So back when it was airing I had my (51 year old) mother watch Youjo Senki. Turns out she really, really liked it and apparently now is using Tanya as her profile picture for social media stuff and has asked me to get her a Tanya Nendoroid. I'm not sure what to make of that.

So Citrus was... I think there was more kissing in its OP than Sakura Trick's so there's that, but other than that I'm not sure what to think of it. no one is talking about the pop team epic anime? I was wondering how they'd adapt the source since it's pretty nonsensical but they just copied the gags 1:1 which I didn't like. They took the meta-humor too far as well. I enjoyed my watch with Pop Team Epic but i can't help but feel like there needs to be a bit more ground to work with because for an establishing episode it's pretty mixed. To be fair as a french individual i enjoyed that portion a lot. And i preferred the Female VA more than the male in terms of the jokes. I hope things can pick up from here. No lie, i actually cried of laughter at the Chrono Trigger part.

I finished watching Devilman Crybaby and god, [sp]Episode 9 was gut-wrenching[/sp] Loved it

Pop Team Epic is funny and all but the voices are quiet compared to everything else,right?

Holy shit, just started Devilman. I love the fact that [sp]Russian scientist was actually voiced by a Russian Man and holy shit the entire orgy sequence was top tier stuff I haven't seen since 80's anime died[/sp]

Is the Devilman manga better when it comes to Akiras and Ryos characterisation? I still enjoyed Crybaby a lot but it felt like the two could of been a lot better in that regard + the shows pacing (though im probably just being harsh)

not really. it's an early 70's series, so it suffers from that era's style of writing.

I watched all of watamote and wasn't satisfied, it has been a long time since I read manga, now that I've completely exhausted all available material (even the bonus manga) I feel really empty. at least for the next week and 4 days~ till the next chapter releases.

Just finished watching Devilman, guess I'm getting 3 hours of sleep tonight. Episodes 9/10 have no pacing and really should have been divided into 2 more ([sp]although I guess the lose of focus on humans is shown that way[/sp]). Animation quality between great and terrible, although it's weirdness is fitting for the setting, I guess. Plot has no chill and it mood fucking schizophrenic as all hell. Would still recommend and will force my friends to watch it. [editline]7th January 2018[/editline] Gotta finish watching Demon Lord Dante now, I guess. Damn shame that my DVD version is a censored one.
