:why:
is it bad? sounds fun from the synopsis
[t]https://fsmedia.imgix.net/92/f4/7f/0e/cfdc/4742/ab01/89b632886369/dragon-ball-super.jpeg?dpr=1.5&auto=format,compress&q=75[/t] I watched the latest episode of DBS the other day which is the first episode of the new Universal Martial Arts Tournament arc and I have to say I'm hyped. I won't lie and say Dragon Ball Super is a bucket of awesome because it is pretty average, but the last tournament arc they had was seriously amazing and I can only imagine this one being even better. Very strong opening episode for the arc as well. It's going to be hard to beat the amazing writing that was [sp]kaio-ken blue[/sp] to be honest. I hadn't fanboyed out over anime in a while but when that was revealed I nearly shit myself. They FINALLY changed out the goddamn opening as well which was very refreshing.
Shingeki no Kyojin 90 damn that was a rollercoaster of emotions [sp]I'm happy they finally got to see the ocean though[/sp]

I just started reading Noise. This should be interesting.
Really cool watching the original Ghost in the Shell movie in a theater. Still as great as I remember it being.
Every week, Dragon Maid is consistently
is it bad? sounds fun from the synopsis
it will be similar to acchi kocchi, a forgettable cheap fluff anime that gets you a smile for a few seconds and then you never remember the joke or scene again
Every week, Dragon Maid is consistently
That's wicked.
it will be similar to acchi kocchi, a forgettable cheap fluff anime that gets you a smile for a few seconds and then you never remember the joke or scene again
If it's anything like Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to, it'll have exactly one joke that it uses over and over and over and wasn't particularly funny in the first place.
If it's anything like Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to, it'll have exactly one joke that it uses over and over and over and wasn't particularly funny in the first place.
that's pretty much it. ha ha, aho-girl likes bananas. ha ha, she's retarded. ha ha x12 eps
I'm enjoying Youjo Senki so far
I'm enjoying Youjo Senki so far
I love the main character. Feels like a nice change of pace compared to the others things this season and in general.
[t]https://ibhuluimcom-a.akamaihd.net/ib.huluim.com/show/20163?region=US&size=952x536[/t] I just finished World Trigger finally yesterday, after putting off the last 15 or so episodes for weeks. I wasn't extremely impressed but I heavily enjoyed watching a longer shonen again (this is my favorite type of anime, long shonen in particular). Frankly it was good enough for me to want to see more but it was average enough that I had a hard time making it through the last episodes. That's actually really about the only thing I have to say about the entire show that everything was just... average. The characters, the animation, the plot. None of it had me drooling at the mouth to see more. But it was alright enough to finish and is I think worth a watch. [t]http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/thumbnails/crop900x350/video/category/796/key_art_serial_experiments_lain.jpg[/t] After perusing through my massive plan to watch list which grows bigger and bigger every time I get on MAL, I've decided to watch Serial Experiments Lain next. Looks like a psychofuck from the images I'm seeing so it should be interesting.

I mean it's one thing to have your shining moment every couple of episodes, it's another entirely to literally be a dead weight to your team for the entirety of the show.

I mean other characters even talk commonly throughout the episodes how he is smart and has talent but needs to do this and needs to do that. Then we get to the end of the 70ish episodes and it really seems like he hasn't improved much at all for shit. I've seen protagonists go through more strategy and skill upping in one episode than Mikumo goes through in the whole show.
You may not get the show the first time you watch it. It's very experimental, though.
Stop the meme of Lain requiring rewatches, it's not true. Lain is not confusing.
You may not get the show the first time you watch it. It's very experimental, though.
I've heard it's pretty confusing. Guess I'll find out. [editline]9th February 2017[/editline] [t]http://thegeekwave.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/occultic_nine_wp.png[/t] I was also already almost done with Occultic;Nine which I thought was pretty interesting. I lost interest for some reason on episode 10 and haven't finished the season until now quite a while later. It's not that I think the anime was bad itself or anything, but I personally just wasn't super into it. My only actual critique related problem with it is that the end seemed kind of lackluster to me. Along the same vein I didn't care for Steins;Gate a whole lot either, although I did enjoy it much like this one. Probably just not my thing. Still going to watch Chaos;Head, Chaos;Child, and Robotics;Notes

Just re-watched a little bit of Psycho-Pass, and afterwards found out that apparently a company makes a fully detailed replica of the Dominator pistol from it. [t]http://i.imgur.com/eT9mDBb.gif[/t] On the other hand, are there any good new-ish cyberpunk anime out worth watching? On a bit of a kick with that genre right now for various reasons.

Is chaos;head a bad adaptation because it's not faithful to the original (but on its own would be a good anime), or is it simply a bad anime with shitty animation and pacing?

I barely remember watching chaos;head some 6-odd years ago and even from my shit tastes back then, I still thought it was shit.
