So Your Name has a full theatrical release at Cineplex in Canada. Like, it's in theatres all next week at least, in multiple locations. However, while Cineplex has pages for Koe no Katachi and Kizu Part 2, they don't have release dates for them yet, and they don't even have a page for Kizu part 3.

the music was nice
The overbearingly Sawano music hurt the show in my opinion. It was inoffensively generic Sawano for most of it, merely bland and unmemorable, but when they started having the big fight near the end the music was disproportionately dramatic relative to what was happening which just made the scene ridiculous.
Fell in love with the music. Thinking about buying the soundtrack.
:dogwow:
You forgot the best one of them all.

Is Your Name still worth watching if you're not into love stories?
How good is the english dub for Your Name? Is it good enough to consider it over the subs?
Edit: too late
Oh man, LWA has suddenly gone places. The super crisp UI stuff was a really strong contrast to the rest of the art style. I'm very excited to see where this story will go
New OP and ED are great too
I picked up Bakemonogatari and I really like it so far. Once I finish that should I watch the rest of the series in chronological order or continue watching in release order?

release order
[editline]10th April 2017[/editline]
you already messed up your chronological order anyway
release order
Is that cause I messed up the chronological order or is release order actually better?
Release order is the way to watch it.
But chronologically Kizumonogatari is the first one
Is that cause I messed up the chronological order or is release order actually better?
release order is always better regardless of what the internet tells you

Unless it's Haruhi, I really don't like it's airing order at all.

even haruhi, including not skipping any of endless 8
If you guys haven't read that Danganronpa spinoff about the killer killer don't bother it has nothing new to add to DR2 or DR3 and is a waste of time. The ending is dumb too.

It was a pretty great first episode, nice to have some traditional fantasy that isn't an awful mobage tie-in.
The more I think about some plot point in Your Name, the more I agree with the director that it still isn't fully completed.
First being the [sp]deleted calendar messages from Takechi's phone.[/sp]
Second being the [sp]twilight explanation, where they somehow appeared next to each other regardless.[/sp]
The string I get since it's a part of her. The sake I also get. But they could at least say, [sp]"When it's twilight and you may find your whole self nearby."[/sp]
Also, I assume her notebook filled with [sp]Takechi's writings have been destroyed by the plot device?[/sp]
Looking too far into it since those are some confusing moments that basically amounts up to [sp]"fuck you, it's magic."[/sp]
[sp]Time travel is always going to be a can of worms. The further you analyse, the more holes you're going to find. Usually, I just apply Steins;Gate rules to any time travel anime that has slack to pick up.[/sp] And here it's not the usual "up to interpretation" hand-waving, it's too big to be considered anything but lazy.
Your name spoilers [sp]The time travel in Your Name is literally just magic to advance the plot with absolutely no thought put into it, but it's not even really a time travel movie as it's more concerned with other plot points.[/sp]
"Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?"
Longest title for an anime I have ever seen. It has replaced my craving for dragon maids.
So what's worth watching this season (besides SnK and My Hero Academia)?
So what's worth watching this season (besides SnK and My Hero Academia)?
Bananya
Silly Ninny, Bananya is not a show from this season

The snack world
So what's worth watching this season (besides SnK and My Hero Academia)?
the prequels for literally like every other sequel stuff this season

Uchouten Kazoku in particular
literally do yourself a favor and literally watch it right now
So what's worth watching this season (besides SnK and My Hero Academia)?
I wasn't a fan of Akashic Records's first episode, I know some people liked it, but by the second episode even I enjoyed it a lot.
A heads up, if you ever wanted to watch ID-0 but didn't want to bother with netflix releasing it three months later, the subs for the first episode are up at the usual place.

How the hell can you remember that kind of name? Even if I'm Japanese, would I remember it? Why does it sound so generic?

you don't have to, everyone calls it sukasuka
it's easier to remember stupid long names like that if you have at least some grasp on japanese. mine's rusty but it means something like "what are you doing at the end of the world? are you busy? can you save us?"
