Im calling it now though, by the end of Defenders, some variation on Heroes for Hire will be established. And i swear to god if that happens and Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist arent combined into one Heroes For Hire show im going to be fucking pissed. [editline]8th October 2016[/editline]
Please be Ma Gnucci
Why would you waste Ma Gnucci on The Defenders? She needs to get a deep, long, hard Franking.
I hope Luke and Jessica get together because having both of them combined into one show would be dope.
I hope Luke and Jessica get together because having both of them combined into one show would be dope.
Luke, Jessica, and Iron Fist. Have Luke, Jessica, Danny, and Misty be The Heroes For Hire. Keep production costs down since it'd be one show and make everyone happy because it'd be the Heroes for Hire. Especially when they kept teasing the shit out of it in Luke Cage and JJ.
Makes more sense in the TV universe to have Luke and Jessica pair off and then have Danny/Matt pair off too to fight the Hand, and then just have Frank cook fools on the side.

He's not in the Defenders.
Willing to bet Punisher will pop up once or twice in The Defenders.
All I want in future Netflix series' is "the Frank Episode". Murdock is tracking down a shipment of guns and narcotics being smuggled into Hells Kitchen, he arrives and is about to spring into action when half the convoy blows the fuck up and the War van streaks across the street and pancakes some gun-runner. Luke is busting some people on a protection racket, he throws the guys through a window and wraps a lamp-post around them, holding them inplace until the police can come. While he's checking that the building-owners are okay, he hears four gunshots. The guys outside are all dead and the War-van speeds away. beep beep!
He's not in the Defenders.
That's a shame.
Eh, the Punisher doesn't really belong with any superheroes, especially not some major team up. The only reason he was in DD S2 because it was a golden opportunity to introduce the character into MCU.
That just reminded me of this very brief team-up :v:

Im only correcting you because i love the name Battle Van. Its so stupid. I mean, sure the characters branched off into a grittier, more real crime level adventure river, but he was still introduced as a Spider-Man villain and his conflicts with Daredevil are pretty cool.
The list of people Frank can stand for more than five minutes: Luke Cage Wolverine Midnight Sons Danny Ketch Black Widow Micro As we can see from such an exhaustive rollout, the possibilities are endless.

We both know that's the route they should go anyway, simply because of the amount of work it can produce for them, and it's a closed loop storyline, so it's pretty much tailor made for Netflix.
I'd like a Moon Knight show too tbh.
So I kinda want to get into Doctor Strange, but I want to cover read it from the very start. Is there a series of graphic novels maybe or do I have to get individual comics. Can I get a pointer in the right direction?

[editline]9th October 2016[/editline] https://www.amazon.com/Doctor-Strange-Omnibus-Vol-1/dp/0785199241 Theres this Omnibus of the original Strange Tales run with Ditko, roughly 40 issues. You should also check out Doctor Strange / Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment, which personally just pisses me off that Doom isnt in the MCU yet because it'd make a killer movie.
Does Essential Doctor Strange even exist [editline]10th October 2016[/editline] I'll be damned essential doctor strange does exist [editline]10th October 2016[/editline]
https://www.amazon.com/Doctor-Strange-Omnibus-Vol-1/dp/0785199241 Theres this Omnibus of the original Strange Tales run with Ditko, roughly 40 issues. We've gone full Ditko
damn, nice.
That looks incredible. JUST ONE MONTH AWAY
Just finished Luke Cage and I gotta say it had the corniest writing out of all the Marvel Netflix shows but it also had some really well written characters. I'm glad [sp]cancer and aids were brought up during that conversation after Claire took the shrapnel off Luke. I always wanted to see this kind of discussion on super hero movies/shows, like how the existence of enhanced people could help or not real world issues[/sp] The show made me excited for Defenders. Jessica, Daredevil, Luke, Iron Fist, Claire, Sigourney Weaver as a villain, all in a single show. Also the scenes with musical performaces at Harlem's Paradise were amazing
Finally finished Luke Cage. I really like all the characters, but the story was pretty weak, and [sp]the shift towards Diamondback at the end[/sp]was a mistake, I think. Mostly it didn't feel like there was any tension. No one could stand up to Cage in a fight, which is fun once or twice, but not a bunch of times in the row. There just wasn't good escalation. Mariah had some pretty good ideas on how to deal with him, but no one listened to her. [sp]In the end, we just got Diamondback with a bigger bullet. His supersuit in the final episode was great though. I think maybe he should've been a problem solver Cottonmouth brought in earlier instead. And I know it's comic-accurate-ish, but Diamondback's link to Luke was way out of left field and unbelieveable.[/sp] I am looking forward to more, though. Maybe instead of season twos of Luke Cage and Iron Fist, we'll get a season of Heroes for Hire and Daughters of the Dragon?
That looks incredible. JUST ONE MONTH AWAY
Funny you should say that. I'm going to an advanced screening on oct 30
Don't know if it's been posted but, the mid-credit/post-credit scene Doctor Strange has been reportedly leaked: pretty big spoilers, the site I got them from were requested to remove them by Disney so I'm just going to say it. CREDIT SCENE SPOILERS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR DOCTOR STRANGE READ AT OWN RISK [sp] The mid credit scene is Doctor Strange inviting Thor to the Sanctum Sanctorum to get the lowdown on Loki. With Strange's mission to rid the world of mystical threats he agrees he wants to get rid of the asgardians. Thor says he needs Loki's help to find Odin. Strange agrees to help him find Loki/Odin, on one condition. That condition being that they leave Earth for good. This sets up Ragnarok. The post credit scene is from a character we meet in the film who is not a super hero, but was able to use the mystical arts to heal paralysis. Baron Mordo rips out and absorbs that mans powers saying that there are "Too many sorcerers". Even though he seems to be an ally of Strange for most of the film, this after credit scene shows him going to the bad side. So that probably leads into him being a villain alongside Thanos in Avengers or a Doctor Strange sequel. [/sp]
Luke Cage is confusing me. [sp]Luke meets Diamondback, who is supposedly his brother, Stryker. Diamondback stalks Luke, shoots him once, and they fight in a movie theater. Diamondback shoots Luke again and intentionally leaves Luke's body in a garbage truck and leaves. Next episode. Nobody knows where Luke is. Shades is trying to find Luke. Stryker comes in and tells everyone that Luke is no magician and couldn't have gotten far.[/sp] What the fuck? [sp]Cottonmouth pushes guns for Diamondback. Shades orchestrates the death of Cottonmouth. Diamondback accuses him of trying to usurp power for himself. Shades then goes and tells Mariah that because Cottonmouth is no longer selling guns, there's going to be a vacuum. Somebody else needs to buy guns from Diamondback and distribute them in Cottonmouth's stead. Shades tells Mariah that she needs to call a meeting of all the major gang heads, so that they can discuss moving guns in Cottonmouth's old territory so that the underworld doesn't collapse in Harlem. They arrive at the meeting to discuss selling Diamondback's guns. Diamondback arrives and murders everyone for attempting to sell Diamondback's guns purchased from Diamondback because Diamondback doesn't tolerate competition. Shades orchestrated this whole thing because he knew that Mariah would propose selling to the cops, because state entities routinely buy from illegal gun runners.[/sp] I'm lost.
