It is time for you all to ask yourselves a question: Why haven't I finished watching Samurai Flamenco? I would like to know. Or maybe you have finished it. Maybe your name is Oldaveragejoe. Good job in that case.
Samurai Flamenco is a timeless masterpiece.
I remember mistaking Samurai Flamenco for Samurai Champloo for some reason. That's why I watched it, and got confused by it. Ended up enjoying it overall tho, also good op
Is Index worth a watch? I just saw it got a cross over with Virtual On
Index gets horrendously repetitive but Railgun is pretty good, if you get into it I suggest watching in whatever the fucked up chronological order is because the Accelerator arc lasts like three episodes in Index so if you watch in release order you'll be going half a season of Railgun knowing how the whole arc concludes
My friend had us watch Blend S for the first episode as a joke. I kind of want to watch it now. Help.
Index gets horrendously repetitive but Railgun is pretty good
Both of these statements are false, for different reasons. Also you are meant to know how the Accelerator arc concludes in advance with Railgun - it's showing you what you didn't see from Touma's perspective, so it expects you to know what Touma saw. Chronological order is a mistake, so don't do that. One day we'll figure out why Index got a crossover with Virtual-On, but at least now is a good time to get the series (including Railgun, if you so incline) down as season 3 finally looms. Hopefully it won't stray even further from the novels. Railgun S3 never though. Thank J.C. Staff for that.
Okay wait haha so I watch Index and then railgun? Or should I just read the manga versions because of the mech stuff?
My friend had us watch Blend S for the first episode as a joke. I kind of want to watch it now. Help.
I started watching it after watching a good hour of memes of the OP.
When in doubt, watch in release order
Okay wait haha so I watch Index and then railgun? Or should I just read the manga versions because of the mech stuff?
I don't remember the manga versions being amazing, but in simple terms Index S1 > Railgun S1 > Index S2 > Railgun S2 (release order) works fine. You can probably watch all of Index and then go to Railgun without missing much of anything since Railgun is mostly filling in blanks, but at the same time Railgun S1 does have a couple moments which make things characters do in Index S2 make a little more sense.
Ah alrighty thank you guys
When in doubt, watch in release order
the only thing ive seen that goes against that so far is yozakura quartet
My friend had us watch Blend S for the first episode as a joke. I kind of want to watch it now. Help.
Do it? It's actually pretty fun if it's your kind of thing at all.
Mahoutsukai no Yome [sp]shit just got real was also nice to see Chise finally stand up for herself and get stuff done[/sp]
Just watched The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl. It's basically a sequel to The Tatami Galaxy in that while the plot is entirely unrelated and the cast is mostly new, it features several returning characters and enough direct continuity to The Tatami Galaxy that you shouldn't watch it without having watched the series. Really fantastic movie and just as good as the series, although it's basically split into four "episodes" to the point that this could be a four-episode OVA or miniseries without changing any of the pacing. Mandatory viewing for anybody who liked The Tatami Galaxy.

My best friend is gonna be coming over near Christmas and we haven't seen each other for a while so we were wondering, what is a good anime show/movie to do a drinking game on that won't kill us but should get us pretty drunk? Preferably something that is entertaining to watch even without getting drunk.
Konosuba, everytime aqua cries you take a shot. Hard mode: every time megumin uses explosion.
My friend and I did sips for: Aqua's ass, Megumin's explosions, and Darkness's masochistic moans. Keep drinking the entire time any of these are on screen.
Do it? It's actually pretty fun if it's your kind of thing at all.
It was fun to watch the first episode so I might. Wasn't sure what the consensus on it was since my friend was watching it as a joke with us.
So I gave arpeggio a watch, the 3d wasn't as bad as I had initially though but otherwise it didn't really stand out as something amazing, nor did it have any deal breaking flaws. [sp]besides name dropping one of my favourite ships then promptly having it die in a deathlaser from a literal deathstar[/sp] Naturally I'm gonna move onto the sequel, or so I thought. "Now they must face a new Fleet of Fog threat known as "Fog Student Council," who are mental models dressed like high school girls. The Fog Student Council preaches that Earth's morals must correspond to the Fog's morals." Yeah no.
Twitch is currently streaming Inuyashiki for no conceivable reason https://www.twitch.tv/twitchpresents let's... Bang!

How long is it gonna take for ReLife to end, every chapter feels like it's nearing the last chapter but it keeps going, it's excruciating.
