It was a good way of ending [sp]the relationship drama due to it's open-endedness[/sp], and a good way to end the show in general. I'm sure some weirdos are going to be mad about shipping though.
[sp]Depending on your interpretation, it could range between sisterly to gay love, with enough leeway to leave it open ended. I personally think it's more sister-like love, since they intercut Asuka with Mamiko earlier in this and previous episodes as well as the similar "used to hate/dislike, then love" relationship theme that Kumiko had with Mamiko, but who knows. It doesn't really matter which way though, since regardless it shows Kumiko's growth.[/sp]
[SP]I don't think she means she literally loves her romantically.[/SP] (Hibike 2)
Anyway I'm sad to see it end, while the earlier Mizore arc wasn't very interesting season 2 really picked up steam near the end.
brave witches ending:
[sp]very nice shot of aurora, which fans have cried out for ages, i hope its a sign on things to come in terms of animation, along with the shot of the tank witches from a few episodes back. On the whole I liked the series, I like the different direction SL took it especially in the mid-part. The visuals however were woeful. Hoping the BD improvements give this series what it deserves[/sp]
[sp]atleast hikari was alot less of a mary sue than yoshika, when made her alot better, even if she does apparently have the stamina to run the full length of a rather large lake, at high speed, also while using magic not to sink
the little gun ending it all was good aswell[/sp]

[sp]I'm a bit surprised that Hikari wasn't promoted from Sergeant, considering that not only did she find Grigori's true core, she was also the one to destroy it. Who knows, maybe she will be in season 2.[/sp]

A friend of mine is pledging $800 so he can get his name in the credits.Look for Devil "The Boner Snake" Dante :v:
Just started watching Hetalia dub, its a pretty adorable take on personifying countries and the way they interact with each other.

[sp]well to be fair, she did do what yoshika did, completely ignore orders, yoshika running for the base to play with a neuroi and hikari ignoring transfer orders to help punch a neuroi[/sp]

This is the least KyoAni-looking thing that KyoAni has done in a looong time
Definitely gonna watch that
Nekopara is really popular with gaijins.
There was lways a couple of white guys at the Nekopara booth whenever I pass by it
Im at Comiket and the line is like a kilometer long help
most efficient queue i've ever seen though
most efficient queue i've ever seen though
Queues go by fast but the fucking initial volume of people tho.
Well I did learn about how things are here.
Unless the thing you want to buy is really popular(like Fate),you don't have to join the crazy long lines in the beginning and come a bit later.
Also make sure to bring small folding chairs if you come before 9

Except for the big cheeses, ranks don't matter. Erica wasn't very highly ranked in the 501st but had one of the highest kill counts

Except in the first one [sp]after Miyafuji destroyed the nest she did get a promotion. That's why I was wondering why Hikari didn't.[/sp]

I got my friend who is barely into anime nekopara vol 1 as a joke gift and it was great.
We went through the whole story in the dorms while playing the sound on full volume just to upset our friends who were next door.
nekopara confused me when i read vol.1
it was so fucked up in terms of morals, like everything about it made me go like "what the fuck is this world" because it was just so.. fucked up.
really shows off why we need some kind of restriction on human gene editing to prevent something like that from happening.
It's just some drawings chill

Aaaand a new Fafner installment announced.
How does Xebec keep getting away with this total mecha genre domination?

To be honest this decade hasn't really had terribly strong competition. There's less than five mecha shows that aren't by Xebec that I'd call above average that I can think of.
now let's fund dies irae too!!
Please, remember to support Dies irae too. I still can't believe cat maids are winning so badly over a literal masterpiece of a VN. Sigh, I guess it's fine though. Maybe just maybe Sekai Project might do a PR move to help it out.
At least Light won't do anything, no updates today. So that sucked. At least it's at $110k soon now.. Just need to get to $120k and it should safely be funded.. I hope.
I recently started watching Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, and I was wondering if anyone else here has seen it and what y'all think of it?
So what's the consensus on Brave Witches since people seem to keep talking about it?
So what's the consensus on Brave Witches since people seem to keep talking about it?
if you enjoy strike witches you'll enjoy brave witches, pretty much a back story of the week kind of deal
Also for those interested about Dies irae, it'd be nice if you guys could show the support if not backing it at least give a upvote through Greenlight.

Also, I am not salty about Nekopara's success. Seeing Coconut getting animated is enough to make me rather happy and if it succeeds in having more minutes added to it. I get to see more Coconut. So it's all good.
Well, that's Flip Flappers done.
I think Flip Flappers ultimately would have been better if it was completely episodic, not because the plot episodes were bad, but just because the rest was better and I adore shows with completely different tones and styles each episode. But still, the show ended fine, and while there were a lot of rough edges in the last episode, the animation managed to not fall apart and remained consistently strong the whole way.
9/10, good-ass show.

Exactly, no strong competition, Xebec got a steady income to make mecha shows if they feel like it, the market isn't really interested in mecha shows after the few other studios doing such shows really not finding any success.
Which is surprising since I am not sure Xebec has anyone of their studio members at the industry board for which animes they get to make. But, maybe Fafnir was a great success for them in one way or the other?
flip flappers was great, I will miss it
just like I will miss this thread when I die
