jokes on you i want to watch precure anyway
jokes on you i want to watch precure anyway
Then do it. Delay not. Tally is complete. Before I say the winners, a special mention to the people responsible for these answers below. Y'all know who you are. [t]https://i.imgur.com/Jkh8nNd.jpg[/t] With that out of the way, the winners are; [t]https://i.imgur.com/zXHAYSY.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/NHwzVt0.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/qy7soBc.jpg[/t] To the surprise of approximately nobody except anybody who's watched more than three magical girl shows, Madoka stormed the vote with 14 of the 25 voters including it in their choices. Cardcaptor Sakura followed with half of that, 7. Nanoha and Yuuki Yuuna were tied for third place with 6 votes each, but alphabetical bias means that Yuuki Yuuna goes into the "Also check out:" section. Oh well. 25 voters out of a good chunk of ~140 or so active members isn't great but half of y'all have never watched magical girl shows anyway so it's fine, it's cool, the new OP is gonna give you some nice choices so you can get yourself up to speed for when we eventually do a full vote including the category! Thread 100 soon, boyos.
ecchi category back when

Children of the Whales is cool, Net-juu no Susume is pretty cute, Blend S makes me feel things, and I'm looking forward to seeing where Animegataris goes with its whole [sp]apocalypse?????[/sp] thing
Garo Vanishing Line is the Manime I've wanted for years but Japan refused to give me.
what are you guys still watching this season?
Most of the things I started. Dropped some right trash though. Also,
wow i was scared i missed a whole op vote
Don't worry. A "full" (i.e. not including the Magical Girl category for now) vote will occur sometime after we're settled into 100.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/zXHAYSY.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/NHwzVt0.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/qy7soBc.jpg[/t]
Surprised that Little Witch Academia didn't even get into the "Also check out:" section. Oh well.
Surprised that Little Witch Academia didn't even get into the "Also check out:" section. Oh well.
A show about girls who are magical is not the same as a magical girl show. You have to take the standard genre tropes and formula into account.
Gotta make sure Girls und Panzer gets a hotspot when Competitive Anime comes up, especially since they've got the new miniseries coming up.
Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou AOTS
Surprised that Little Witch Academia didn't even get into the "Also check out:" section. Oh well.
Not magical girl enough for people to vote in tbh
Not magical girl enough for people to vote in tbh
Would probably fit under fantasy.

Only the first episode went overboard with shakycam, and only really for one fight. the rest of the shaking is reasonable and a legitimate effect to show impact. In fact, I'm tired of anime fight scenes not shaking the camera at all so there's no impact on anything, like fate/apocrypha and recreators.
mahoutsukai no yome continues to be god tier the opening and ending are fucking amazing as well every week I'm reminded of that
this + yama no susume s3 is gonna make for a great 2018
Okay, so I'm not much of an anime/manga kind of dude. I've never been a big fan of anime tropes/the kinda weird cultish attitude around it. But fuck me, I've been recently reading a manga called Grand Blue, recommended to me by my weeb-af co-worker, and it's probably the funniest shit I've ever read. I'm a complete sucker for slapstick humor, and this fucking thing is like my holy grail. The [sp]bartending[/sp] chapter alone made me laugh for like 2 minutes straight in certain parts. Haven't finished it yet, but does anyone have any recommendations to other manga like it? Something like a slapstick/gag comedy kind of thing, with maybe some seriousness sprinkled on it? Makes me want to get into anime/manga a little more.

Detroit Metal City Even if you don't like that kind of music, it's still a king. Pretty profane though. Both anime and manga are fantastic.
caught up with Tokyo Ghoul:re AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA [editline]22nd October 2017[/editline]
Detroit Metal City Even if you don't like that kind of music, it's still a king. Toyko Ghoul Re can't get good again, because it was never good to begin with. also it got worse progressively and continues to do so.
also it got worse progressively and continues to do so.
dunno man these last 2 chapters have been tasty [editline]22nd October 2017[/editline] can't wait to see [sp]Kaneki become the TOKYO GHOUL by eating the whole city[/sp] [sp]literally[/sp]

I'd also recommend Nichijou and Daily Lives of High School Boys for comedy in general.
I am incredibly hyped because I'm gonna have my own place here this Saturday, which means I can use my awesome TV to watch anime. I've been holding off recently just so I have some awesome stuff to watch on it.

Anyone who tries to stop someone from watching Girls und Panzer is a criminal in my eyes. Join us on Discord, my oppressed friend https://discord.gg/26Cde9

It's not really crunchyroll's fault, it's the license holder of the show. CR got the rights to stream it in countries they have the rights to distribute in. this is why most of CR's simulcasts are pretty much worldwide, they have the full rights to it, unlike a lot of their older titles.
