knight below. I'm going to put some filler text here so that anyone looking at my comment history doesn't see the spoiler. In the meantime, do consider if you want to actually read the spoiler below, which the answer is probably "no" if you haven't seen the movie. This should be enough. I really want to know what the hell was up with [sp]the fight scene between Bumblebee and Optimus.[/sp] [sp]Why did Bumblebee suddenly gain the ability to speak after he physically tore out his voicebox after he went into a fit of rage over Microsoft Anna being his voice? And why the fuck did he suddenly stop this brainwashed Optimus from killing an omnicidal planet devourer and him in the process, when that was literally his life's goal? He was brainwashed by the evil alien-robot-god and decided "whoop nope imma stop now" from hearing his voice WHICH SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE.[/sp]
Apparently TF5 has made the lowest amount in box office in the franchise at 69 mil. domestically as of now. Not only that, since they spent a boatload of money on the ads and the star power, it technically bombed. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/weekend-box-office-transformers-5-opens-franchise-low-69m-1016525
The Last Knight, which Paramount says cost $217 million to make before a major marketing spend, is the latest summer sequel to spring an oil leak, at least in the U.S., coming in 31 percent behind Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014). And it is the first Transformers movie not to open to $100 million or more. The [del]good[/del] bad news? Transformers 5 is wielding a sharper sword overseas, where it earned $196.2 million from its first 40 markets — including $123.4 million in China alone — for a global start of $265.3 million. The movie's performance continues the trend set by Age of Extinction, which did far more business internationally, becoming the first Transformers film to clear $1 billion worldwide upon grossing $858.6 million offshore, compared to a domestic take of $245.4 million. Imax theaters contributed $24.3 million. "The movie was conceived of for a global audience and it performed for a global audience. You aren’t making the movie with just the U.S. in mind," said Paramount president of marketing and distribution Megan Colligan.
In other words, "We don't care if it's the same movie as the last one. As long as China and other countries make back our money, we don't care what the critics at home think." -Megan Colligan. What a bitch. Bayformers really sounds like its going to become Call of Duty of cinemas.
