Is there any decent site for downloading\watching? Kissanime is always broken for me
crunchyroll's the best legal way to watch anime
Steam, Amazon and Netflix are expanding their libraries [editline]29th June 2017[/editline] All shit quality mind but hey ho
Steam, Amazon and Netflix are expanding their libraries [editline]29th June 2017[/editline] All shit quality mind but hey ho
steam's just seems to be crunchy's catalogue which makes it seem pointless since a single 12-episode series will cost about the same as a month's subscription to crunchy so i dont really see any reason to buy a series on steam instead of a month on crunchy that would let you watch a lot more for the same price

Is there actually an official legal service like Crunchyroll but for manga?
yeah, crunchyroll has manga and you can get a shounen jump sub too
What? That's nice, I never knew that. I always thought they only had anime.
What? That's nice, I never knew that. I always thought they only had anime.
last time i used it their reader was pretty poor so most people prefer to use batoto anyway
Gantz:O was a lot better than I expected
Yeah I thought so too. CG was also pretty good.
if you guys havent read it yet, you should totally check out chio-chan no tsuugakuro it's (in my opinion) the best and funniest currently publishing comedy manga
More people need to read grand blue https://myanimelist.net/manga/70345
So crunchyroll is simulcasting fox spirit matchmaker's japanese dub. it's one of the more popular donghuas, and i hope the japanese dub brings more attention to it because it's great. very funny but it does get serious when it needs to
Funniest currently publishing manga is Hinamatsuri [t]http://i.imgur.com/kvhkmXk.png[/t] Runners up are Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai,Nozaki-kun and Prison School one of the best parts about these 3 is that there really isn't any strict tsukkomi characters
Hinamatsuri is godlike :ok:
Was a solid watch. [sp]I don't like how Satan is literally anime Hitler and responsible for thousands of deaths and they just sort of gloss over that little detail. He sort of says "Yeah, sorry I guess" to the big hero whose father was killed by his army and the issue is dropped. Shouldn't that carry a little more fucking emotional weight? On the other hand, it makes her cold attitude towards him 100% justified for once because he's literally Hitler in their homeland and hell, I wouldn't let that go. In fact, it works against the plot itself when everyone is jumping to his defense considering what he did, even considering his current demeanor. If Hitler lived in modern times and was just trying to work at MgRonald's and get by, the average person would probably just shoot him on the spot.[/sp]
not gonna do spoilers but the later LNs give new perspective/twists regarding the background of the MC and the supporting cast which may help you better understand why he's like that
not gonna do spoilers but the later LNs give new perspective/twists regarding the background of the MC and the supporting cast which may help you better understand why he's like that
I found fanlations of the LNs and am reading them. They're actually remarkably well-written considering these are fanlations and written for teenagers. [editline]29th June 2017[/editline] Actually this might be professional. There are errors, but they're the type of errors you would expect from OCR mistakes. 'r' and 'n' close together being made an 'm', 'r' being converted to 't', and stuff like that which leads me to believe this was a scan processed into textual PDF.

This is the first light novels series I have read and I highly recommend it. So far (book 6), the series has kept up with the quality of the anime. About your complaint, it's one I have too, and in the novels they work somewhat to keep up the fact that [sp]to the hero and many people he is a REALLY bad dude.[/sp] For example, (light novel spoiler:) [sp] there is a really kind and hard-working character and after Maou compliments them the hero goes "bet there were a lot of people like that who you killed in Ente Isla"[/sp] and I was like DAMNNNNN. The light novels really make the story interesting with other factions and great characters. One complaint I have is that the (fantastic) official translations get rid of honorifics, but it's a minor complaint. If you're reading the LNs don't click my spoiler please. Anyway, I highly highly highly highly highly highly highly highly highly highly highly recommend reading the official translations over the fan translations. The official translations do drop honorifics, but they SO much better capture the dialog and descriptions in general. You can tell if they are the official translations or not by checking the copyright page (I think usually the second or third to last page from the end); if it says Yen Press it's official. Otherwise it's the fan translation done by mittens_220 Here's a spoiler-free sample of why I recommend the official translations over the fan translations: Fan translation TV shows and music programmes are important material when talking to friends at school, and her personal interests are watching travel programmes and documentaries, and at the same time, she would watch a quizshow at a fixed time every week. Official translation [Character name] watched a fair share of TV herself. Dramas and music shows gave her something to discuss with her school friends, although her personal preferences leaned toward travel and documentaries. There were one or two weekly quiz shows she never missed, too.

[editline]29th June 2017[/editline]
Stuff about 'The Devil is a Part-Timer' LNs.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll continue reading. They weren't kidding about the 'light' in 'light novel', though. This is some very easy reading. I polished off 300 pages in an afternoon. Having lots of fun. Maybe I'm an old man but I'm enjoying the books more than the manga and anime so far. It feels more engaging, I guess. And the anime and manga really aren't bad.
As somebody who doesn't read a lot of manga, if these are the funniest examples of the funniest current manga, you're gonna have to do a lot better.
It's the first two pages of Chio-chan, no shit it isn't the funniest thing you've seen all week.
It's the first two pages of Chio-chan, no shit it isn't the funniest thing you've seen all week.
Well maybe you should have specified?
Well maybe you should have specified?
Why? He simply showed a sample of it to show what it is like. Doesn't have to be the epitome of funny in those exact frames. I'm gonna check it out at least.
Strangely enough, I don't think I've ever properly laughed while reading manga, just varying levels of amusement.
Woah, calm down. I thought it was linked as an especially funny moment is all, and it really didn't do anything for me. No need to take it personally.
Just read mitsuboshi colours
The ep 13 special ova thing (called ep 13 on CR) for demi-chan had a short scene with a new girl after the ED. Hopefully it's hinting towards a s2. [editline]30th June 2017[/editline] Nvm apparently the new girl was from some oneshot thing, she's not canon.
Weird, there were no OVAs or specials listed for Demi-Chan so why is there a 13?
Woah, calm down. I thought it was linked as an especially funny moment is all, and it really didn't do anything for me. No need to take it personally.
you should read a couple chapters before you judge a manga, for most comedy manga it's impossible to share the "real meat" of it with a page or two because you need the context of the whole chapter to make some of the moments as funny as they are
holy fuck Seikaisuru Kado that was quite the finale I really enjoyed this show, despite [sp]the massive paradigm shift[/sp]
Looking for some title that i can laugh and casually enjoy, anything that is currently airing? I don't mind some old ones. Can be manga but if there's a good anime version, i'd appreciate. I rewatched Carnival Phantasm again and it stills makes me laugh, sort of wished there would be another of those.
Holy shit, Tsuki ga Kirei was absolutely fucking fantastic. Really fucking well written and realistic with a satisfying ending. So damn sweet. The finale had some pretty nice sakuga cuts, even though there was a bit of quality throughout. It's honestly my surprise of the season. I didn't pick it up until late and i'm glad i did. The pacing was absolutely spot on for a romance anime that only had 12 scant episodes to drag us in. The main duo wasn't all that was focused on either, with side characters that felt engaging, as well as also receiving meaningful development, scattered throughout the main plotline. The miniarcs these characters received ran in tandem with the main plot and often times the results of which serves as the driving force behind the relationship. It's something that definitely left me a surprising dose of the warm and fuzzies, or anxiety, after the end of each episode. I'd highly recommend it if you're a fan of romance, or even if you aren't. It's also nice to see that after dismal sales numbers throughout the season, the finale caused a hearty jump in the sales and gave it a significant boost in the rankings. It's good shit.
