I expected for this episode of Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul to be a recap. Instead we got probably the best episode of the show so far.
holy fuck Seikaisuru Kado
that was quite the finale
I really enjoyed this show, despite [sp]the massive paradigm shift[/sp]
I really have no idea what to think of the ending

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. I guess we'll get the new OP next week [sp]since we're finally changing scenery and reaching a new arc [/sp]

Haven't watched it, but I was reading discussion's about the last several episodes. Someone brought up an interesting point how [sp]the show was slowly going through each possible solution to the premise of what is the "right answer"" going through negotiation, violence, and then whatever the kid symbolizes (assimilation?). Since I didn't watch the show, the explanation made a fair bit of sense to me, but I have no idea how well this idea was presented throughout the it.
Finished Katahane no Riku recently here and it was a pretty nice twist on standard isekai novels, minus the often iffyish translation. Sorta looking forward to more works from the author.
Kado copped the fuck out. First on [sp]"figuring out how humanity would react to all of these sci-fi concepts is hard, so let's completely change the show from exploring that to a simple black and white conflict"[/sp] and then extra hard with [sp]making it so that all of the devices stopped working for an easy and convenient status quo reset.[/sp] It pretty much became a completely different and considerably dumber show after a certain point.
I swear this [sp]reset to status quo[/sp] bullshit always happens.

Loved how he kind of just nonchalantly dropped his weapon in that scene. Felt like he was unleashing his inner-Favaro.

[Kado]
I was expecting a show where [sp]we would get a deep perspective on what we would get if we started hemorrhaging progress. Things like political, ideological, cultural, etc. tensions. It started out that way with some political tension, but at the point when zaShunina tried to kill Shindo, it quickly threw that all away and overromatacized the crap out of what it means to be human.
If it was able to stay true to itself and focus on what it had at the start of the show, then the end battle would've been less physical and blood and more extremely heated debate and negotiation which would've, in my opinion, have been much more fun to watch. Instead we end up with a main character I just completely don't care for anymore and an omnipotent being with a severely acute neurodegenerative brain disease (No seriously, why did he go full retard? He's treating humanity like its his heroin addiction and being "more human" doesn't cut it for an explanation.) having a stupid, short brawl that didn't need to happen and didn't help the show in any way.[/sp]
I can't say that I'm really anything but disappointed. I expected so much after the 0/1st episode and was given table scraps.

Brings a tear to my eye to see a hentai authors only non-h work get turned into a anime.
Tiger Mask W 38 was also great to watch, not comparable to 37 but it really felt a solid episode.
I hope [sp] they make a season for Haruna, there's potential with comedy and fights. I loved her agility and Miss X as a fighter could be well developed too[/sp]

Based Xebec, the designs look so accurate to TSR even after all these years.

So much stuff I'm looking forward to, thank you AnimeExpo.
I don't frequent here often, but I finished Plastic Memories.
All I can say is I need a hug. Big one too.
Re:Creators is the first show to make me happy that there's a recap episode next week.
It turned out to be the most entertaining episode of the series. Go figure.

Is the adaption that bad? The novel wasn't amazing but wasn't that bad I felt.
Is the adaption that bad? The novel wasn't amazing but wasn't that bad I felt.
TBH the entire thing feels like your typical isekai story except centered around mechs.
Is the adaption that bad? The novel wasn't amazing but wasn't that bad I felt.
it skipped over a good portion of everything and not little bits here and there, huge chunks, just so it can leave itself on a clifthanger before giant turtle demon
Symphogear AXZ on the other hand was great, Chris is still the best
TBH the entire thing feels like your typical isekai story except centered around mechs.
Pretty much what I remembered it as yeah, but no harem antics and mechs are cool so it was okay enough to me.
it skipped over a good portion of everything and not little bits here and there, huge chunks, just so it can leave itself on a clifthanger before giant turtle demon
Oh jeez that would really do it, wasn't that near the end of the first volume?
Symphogear AXZ on the other hand was great, Chris is still the best
I was so excited for new Symphogear that I forgot it's mostly "subs when" while airing.
Netflix managed to revive UTW so now they are going to sub fate apocrypha. came at the right time lol, felt like people were just an inch away from just translating the spanish subs to english
as for episode i didn't impress me at all, cheap animation , weak ost, everything just kinda felt worse than what we got with the ufotable fate shows. gonna continue watching it because fate but it lowered my excitement for sure.
I fucking hated Apocrypha's first episode. I already thought the source material was garbage fanfiction tier writing and the anime managed to fuck up even the decent bits of dialog. And the animation, the animation is just enough to convince plebs it looks like "sakuga" when in fact it is dogshit that uses every trick in the fucking book to hide how garbage it is.

That last episode of Dragonball Super was a pretty good start to the tournament
Apparently they showed a trailer to FLCL2, but Toho's shutting down any and all attempts to upload it. You can find pics at least, people are already complaining about the art style.
AXZ is good shit.
