whats good this season
Not including sequels, Acca, Akiba's Trip, Demi-chan, Onihei, and Maid Dragon if you want your moe comedy.
Yeah I can second acca. Pretty nice thriller so far. Lots of theorizing regarding most of type characters intentions
Yeah I can second acca. Pretty nice thriller so far. Lots of theorizing regarding most of type characters intentions
Some people has described it as comfy but how can something be comfy when its also a thriller
Some people has described it as comfy but how can something be comfy when its also a thriller
Because it's about a department inspector going around a kingdom shaped like a bird and doing his job normally instead of breaking down doors and shooting people. So was Jojo the first manga to do the whole hand over face thing? what was the first?
great episode of Acca today. if any of you haven't watched it you should really give it a chance
whats good this season
Demi-chan, Youjo Senki, Kobayashi-san, LWA, Gabriel DropOut
Gabriel DropOut
Gabriel Dropout's outright not awful, but it was a really shallow and mediocre comedy as far as I watched. All of the characters and jokes were extremely face-value and predictable, lacking in any particular depth beyond that. I'm not saying that a simple comedy has to have really three-dimensional characters or anything, but there was never a single joke that I couldn't see coming or predict a mile off. Gabriel's not a tenth as good of a comedic asshole like, say, Momoka from Sabagebu. If Urara didn't exist then Satania would take the award for most generic moeblob of the season. It also bugged me that the premise was very underused. The fact that the characters are angels and devils is more of a background element in a stock high school setting so other than "haha angel is an asshole and the devil is nice" it was barely used at all, and there's little humour on the contrast in their supposed roles because they never actually have to do anything angel or devil related besides inform the audience that they aren't doing their roles correctly. They really could have done a lot more with it. But despite that it's not awful or anything because the humour is extremely safe. It's just painfully average at best unless it suddenly took a massive upswing in quality after I dropped it three episodes in. I couldn't recommend it at all.
its jonathan joestars pose(1987) [t]https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/ba/da/8f/bada8f9689ca9b1cc377e85dd362fcf3.jpg[/t]
So Jojo was the first manga ever to do a pose like that?
i quite liked re:zero at first but it really goes down the toilet at 14/15 [editline]1st February 2017[/editline] also if he gets the elf girl at the end thats gotta be the shitest writing ever, no self respecting hot chick would ever go out with such a pussyhole
Get the book. THE book. http://www.ebay.com/p/Spice-and-Wolf-Anniversary-Collectors-Edition-by-Isuna-Hasekura-2016/228745519 [editline]25th January 2017[/editline] It's easy to read apart from the fact that it's 900+ pages and weighs as much as a newborn
Not going to lie, I've never been one for books. I've tried many times to get in to reading but it just really isn't my thing. I'm more of a visual media fan than anything else. It bums me out because there are lots of books and manga out there that are amazing but I just can't get past 10 pages usually because it isn't animated. I'm not sure if this is because I'm spoiled from animation or if I just really don't care for reading books that much, either way though I generally don't bother. [editline]31st January 2017[/editline]
I didn't think I'd like it either, but it's really good. There are no opening or closing animations; it's just pure plot and no filler. And the merchant stuff is really interesting. It's hard to stop watching because it's so engaging.
No opening or closer, really? That's pretty unusual for an anime. I also love shows that don't include any filler, or at least limit it to the bare minimum. [editline]31st January 2017[/editline]
is it just me or does it annoy others that crunchy has no old shows? a good example is hajime no ippo, why watch new challenger if you never saw the original? questioning if its worth keeping a sub
I'm sure you can find the original online somewhere. Crunchyroll is mostly about new shows as someone said earlier. It's definitely worth being subbed to I think because it supports all the studios I like. [editline]31st January 2017[/editline]
So, I'm almost done watching Mirai Nikki. Great anime, really enjoyed it. But that fucking wuss Yuki. Probably the most pathetic anime character in history. It's disgusting.
I lost interest about half way in. Not really sure why, maybe I should give it a go again. [editline]31st January 2017[/editline]
Well I guess the author is just crazy. Edit: Also Yuki is fucking 14, yet in that one episode we see him driving a car like a pro down a Motorway, how...
Don't you dare point out unrealistic bullshit! Anybody seen Mushishi? I watch it on and off and it is honestly pretty impressive. I love the episodic nature and the mature tone of the stories. The animation style is also very cool and entrances you in to the world.
mushishi is a masterpiece. looking forward to reading it someday.
mushishi is a masterpiece. looking forward to reading it someday.
Ginko is one of my favorite protagonists. His chill attitude regarding nearly everything is how I strive to be.

Onihei [editline]30th January 2017[/editline] Do yourself a favor and catch up on Shouwa Genroku. It's absolutely amazing.
Should I watch the OVA's too for shouwa
its ok i love my moeblobs
Well if you don't feel like having any standards today and just want a full dose of ultra-generic moe you could always just watch Urara Meirochou.
Should I watch the OVA's too for shouwa
They're just the same footage as the start of the TV series, so don't bother with them. The first episode of Rakugo is double-length.

Tsugumomo anime YES [editline]1st February 2017[/editline] watched trailer, this animation looks cheap as fuck, not expecting much from this adaptation
Who would have thought Konosuba was the next mega man
Maid Dragon's episode today was 100% pure, refined diabetes.
