tbh the Monogatari series has been going for more than 10 years now, so the amount of book it got isn't that surprising. Meanwhile there are LNs that released even more books than the Monogatari in a shorter time frame, such as Hidan no Aria(2008, 26 books), A Certain Magic Index(2004, 43 books)

didn't most of the monogatari anime staff have actually seen nisio? I remember hearing about them talking about it in one of the commentary tracks, or was it another anime?

iirc they were talking about how nisio would bring specialty from different area of Japan and show up during recording suddenly, which make them confused how can he travel everywhere so fast.

Yeah, hence "got a shitload of screen time". S2 Chain gets focus and does stuff regularly outside of her focus episode, S1 Chain jumped around in the background and that was about it.

Half the Libra team only got focus episodes in the second season. You don't even know what Chain's powers are beside "jump good" until S2.

Kekkei sensen season 1 is honestly a bit crap, it's not that compelling outside of a few episodes and is obsessed with a terrible anime original story

Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan season 2 starts next season, S1 was one of 2016's best comedies. Watch season 1 then watch S2 when it airs.

I haven't been following the series since [sp]Erwin died [/sp] and so I decided to spoil myself on the latest chapter out of curiousity and LOL has this shit completely gone off the fucking rails. Glad to see that my initial feelings that Eren was and alsways will be a psychopathic little whiny shit were completely justified. And to think I used to be a genuine bona fide of AoT when it was initially airing.

Every chapter since Chapter 86 has been pretty golden as we finally learned what is really going on in the world and how our protagonists can fight back.[/sp]
