5 episodes in I am enjoying Frank and Micro's banter.
Infinity War trailer when?
Infinity War trailer when?
Star Wars
Had to call it quits 4 eps in. Its not terrible but its not good either. The shit really drags in parts and the new characters(not Micro tho) are dull and boring. The VFX and gun choreography are also Iron Fist tier which doesn't help at all. 13 eps at this rate is gonna be a doozy.
I really disagree, only watched 3 episodes so far but I am really enjoying it so far, probably my favourite Netflix Marvel show, other than the first season of Daredevil
Star Wars
I don't understand
I don't understand
It's a series of movies about incest and sand sandcest
I don't understand
It might be in front of Star Wars.
I really disagree, only watched 3 episodes so far but I am really enjoying it so far, probably my favourite Netflix Marvel show, other than the first season of Daredevil
I started over with a good nights sleep. Initially I planned to stay up and binge it in one sitting like every other Marvel show(hell I managed to survive IF :v:). On a second viewing I take back most of what I said. VFX and choreography are still lacking but thats a minor nitpick. It seems I bowed out right when the things I wanted to see started happening. As soon as [sp]micro and frank took a trip to kentucky I was hooked.[/sp]
question; I've been too busy to watch punisher, but does Frank narrate at all? it's unwritten law that he narrates himself in any piece of media he appears in
I've seen paint dry with more excitement that this agent woman puts into her acting.
I got three episodes in then stopped. Feels kind of played out and aimless. Another marvel show that would be half as long if the protag could stop brooding and say a few words. I wish Marvel would stop doing the thing where they kill all of a character's development then just have them even more sad and mopy than normal until the end of episode 1's "I'm still spiderman" moment. Holy shit it's annoying.
More IW leaks, this time with russian descriptions of lego sets https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelstudios/comments/7dx6iz/potential_infinity_war_spoilers_descriptions_of_6/?st=ja64rpep&sh=8edc16a7 [sp] Wonder why Wakanda is getting alot of focus? Soul stone maybe?[/sp]
Just finished the Punisher, it was good. Better then Iron Fist for sure. Wish It had a bit more Punishing and less of a revenge plot.
Just finished the Punisher, it was good. Better then Iron Fist for sure. Wish It had a bit more Punishing and less of a revenge plot.
I'm only on episode 5 and so far it seems the show begins the moment the good shit ends.
I'm at the end of episode 4 and the whole side shit with the lady agent and the agent that looks like ethan from h3h3 is some of the most generic boring run of the mill "agent work" I've ever seen, Do they ever get better?

Yeah the middle of the season got kind of boring, and they focused too much on the side characters. I personally was really getting tired of the jar head vet guy. But it does all start to come together around episode 8. I'd say the last 2 episodes are the most satisfying of any Netflix Marvel stuff.
Honestly you can just skip over 95% of the homeland security sideplot and miss nothing.
10/10 show, could've used some more sideplots like Lewis to drag itself on and have more moments like that amazing last bit of the first episode, but all in all it was great [editline]19th November 2017[/editline] Also gotta love all the foreshadowing for [sp]Jigsaw. I forgot his name since I haven't read much of his arcs, but thanks to a few subtle comments here and there I figured it was gonna be him. Really satisfying to see it pay off.[/sp]
the punisher 8.5/10 fucking br00tall i really, really enjoyed it. i do agree the middle of the season dragged a bit and some things could've been handled better[sp](the whole Lewis subplot was a little messy - although Curtis was great, Homeland Security subplot wasn't fantastic either)[/sp]but man were those last 3-4 episodes just spectacular and it basically had me hooked from the start, even more so when the relationship between Frank and Micro really began to pickup pace. overall, i'm majorly stoked that The Punisher finally got some sort of cinematic justice, seeing as most of the attempts at bringing the character to the screen have been kinda shitty (minus his plot in Daredevil). very excited to see where it goes from here. also [sp]the ambush Frank laid at Micro's hideout, Rawlin's death and Billy becoming Jigsaw were fucking BRUTAL.[/sp]
Solid first season for Punisher. [sp] Not a lot of Punishering but what we got was brutal as fuck. Castle goes ham [/sp] I can't get over how Bernthal sounds when he screams. Instead of the RRAAAAAAGH most people do, he does this hole NNNNNYYYYYYYYYÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖRGH thing. Goddamn savage.
To those who've watched Punisher, do you think you can go in completely blind without watching DD S2 or the other shows? I've seen DD S2 myself but I'll like to watch it with my dad who hasn't and I'll rather jump right into Punisher with him since he probably wouldn't enjoy DD too much.

Pretty much everything that connects this season with the 2nd Season of DD is more or less summarized in the form of a short dialogue, and it isn't even that much. You may have to explain a thing or two to your Dad, but if he listens you probably won't have to.

He might be confused when they show images of him in court, and he won't appreciate certain flashbacks as much but it should still be a good watch
You also might have to explain where "One batch, two batch, penny and dime" comes from.
Phew, just sat through the entire thing. Can't wait for the next season (if they ever make one) [sp]Was wondering how Jigsaw's face was gonna get fucked up. Didn't expect it to be that brutal jesus[/sp]
Solid first season. One of the best of the TV shows. Jon Bernthal really hit it out of the park and beyond. Really an award winning performance imo
Almost done with Punisher. I am thinking I like it more than DD s1 even. It's at least on the same level.
My only real complaint was that [sp]the entire subplot with Lewis and his suicidal rampage was basically a cheap way to connect the dots between Frank and Billy and Madani.[/sp]
