when I started watching anime it was relatively unknown so nobody really had any prejudices against it it was still called japanimation back then. in fact it might have still just been "cartoons" I still think of gup as super recent

From back in the early 2000s? I think I remember this promo specifically because of Outlaw Star or I should say I remember the "Why was I made? Who made me? And what did they make me for?" line.

Plus it has delusions of grandeur and self-importance in a setting where all of the events that occur in Unicorn have been pre-determined to be pretty much irrelevant by series and movies written twenty years earlier. Good animation though. If you're watching it for animation and action, then it's worth a watch, and the plot sort of holds together if you don't think about it at all. Despite what I just said it's decent for a casual viewing. How did you get flack for liking IBO before episode 8 anyway? IBO doesn't really shit the bed until after episode 9 where it becomes obvious that the show isn't going to seize any of its potential, and the second season has been a significant improvement over the first.

Where are you people streaming Little Witch Academia? It's not on Crunchyroll, Funimation, or Daisuki as far as I've looked. MAL doesn't even list a licensor!
