[editline]24th January 2017[/editline] Also LWA is better than I hoped so far, though they could stop shoving Ursula's super twist down our throats.

I have been enjoying Initial D's OST unironically. Help.
I have been enjoying Initial D's OST unironically. Help.
That's the only way anyone enjoys it though
I have been enjoying Initial D's OST unironically. Help.
At what point did you convince yourself that you were only supposed to enjoy it for ironic meme value?
Eurobeat is fuckin' legit, yo Where else can I enjoy a song from a band named "Mad Cow and the Royal Eurobeat Orchestra of Bazookistan"
I finished watching Keijo with a friend. It's blatantly clear that they ran out of money in the last episode.
I have been enjoying Initial D's OST unironically. Help.
Enjoying legitimate music? Damn u sound almost human..... Feel sorry for u..... Everything should only be like ironically

Even after 10 years, this series is still top notch. Hardcore af, especially the doll battle arc http://mangafox.me/manga/karakuri_circus/
Kingdom is the first manga I've read after two years of staying away from the medium, and I have to say that I really like it despite having so many of the tropes that drove me away from the medium. [sp]the bayou arc is definitely the best arc and it's the arc that made me fall in love with the series. Ouki is now one of my favorite characters of all time, I love that even after his death he still has such a huge presence in the series—sign of a well written character I think. I find myself liking Shin too though he often feels like a typical Shounen MC. I think part of what makes him endearing is that he's a typical Shounen MC in a Seinen series. His quirks are much more endearing because they come at such a contrast amidst all the serious blood and gore. Anyway, I started loving him when he challenged Houken as a beaten up dude and still managed to put up a fight. Completely unrealistic and idiotic, but I think that's why he's really likable.[/sp]

How is Spice and Wolf? I've heard lots of good things about it although I've never been much for slice of life and romance anime. Might give it a watch.

Or just start with the Anime. Telling someone to buy the source material for a small fortune right away is silly if they don't even know what it's like.
Or just start with the Anime. Telling someone to buy the source material for a small fortune right away is silly if they don't even know what it's like.
*adjusts glasses* but you gotta get the ORIGINAL material dude you don't understand
You know, Akiba's Trip could've been a shitty ecchi harem. Instead it's literally everything I wanted it to be: focuses on different aspects of otaku obsession instead of just anime otaku, is adequately funny, has a pretty good protagonist and shills the living fuck out of Earphones.
Or just start with the Anime. Telling someone to buy the source material for a small fortune right away is silly if they don't even know what it's like.
But then you resell it for a higher price and now you're fully immersed as Kraft Lawrence

And the merchant stuff is really interesting. It's hard to stop watching because it's so engaging.
Konosuba with the strongest callbacks this week, I fuckin love it

[sp]That was when Holo disappeared and threatened to go with Amarti. Frankly, it was then that I realized that it's a very boring show driven entirely by the interaction between the two main characters. When you remove that interaction, there's nothing interesting left. I finally got through the rest after reddit did a rewatch, but it just lost my interest completely when they removed Holo, and this the banter between her and Lawrence.[/sp]
Is Osomatsu-San worth a watch?
Yeah it's great
At what point did you convince yourself that you were only supposed to enjoy it for ironic meme value?
Well, to be honest, from what little I've seen, I was put off by Initial D's presentation as everyone looked weird and alien, and CG was 90's as fuck. And the fact that Eurobeat, is practically a memegenre of music in most people's consideration. Finally, I didn't care much for the subject of the anime. Still, I might give it a try some time. Music is pulling me in.
Crunchyroll doesn't have the first episode, apparently because of some copyright thing. Did nothing important happen in it?
Copyright issues
Crunchyroll doesn't have the first episode, apparently because of some copyright thing. Did nothing important happen in it?
theres a fucking ton of references to other shows in it at some point (as a joke) and thus isn't up. i dont remember it being really "important" to watch, but it is quite funny.
You must've had a weird release or something.
Just like how I watched Bakemonogatari without any of the songs. Man was I missing out
Didn't expect a Dark souls reference in Maid dragon of all places
