I'm looking for a basic ass show that came out in the last two years. I'm talking so basic it has cute schoolgirls in short skirts and thigh high socks. I'm talking "power of friendship" basic. I'm talking about something so basic that SAO fans take a look at it and say "damn bitch don't you have some pumpkin spice coffee to blog about." Hit me up. Has to be in the last two years because that's when I stopped watching anime so if you rec me some shit from before then I'll probably have heard of it or have even seen it before. Please and thank you my anime dudes.
Isekai Smartphone. Everything you asked for.

Being the late anime viewer that I am with a backlog as big as the Harry Potter series, I finally got around to Fate: Unlimited Blade Works. The series was recommended to me by a friend and I looked online and found that a good order would be this, Fate/Zero, and the original Fate: Stay Night. After just getting around to the 2nd to last episode, I really like it. The animation is smooth as butter with a ton of FX making the fight scenes feel so grand to behold, some of the characters are good barring a few shitheads *cough*[sp]Shinji and the priest[/sp]*cough*, and the story along with the lore is fun to unfold. It's like of the first Highlander movie took a bit of time to explain its world a bit more. Hell some elements remind me of the Highlander movies. There's a sense of urgency and tension between the servants as according to the rules of the Holy Grail War there can only be one master to control the Grail itself and earn his wish. I do love some of the servants, with Saber, Archer, Lancer, and Berserker being my favorites so far. The English VA's also do a spectacular job as these characters.
Internet went out today so I decided to watch the rest of Kino's Journey 9/10 I enjoyed it very much

Explain how. From what I heard its pretty much [sp]a route in the VN whereas in UBW it's the same timeline but other routes were taken.[/sp]
Explain how. From what I heard its pretty much [sp]a route in the VN whereas in UBW it's the same timeline but other routes were taken.[/sp]
Yes but it's just terribly done [editline]27th September 2017[/editline] If you can just do the VN, I know that's not for everyone but it's best just not to bother with the Deen Fate stuff
Kobayashi OVA is out
Explain how. From what I heard its pretty much [sp]a route in the VN whereas in UBW it's the same timeline but other routes were taken.[/sp]
I'll explain. Fate/Stay Night is a visual novel with three routes: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel, played in this order. The original 2006 fate/stay night by studio Deen adapts the fate route... sort of. It combines elements from all three routes to mixed effect, it adds new, original content that makes no sense at all, like Caster's secret underground replica of ancient Greece (what the fuck is this why is it here at all.), it has incredibly inconsistent animation, even for 2006, it removes most of the appeal of the story and the characters act weird and out of character. The music is fantastic however, really great soundtrack and opening theme. [editline]27th September 2017[/editline] Oh also watching zero first is a mistake, you fucked up already good job. Never listen to the internet at large on watching order, they don't know for any show and always give out the worst advice like "watch the airing order of haruhi that sucks" or "watch monogatari in chronological order!"
You misheard me, I watched Unlimited Blade Works first. I never got around to zero. Still on UBW, just need to see the last two episodes.
You misheard me, I watched Unlimited Blade Works first. I never got around to zero. Still on UBW, just need to see the last two episodes.
Well, good then. watch zero after.
Finished Unlimited Blade Works. My post above me still stands. 9/10. Can't wait to watch Zero. A few questions though for UBW: 1. Why was Saber [sp]in a wedding dress when Caster captured her in the beginning of Season 2? Was this symbolism to Caster's and Kuzuki's status? They did mention that someone made a rumor that he had a fiance. It was gone when she became Rin's Servant so it looked like a power indicator and the dress was a weakened state.[/sp] 2. Do we ever find out who [sp]Illya's father[/sp] is? It seems the compass points to [sp]Shirou's dad or his adoptive dad, but it's still hazy.[/sp] I think Zero might answer this. 3. The [sp]Epilogue describes new protagonists entering the picture.[/sp] Something I should know after Fate/Zero?

[sp]Caster is obsessed with saber and the original game was an eroge (not a full on porn game but it has sexual content)[/sp] 2. answered by zero 3. I don't know what this means

I'd like to see how they adapt it.

(the old guy with black hair) because he's a character in Zero otherwise idk who you are talking about [/sp]
For #3 yeah some characters appeared that stood out like [sp]the twin-tailed girl who did a suplex to Rin and the old guy who talks to Shirou near the very end at the London academy.[/sp] The description said "new protagonists will rise" or something like that. Got to episodes 1-2 for "Fate/Zero", and already I hate Matous and the serial killer guy. UBW had Shinji and I thought it was just him like 'the bully' for the show, but it turns out [sp]the whole family besides poor Sakura are just shit people.[/sp]

And it's not even that simple anyway.
Oh I love to hate these guys. I know there's something big going down, but man I just love ragging on unlikable characters.
Madhouse can't make OPM season 2 because they're too busy making good shows like Overlord.
Whoa what a surprise a third season

The MiA finale was a roller coaster of emotions. Sadness, happiness, lewdness, despair. I'm really hoping they make a movie or ova for the bonedaddy arc and complete the package.
18if is over. I can say with absolute certainity: AOTS.
18if is over. I can say with absolute certainity: AOTS.
I was expecting a distinctly underwhelming conclusion to an underwhelming overarching plot like that one other episodic dream-world show, and instead I got a fantastic finale. Definitely my favourite show of the season, despite a couple of weaker episodes.
