I mean, I loved Tatami Galaxy (as well as Ping Pong), and this looks gorgeous.
But this isn't a Tatami Galaxy sequel, right? So why are they putting the same characters in?
If it was a brief cameo, that would be one thing, but this seems like more than that.
The girl is different, I guess, but that doesn't mean much when everyone else is the same.
In fact, it seems worse.
And if this is what Tatami Galaxy is based off of, then they can at least put in a little bit of effort in making the characters seem and look different.

I hope some of you might be interested. I am so excited for this as it is all or nothing project and losing this opportunity for one of the most well known Masada works, would be devastating for me.
I don't dislike Battle Royals in concept, hell fate/stay night is technicly a battle royale and I love that shit, the problem is most battle royale settings are used to fill the void of not having a real plot as apposed to theming an actual interesting narrative.

It's telling that the thing that nearly all battle royales fail in is a decent justification for said battle royale. It's usually flimsy as fuck or really stupid, the smart ones keep it as simple as "you win and you get a wish" and some even manage to fuck that up.
The best ones are usually the least edgy.
