Apparently they showed a trailer to FLCL2, but Toho's shutting down any and all attempts to upload it. You can find pics at least, people are already complaining about the art style.
See how long it takes before it gets taken down

I'm watching Clannad AS, after watching the first season Does anything happen? Is this the wrong anime to watch if I'm looking for some overarching story that ends in a satisfying way? Because it seems like every episode is a bottle episode so far (on episode 9 of the second season) Also, need some more anime too. Looking for stuff like Toradora! in terms of writing and animation quality (good dub quality is a plus). I still think that's the one of the best animes I've seen (but I've seen very few anime. I'm new to the whole thing ever since my girlfriend ignited the anime spark in me)

So having finished Plastic Memories last night I need something new to watch. Something like it would be preferred, so romantic slice of life, but also manages to make me laugh. Any suggestions before I take to looking around?

I hear that japanese netflix puts shows up with English subs so if you have a vpn you could probably access it that way, otherwise you'll have to rely on less than legal fansubs, which obviously I can't link here.

Well I totally wouldn't be against you shooting me over a message of totally legal contents.
new Imaishi project that claims to be Gurren Lagann-esque? could this be the getter robo go adaptation I've been waiting for
could this be the getter robo go adaptation I've been waiting for
No it's this one
I got to see the 1st episode of Violet Evergarden. Gorgeous, as expected, and it seems promising. Hopefully Kyoani can really make something great.

I only recently started watching anime, and I can't say I've seen a lot of it, but after that first season of Oregairu everything feels underwhelming.
Hurts to know that Violet Evergarden is 8 months away, wish I could attend AX...

(com sol feat rom), Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (chill sol feat cute robots), Time of Eve (drama with sol tinge feat robots), Planetarian (drama revolving around a cute robot), Cromartie (mechazawa) I can't be held responsible if laughs are replaced by tears.
Hurts to know that Violet Evergarden is 8 months away, wish I could attend AX...
Speaking of it, someone recorded the full OP in potato quality. I wonder if they got the same orchestra from Hibike (dat oboe). The singer of the OP is the same one as the one for the Hibike OPs.
Found this French cartoon called Dofus, apparently it's based off some European MMO. Show is definitely better than the game though. Very well done artstyle, story is basically just a collection of stories. Fun to watch and just chill with, writing is good too. Would recommend

Isekai Shokudou seems like the nice, chill show of the season.
Isekai Shokudou was every bit as good as I hoped it'd be. Finally an actual good anime this season, took them a while.
I fucking hated Apocrypha's first episode. I already thought the source material was garbage fanfiction tier writing and the anime managed to fuck up even the decent bits of dialog. And the animation, the animation is just enough to convince plebs it looks like "sakuga" when in fact it is dogshit that uses every trick in the fucking book to hide how garbage it is.
Should I wait till it's on Netflix then?
No you should skip it entirely, don't watch apocrypha, watch any other fantasy action show from the last ten years, it'll be more fun.
