I feel like a truly proper Berserk anime that shares the same art style AND is animated properly would take about 75% of Japan's total budget
Forget the space race, this is the next clash between superpowers

The whole demo doesn't care about breaking the 4th wall, which is great
Also, completely forgot how vulgar Miu was.

I'm a little confused, is Owarimonogatari Season 2 only supposed to be 3 episodes or 7? Or did they condense all 7 episodes into 3 episodes?
Never mind, they all aired at the same time so they just condensed them.
It's 7 episodes with 3 arcs. Crunchyroll bundled the episodes of each arc together to make 3 parts - Two 40 minute episodes and one hour long episode.

NEW KASE-SAN ANIME! I AM SO EXCITED! I hope it's more than just a music video this time.
i'm gonna stay cautiously optimistic on that
i was so disappointed when the previous kase-san anime turned out to just be a 6 minute ad
wew well I actually watched the ghost in the shell live action movie.
Was pretty bad overall as expected. Very surface level with the themes it tries to convey and the world building. They constantly use DoF to hide the background and all the holograms and stuff are pretty uninteresting. Not to mention they desperately tried to fit in scenes from the anime movie just to remind you of what you're watching. The Major constantly acts like a Chuuni because all the other characters are not involved with her conflict, they're just there to give context to her current situation. (There's a scene where they're on a boat and the Major is contemplating her morality and Batou is just there chilling and having a beer, it's pretty funny)
That's the thing about the movie. It feels like it was created by western people who have no idea what Japanese culture is like so to represent the culture they just put a lot of stereotypical shit. Aramaki is the only one that speaks in Japanese despite there being multiple Japanese characters so I don't know why they did that...?
At least the ending was kind of OK. But only because it gives off the feeling of "Well this shitty movie is over and now the state of affairs has progressed enough where we can actually do the real shit".
As a foot note, being a Cyberpunk fan, they really didn't try to put anything interesting or cool into the world. Again very shallow surface level sci-fi eye candy.
What if you make a live-action adaptation?
uh no
I've said it before, but Takeshi Kitano was the best part of that otherwise atrocious mess of a movie. He seemed basically bored and drugged up for 90% until the last like 15 minutes. [sp]When he got to start shooting people, he seemed to actually have a little fun with the role.[/sp]
Other than that, Batou was at least alright to watch. Everything else was appallingly bad.
Should I a watch the 2016/2017 Berserk first = Checkmark

Ordered the Made in Abyss OST and ED and even found Akihito Tsukushi's official Beetledoor Reco 2011-2017 doujin/artbook for under $100. It needs to be october already so that they both ship.
recreators is finally picking up and I'm glad to see that the cliche edginess is finally coming out into the open with the "How pitiful"s and "___ lost, how truly tragic." All with that damn smile on their face.
...and hunter x hunter is back on hiatus
togashi says he'll be returning before the end of the year, but who knows
Gamers! picked right back up after the boring date episode with a pretty great game of life.
Why is this show half decent? I don't understand why it's not straight garbage

Because the show is packed with so much misunderstandings it loops back into being hilarious instead of frustration.
Also the characters are well-written (even Keita isn't too bad) for what they are and the direction is pretty nice.
Gimme something for a man who just finished Konosuba and just wants more of that.

Gintama for the self-aware comedy in a somewhat fantasy setting. It can go totally fourth-wall breaking at times though.

You might have to be a little more specific, but I'll say that you can't go wrong with Saiki Kusuo no Psi-Nan.

I'll check them both out,
I guess I'm looking for silly, with a bit of action, and enjoyable characters.

Active Raid, Tower of Druaga, Full Metal Panic/Fumoffu. Technically none of them are pure comedy besides Fumoffu, but they're all great and worth checking out. I'd recommend FMP the most out of the three.

Mentioned already but Gintama has a lot of comedy but is known to suddenly change atmosphere and tone at a moment's notice and become very serious.
Honestly I can't think of many action-comedies or just comedies with some action in them, if any, that are all comedy all the time besides Konosuba which is light on the action part.
Mononoke is gud anime
currently watching kino no tabi and loving it. but looking up i saw that they're making a new adaptation that starts in a month? ...but why? kino no tabi doesnt seem like the kind of story that would sell well in the current market without butchering what its trying to do.
Why not?
The Kino novels are popular enough to still be selling well till now and it was popular enough to get an anime in the first place.
Kino herself would drive up some figure and merch sales, so I see no reason to not do it
New kino looks stupid (visually), isn't it a remake and not a reboot anyways?
