although sunrise has been releasing eng gundam BDs lately so one will prob come out soon
I just finished watching all of G Gundam. It was extremely schlocky, but the type of schlock that I love.
The fact that (ending)[sp]the day was saved by the power of love[/sp]put a dumb grin on my face.
Anime strike has a ton of shows this season. looks like amazon is serious in competing with CR
fucks with people not willing to sub to two different places just to get the shows they want
I am intrigued.
Though I have yet to hear feedback on their service, the quality, the bitrate and translation quality. Hopefully they're better, sucks that it will be regionlocked for NA only. But, I guess that's the whole market anyways these days. Kinda sucks.
Also the price tag is ridiculous $140 yearly + $15 /each month. They better have a good selection with that price tag.
It's regionlocked for NA only because only NA has to pay for Anime Strike.
Here in the UK I can watch Anime Strike shows for free* via Amazon because we don't have to deal with it. NA is getting fucked, basically.
*no additional fee for anime strike

That's ridiculous, so all the shows are free to watch as Amazon Prime in other countries while America has to pay $5 extra for this? Incredible.
Amazon Strike has access to some of the anime that isn't included with Prime to my memory, but all the simulcasts are Prime in the UK.
Except Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism apparently. I can't find that. Maybe they're actually not giving us the simulcasts as of this season until later on. Or maybe I'm blind.
[editline]6th April 2017[/editline]
Can confirm that we have none of the currently aired seasonal simulcasts from this season.
So now everyone's getting fucked. US has to pay, we don't have them at all.

It's all back to the Funimation era, baby.
Instead of having Funimation fight vs Crunchyroll. We now have a situation where one of the biggest companies around can just laugh and buy up licenses and they will regionlock the shows just for the US market while giving a terrible deal all around for the US market as well.
The worst thing is that Amazon will not "give in" like Funimation did.
anime strike essentially doubling the amazon prime fee for the US is pretty bullshit.
Oh, so that's why Rage of Bahamut didn't show up on the funimation simuldub list. Guess amazon could bid more money on it.

At least the Japanese FAVAAROOOOOOOOOOOOO was good.
anime strike essentially doubling the amazon prime fee for the US is pretty bullshit.
It also brings the market right back to the time before Funimation and Crunchyroll became friends. The market had just started to become a global market not locked down by petty barriers.
But then again here we are with Amazon coming in to again disrupt the trend that Crunchyroll was starting after Funimation had called quits.
It's infuriating, not only for the US due to the higher cost of having both Prime and $5 for Anime Strike. It also brings anime shows outside of US back to a horrendous number once again.
Frame arms girl felt like a 22 minute commercial to me tbh. I mean there was even a part where you were instructed on the do's and don'ts of assembling the figurines.

That's literally what it is tho
Cuckwork Planet is already a let down. I mean, I'll watch it because I'm not picky when it comes to robots, but I won't be happy about it.

If you wanna give it a try, I recommend the LN or manga as they're both considerably better and the art style is obviously better. Especially when the episode cuts out 3/4's of the first chapter, and intends to introduce the send automata within 12 episodes.
Also related to robots, watch Frame Arms Girls.

It's fun.
Someone compiled the MAL score progressions over the last season. It's crazy seeing Kemono Friends go from a 4.54 at the start of the season to a 7.81 at the end. Maybe I should actually go watch it.

G Gundam was the shit growing up! I found myself enjoying this than Gundam Wing. Sucks that Domon's English VA quit to become a doctor. He's the the ultimate ham that we lost way too soon.
I also liked the idea that you could pilot the Mobile Suits via a well, suit where the computers scan and map your movements to a T. The only thing that bugged me was how they would jump.
I hope the Blu Ray DVD's come out soon.

Build Fighters season 1 was good
Renai Boukun is a high speed mess that just kept piling shit on, I think I like it so far?

I don't see how it "felt like it" to you when it was completely blatant and up-front about being an ad in every way possible, including the fucking God Hand shilling.
Doesn't make it any worse, that much I can tell you.

New Ghost in the Shell Anime has been green-lit
Boruto's first episode has some money put into it. I ain't gonna lie, I was practically wanking to the smooth parkour sequence at the beginning.

Cardcaptor Sakura dub did nothing wrong!
from my experience, every dub in existence did something wrong
usually everything
The Hayate's ending is so disappointing imo
Now I hope the author would add some extras in the tankoubon
The ending is not bad and conclude pretty much everything(except for one), but I feel like its really rushed and could have used more time.
[sp]WHERE IS MARIA[/sp]
new Berserk started today with 2 episodes
holy shit they actually improved it, it's actually watchable now
i have finished ttgl. after what seems like half a year of people saying "WATCH TTGL," the meme is now obsolete. i will be back in the discord.
ttgl was great, 9/10. i have one question that is quite important: [sp]in the part where the anti-spiral dude that was really powerful and was covered in black, he trapped the team in the space between dimensions or in infinite universes or some shit like that. so how did they get out of there?[/sp]
Re:Creators
I expected more mecha. Not magic girls flying around with rocket launchers and swords.

[sp]They realized they lived in a perfect world, and decided living a perfect dream is not worth it. Life isn't perfect, but you have to do as much as you can to make the best of it. It pretty much comes down to their fighting spirit saying fuck you and just breaking out of it by sheer willpower alone.[/sp]
