So I got somewhat excited that some kind of offshoot of Hunter X hunter was released.
But something looked off. The title reminded me of something.
I read, it was countryside, there was a guy who looked like the fellow who was taking over the hunter organisation.
There's Gon and his mother, I don't know why they're together, in this countryside, since he lives on an island.
Oh, that guy's not who I thought, he's Hisoka

Ok, good point to come clean: I had already marathoned all six episodes available in the three hours prior to making that post, but I wanted to know how well recommended it would come anyway.

Noah has more content but (as far as I know) hasn't been translated so you're stuck with the original either way.

It's one of the greatest pieces of art I've experienced in the last year tbh. The horrible and tragic world they live in not only makes me hate myself whenever I laugh, but it justifies the madness the characters have that makes me laugh so much in the first place.
It's modern Shakespeare, I swear. I still stand by that Romeo and Juliet is a tragic comedy (modern usage of the word comedy), just look at Titus Andronicus. And Fire Punch embodies the same kind of satirical tragic comedy.
