Where did you hear that Homecoming is set in 2020 doesn't make sense since it's set few months after civil war
Did you follow the whole MCU timeline thing when Homecoming was released?
As AaronM202 has already mentioned, Homecoming is set up to take place 8 years after the Battle of New York, it says so in the film, after the flashback.
Shit, I forgot that the most popular theory right now places Avengers in 09/10, and thus Homecoming in 2017, making Age of Ultron taking place in 2015 and Ragnarok 2 years later a possibility. Basically, I'm dumb

Nah, its 2020.
They gotta keep Peter in school for awhile.
Iron Man, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2, and The Avengers.
Winter Soldier is glorious, but [sp]that ending is such a shame. How I wish it ended with a small fight instead of the CGIfest we got.[/sp]
Winter Soldier
Negro, please.
It's a great "road movie" and a fun ride, it is not even in the same ballpark as Winter Soldier. Frankly nothing else in the Marvel catalog is, though Civil War does have some pretty great moments. If anything, Ragnarok shows the cracks in the formula while managing to spackle them together decently.

Granted, after Thor: Ragnarok I made a vow not to watch any other Marvel movie and wait straight till the The Infinity Wars duology, but is there a particular reason they didn't give Ulysses Klaw, well, A FUCKING CLAW?
He has a blaster hand in one of the previews, I'm sure a claw will be in there somewhere.
They really shouldn't have said the kid in Iron Man 2 was Peter, it fucks up everything

I don't remember Klaw ever having a claw, though? Granted, the only comic I read with him in it was Secret Wars, but every pic I can find of the character shows him with the laser beam thingy he's always had
[editline]9th November 2017[/editline]
ok nvm he's had a claw here and there

Honestly, it really doesnt, its everything else mentioned about the timeline that really fucks it up.
So I was kind of disappointed we never got to see this in Ragnarok (does it count as a spoiler? I don't know, honestly)

Well the trailers did show [sp]the hammer getting destroyed in a back alley[/sp] so maybe they made two versions of that same scene and then decided on the [sp]Norway variant[/sp] because it looked cooler

Here's an article about the reshoots
http://www.slashfilm.com/thor-ragnarok-reshoot/
So it wasn't just a CGI background swap, they also shot new scenes [sp]I assume the dialogue scenes with Odin, where he figured out Loki tricked him on his own a long time ago, and was just chilling waiting for his demise. Gotta say, the Odin aspect is pretty weak in this film. I know there was already too much stuff in the movie, but it's still a bit dissapointing. They opened an interesting can of worms regarding Odin's legacy, how he achieved what he achieved - but then had to drop it since it was almost the climax of the movie[/sp].
Opening of Homecoming sets it as 8 years after Avengers and Peter was apparently the kid in Iron Man 2 via retcon.
That was later retracted and confirmed as not having actually been canon, I think.
Ragnarok reminded me how much I fucking love Led Zeppelin III. When the song ended [sp]the second time it played[/sp], I countinued to sing "Friends" in my head while the movie went on

Man, that's really, really meant to be a discount Star-Lord
That really does not look as good as last season, I hope the previous one wasn't just a fluke.
Last season didn't look that great either at the beginning.
3 great seasons in a row, no reason to doubt now.
This has probably been posted before, but just in case it hasn't:

Yea that trailer is hopefully just not doing this season justice.
After an incredible season 4 it would be hard to match it. Definitely hope it's good though.
Saw Thor 3 today, it was god damn awesome but..
[sp] Hela isn't dead.. right? I really want her to be Death and for Thanos to be crazy for her. Plus she's cool and really needs more screen time. [/sp]

Ew, why?
[sp]Skeleton titties or bust.[/sp]
[editline]11th November 2017[/editline]
Plus, in general, that just wouldnt really work at all.
[sp]The people who suggest Hela be the Death that Thanos tries to court are SEVERELY underestimating the actual scope and scale of said Death and how Thanos tries to court her. The Death he's trying to court, first off, is the literal personification of the metaphysical concept of death, NOT a death god (ie a powerful being who has dominion over death to varying limited scopes, but never the less can only manipulate it), as in, Death, Lady Death, the one who Thanos wants, is a sentient force of nature that if killed will cause the universe to fucking break completely. She's the living concept of death itself. This is also why he uses the Infinity Gauntlet to begin with, to keep escalating his shows of affection, up to and including erasing half of the universe's entire population with a finger snap to try and win her.
Hela is as small time as Daredevil in comparison to what Thanos is after.[/sp]
I enjoyed Hela in the movie and I hope she returns for other stuff
So, I just finished Inhumans.
It was bad. :saddowns:
just saw [del]ragnarok[/del] Thor & Loki's Bogus Adventure, I fucking loved it. Maybe favorite MCU movie. The flow of the comedy parts were great, unlike marvels previous attempts at humor. And, I love how much they adopted from [sp]planet hulk[/sp]. That shit was great.
