Yasuminka's story is the dumbest shit I've ever read.
That's why I love it
I didn't really know anything about Tsurezure Children going into it other than that people seemed to be praising it a lot. I ended up getting the most sugary overly saccharine romance series I've ever seen, and I can't stand it. Whoever is watching it will probably die of diabetes by the end.
Tsurezure would probably be much less ehhh to watch if the comedic timing wasnt so ehhhhhhhh Also blackmail is bad
Yasuminka's story is the dumbest shit I've ever read.
That honestly sounds hilarious
I'm diggin' the artstyle even if the animation is a bit jank.
Yasuminka: [sp]Is constantly eating snacks and staying fat because she has the unfortunate burden of thousands of starved ukrainian/hungarian souls trapped within her body. She is always eating in order to satiate the spirits, if she stopped they would erupt from her body and terrorize humanity.[/sp]
Theres no way this can be legit, i refuse to believe it. [editline]5th July 2017[/editline]
[sp] and also stripped her of her ability to speak! [/sp]
but.. [sp]she spoke[/sp] in the last episode.
Yeah I didn't even catch the fact that she did that, when did she do that in the episode?
[sp] she has the last line in the show. just after the group shot where every one gasps at akko flying constanze says "she flew" [/sp]
[sp] she has the last line in the show. just after the group shot where every one gasps at akko flying constanze says "she flew" [/sp]
Damn, I totally missed that! I even reskimmed the episode for that moment last time someone mentioned it. Thanks.

I just finished watching Cowboy Bebop for the first time a week ago and I think it's probably the best show I've ever watched. It didn't really feel like I was watching an anime series or anything which I think is quite amazing to be honest. The English dub was absolutely top-notch, the animation was super fluent and stylish, the music was catchy and fitting for each respective episode, and the characters are very entertaining and fleshed out, even the minor ones. Even the worst episode is pretty damn good. And after I finished it I was like fuck. It's over. Damn. I kind of felt skeptical initially, I thought because everyone said it was the best I might have an opinion contrary to that but nope. I agree, I fucking loved it.
If it makes you feel any better, Hollywood's trying to remake that show.
Hollywood is trying to remake just about everything that was successful.

I finished rewatching FLCL and got most of the Gainax references like Daicon & TTGL [editline]6th July 2017[/editline] Wait a sec maybe TTGL was referencing FLCL?
Can anyone suggest some good mangas that start off comedic or light hearted and then turn real way too fast? I'm looking for stuff similar to Helck, Made into Abyss, and I guess Gintama.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-07-07/karakai-jozu-no-takagi-san-manga-gets-tv-anime-in-2018/.118527 Another good mango getting anime
Tried to watch Parasyte and didn't really like it. I loved the manga and remember reading it back in the early 00's when it was imported over here in the US and one of the things I really liked about it was the graphic, twisted tone of the series. It was violent as hell, which is always cool if you like the more violent manga but I really just liked how the characters were all written and who they were. I was sad to see that the tone of the manga was missing from the anime, I also didn't like how bright and colorful every looked and I was sad to see that the characters felt very different from who they were in the manga. There was something really organic about some of them in the manga that felt very scripted in the anime. 3 episodes into it and I thought Shin was more of a Peter Parker clone, Sara felt generic, and I didn't like Migi at all. I know I'm a minority here and even though I only watched 6 episodes of the series 24 or so, it just wasn't for me. Could be nostalgia, could just be I wasn't the target audience.

Made in [del]China[/del] Abyss already has me hooked. I like that setting and premise way too much not to watch, plus the art is top notch.

Everybody wish a happy birthday to Hitagi Senjougahara!
Made in Abyss seems really good so far, it's only 1 episode in but I love the setting already. Is it me or is there a lot of dark hints though?
