I need to finally give up and realize that the rest of the world really likes Marvel Studios' brand of humor while I'm the only person on Earth who finds it obnoxious, uninspired and distracting. And in my opinion it gets worse on each new release

I dont entirely disagree.
The Whedonisms are kind of fucking annoying sometimes, like when they call Vulture the "Flying Vulture Guy", instead of just calling him the god damn Vulture.

MCU humour is mostly shite but Thor 3 felt different to me.
I've found Agent's of Shield to be convoluted and disconnected from the MCU since the beginning of season 2. Season 1 had Nick Fury, a in tie with Winter Soldier, an over arching plot that was easy to follow and an ending that suited the series, it felt like it really was part of the MCU. The other seasons had some inhumans and a convoluted story about the remains of hydra and the Darkhold, it seemed like they were making it up as then went along, then [sp]Fitz turned evil, Ward is shoehorned back in and good for no real reason[/sp]. Can't they put Spiderman in one of the episodes or at least something other than vague references like "remember when Ultron did stuff and then the avengers split up"?
The CWverse isn't amazedly written but at least it can hold my attention long the last AoS series.
But doesn't Ragnarok lead straight into Infinity War, which has to take place shortly after Homecoming, which is in 2020?
Just found it's confirmed to be set during Civil War - [sp]so I guess screw that post-credits scene? Unless they're planning to begin Infinity War with Thor being separated from the Asgard ship and spending a couple of fucking years in space[/sp]
I mean, Asgard isn't exactly in our solar system, and traveling by ship will take a while...
[sp]The people who suggest Hela be the Death that Thanos tries to court are SEVERELY underestimating the actual scope and scale of said Death and how Thanos tries to court her. The Death he's trying to court, first off, is the literal personification of the metaphysical concept of death, NOT a death god (ie a powerful being who has dominion over death to varying limited scopes, but never the less can only manipulate it), as in, Death, Lady Death, the one who Thanos wants, is a sentient force of nature that if killed will cause the universe to fucking break completely. She's the living concept of death itself. This is also why he uses the Infinity Gauntlet to begin with, to keep escalating his shows of affection, up to and including erasing half of the universe's entire population with a finger snap to try and win her.
Hela is as small time as Daredevil in comparison to what Thanos is after.[/sp]
That scale of power is boring and usually badly written, I hope it doesn't get included in the MCU.

What?
Then whats even the point of the infinity gauntlet?
The story just doesnt work unless its literally universe-scaled.
The ending of Inhumans was simultaneously the best episode of the show and one of the worst TV finales I've seen. It actually felt like a TV show, but boy that ending is unsatisfying.
Inhumans hasn't been renewed has it?
Upcoming blu-ray set is entitled as the "Complete Series" rather than "Season 1" or w/e.
So nope.
Thank god
Inhumans hasn't been renewed has it?
It was always supposed to be a miniseries, wasn't it?
It was always supposed to be a miniseries, wasn't it?
It was originally supposed to be a full feature movie and then got downgraded to a tv series
I thought it was cancelled before it aired?
I thought it was cancelled before it aired?
Its been listed as the "Complete Series" since before it aired, yeah.
The finale did have some cliffhanger elements, so there is set up for a second season, but I don't see it happening.
THE INHUMANS WILL RETURN IN AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
Isn't there supposed to be overlap with Agents of SHIELD? If so they could totally just wrap up loose ends there. Definitely not ideal but I could that happening.
After watching Thor Ragnarok, this painting in Mission Breakout makes so much more sense

Thor was pretty fantastic.
My only question is, [sp]who was that huge ship that found the Asgard ship at the mid credits?[/sp]
Also, will [sp]Asgard settle in Oklahoma?[/sp] :v:

[sp]99% sure that's Thanos coming to wreck shit because Loki owes him an infinity stone[/sp]

[Sp]Confirmed as Sanctuary II, Thanos personal ship and probably in Norway instead, back where Odin died and told Thor in a vision Asgard could be.[/sp]

[sp]He definitely could not resist taking the Tesseract before leaving Asgard, and its presence outside of the vault must've set off some sort of detection[/sp]

Nigga you owe me four stones, not one or two or three but four, four stone; four crates
OK
I don't think we're gonna see grumpy Thor again considering ratings and sales, two movies of grumpy Thor were solidly meh.
I forgot The Punisher comes out this Friday.
Apparently the embargo lifted today for reviews and Forbes said it was the best MCU show ever.
The other reviews found said it was good, but did not make the claim of being the best MCU show.
Still good to hear after the last couple netflix series being meh

So that means its probably a little less than Daredevil Season 1?
When Banner [sp]jumped from the ship and landed in a bloody heap, do you think that killed him? He was talking about possibly not being able to turn back[/sp]
Jesus christ this scene reminds me how gray Mark Ruffalo has gotten since 2012
Sony is developing a new Marvel Comics movie based on the Spider-Man villain and antihero, Morbius the Living Vampire.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Power Rangers writers Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama have recently submitted a script for the movie, simply titled Morbius, to Sony after a secret development process.
The character, named Dr. Michael Morbius, was created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gil Kane, and first appeared in 1963's Amazing Spider-Man #101. Morbius is a scientist suffering from a rare blood disease who, after attempting to cure himself, becomes afflicted with a form of vampirism.
The character has fought Spider-Man on several occasions and also became a slightly heroic character.
:what:
