Beta Ray Bill.

Beta Ray Bill

BETA RAY FUCKING BILL

-
You could use Beta Ray Bill forever because he's an inhuman horse alien boy so you could just keep recasting him. Just do it, Marvel. Give me the thorse.
They absolutely nailed it with the Thor/Banner banter

If Thor dies in the future just replace him with horse man
I thoroughly enjoyed Ragnarok. About the only part where it was weak was the plot itself by not being anything special, but how they actually did that plot was still very good so it doesn't really drag the movie down. I mentioned in the movie review thread that, to me, it felt like they wanted to do this more in the style of Guardians of the Galaxy. Especially the opening action scene, that was so clearly them going for the Guardians style (in particular it made me think of Yondu controlling his arrow in those movies.) Frankly this and Guardians 2 both seem like Marvel Studios showing off that they can do more than just the Iron Man/Captain America style.
I dunno, I thought Thor was okay. It was entertaining, and anytime Immigrant Song plays does really get you fucking pumped up. But I thought it was maybe ... too funny? I mean, I'd rather comedy pulled off well than seriousness done badly, but there were a lot of moments that lost all the gravity and stakes because of all the jokes in every scene. And in that way, it did feel a lot like GoG vol.2, and I didn't really much care for it there either. But that's just me.
[sp]I was actually hoping for Thor to be floating out in space like in the Infinity war trailer, since Asgard got blown to smithereens. But if sequel for Raganork to comfirm that. At the end, it would either seem the Asgurdians are going to meet the Kree or something and meet up with Captain Marvel?[/sp] It just confused me.
Just saw Thor: Ragnarok. If it didn't have the funny scenes this would be pretty boring generic Marvel movie. Especially every time the movie switched to the villain I was bored. Also are the second after credits scenes just trolling now?

Kevin Feige already confirmed that it's Thanos' ship. I suspect that the beginning of Infinity War will play out like this: Thor uses all his power to help the Asgardians escape, but Thanos manages to capture him and Heimdall. Thanos kills Heimdall and takes his infinity stone, and after being tortured Thor somehow ends up floating in space and is eventually found by the Guardians of the Galaxy.[/sp]
Just saw Thor, and I've got to say my favorite comedy bit was[sp]the asgardian play where the film basically shits all over The Dark World.[/sp]I mean, I liked the previous film for what it was, but it definitely qualities as a guilty pleasure, especially now that Ragnarok proves a good Thor film is actually possible.
Literally the only scene I like in The Dark World is when the elves attack Asgard. I thought the play was funny as hell. And with [sp]Matt Damon,[/sp] it will surely kill at the Asgardian Oscars...
I would spoiler the cameo. Edit: I'm retarded
I would spoiler the cameo.
Done, but you've quoted it.
Holy shit I didn't even recognize him.
[sp] Thor was played by Luke Hemsworth, Loki by Matt Damon and Odin by Sam Neill [/sp]
[sp] Thor was played by Luke Hemsworth, Loki by Matt Damon and Odin by Sam Neill [/sp]
[sp]Damon was easily recognizable, Luke Hemsworth I don't know but it's funny it's in fact his brother. Sam Neill, if I didn't know to look out for him I wouldn't recognize him under the beard.[/sp]
yea literally all those cameos went right over my head lol. was surprised as fuck when I was looking at the IMDB cast listing later. i am not very observant. o also ye gr8 movie, loved it
[sp]fucking Korg tho, rock guy stole the show[/sp] also [sp]hela was smoking hot at the end, she was on fire i tell ya.[/sp]
Thor 3 was fucking incredible, the trailers had set high expectations in terms of visual spectacle and I'm glad they delivered. Pretty interesting how they actually pulled a lot of fakeouts in the trailers to preserve the narrative integrity of some of the more important scenes [sp]like Thor having both of his eyes in the trailer and the hammer being broken in some random back-alley instead of the Norwegian coast[/sp] which I thought was pretty clever. I'm also really glad Marvel is somewhat stepping away from boring orchestral music. It's definitely working in their favor. Hearing Magic Sword in the trailers was one good surprise and hearing Led Zeppelin in the film itself was unexpected and cool. [sp]The track was also an excellent choice in regards to its name and lyrics basically being foreshadowing to the plot of the film.[/sp] The score which was specifically composed for the film has some good tracks on its merit as well. Chris Hemsworth is excellent as Thor but the previous character-centric films didn't really give him much to shine, this one did. Taika Waititi's a fucking good director.

On one hand, all of Marvel finally reunited. On the other, potentially no more R rated Marvel films unless they give serious thought to putting some out under Touchstone.
There will be no R rated anything under Disney until saturation fatigue hits in about five years and then only under specific circumstances, and you can kiss most of the FX product line goodbye as well; the only reason Fox is even allowing experimental shit is the enh success ratio on Apocalypse and much better success ratio of Logan and Deadpool. Disney wouldn't give a shit about that until people start getting wise to their brand of bullshit, which everyone conveniently has amnesia about every time Disney releases something big.
I think I might gladly give up r-rated X-men films for a full MCU, at least for a few years. You know, i know i should be concerned over Disney's continued marching towards being an all consuming megacorporation, but i cant help but enjoy immense schadenfreude at how Ike Perlmutters Inhumans crusade was a complete failure and now the MCU will (likely) get to use the immense cash cow known as the X-Men while Ike pushed the entire studio away out from under his control because of those same rights. Its more a question of if its profitable or not. Depending on when this deal is finalized, they could end up being responsible for distributing Deadpool 2.
You would actually find it pretty shocking how much Disney secretly owns or has its money flowing through. Even iDubbbz is technically "owned" by Disney. I was surprised to hear they were making their own Netflix instead of just outright buying the company. [editline]6th November 2017[/editline] They mostly do this alternate branding to avoid confusion and so people know what to expect. Disney animation is different from Disney-Pixar and some people still don't realize that now that Disney does CG. Disney maintains a lot of different labels to cultivate a brand that people can see and say "Oh here's what we'll be able to expect". Even Marvel and Lucasfilm are among these. [editline]6th November 2017[/editline] My theory personally is that they'll buy Fox, only touch what they actually wanted such as any remaining Marvel/Star Wars (yes fox still has some star wars rights) and mostly leave the rest functioning as normal like a puppet state. They pretty much already did this to Marvel. They don't really touch the comic side much.

Your premise has no weight. The only Disney holding producing anything resembling "r rated" content is marvel comics and three shows on ABC, two of which are ending in a year.
