[sp]no one to punish? What.. Next season will certainly start with the Gnuccis and lead into Jigsaw somehow. Be prepared for micro to lose everything permanently to thrust him back in.[/sp] Those are my predictions
If theres one thing that does consistently annoy me about Punisher adaptions, its that they keep misunderstanding the skull insignia. Unlike most superhero design elements, it actually serves a number of practical purposes. The first being intimidation, obviously, the second being a target for his heavily armored torso to draw fire away from more unprotected parts, and third (as it originally was but really isnt anymore for some reason), the teeth were intended to be magazine pouches. I understand why they ground a lot of superhero designs, i hate it, but i can understand it, but the skull isnt one of those things that needs grounding, its already grounded. That being said, it being spray-painted on is still in line with the general Year One inspirations and its still real cool looking, so i hope they eventually fill out that skull and put the pouches on.
I personally have always been a bigger fan of trenchcoat Punisher than bodysuit Punisher anyway.
there's something about that bodysuit though. it just looks perfect
Best thing about the punisher was seeing tony plana I love grim fandango

Jessica Jones s2 has also got me mad excited. I wonder if [sp]Simpson will return as Nuke or if they'll use them for DD3, since they seem to be going for the whole Born Again arc from the comics.[/sp]

Like, think a beat cop outfit vs. a SWAT uniform. That'd be the best of both worlds. [editline]22nd November 2017[/editline] Unless you wanna go full Battle Van Mode.
I personally have always been a bigger fan of trenchcoat Punisher than bodysuit Punisher anyway.
Trenchcoat is perfection, he even had it at the start of ep1 then got rid of it forever They need to slick his hair back next time too
I'm still a couple of episodes away from the end of the Punisher, but I kinda feel like Castle is a way better antagonist than he is a protagonist. Rewatching scenes from Daredevil S2, he seems like a way better character than he is in his own series - probably because in Daredevil, he's such a stark contrast to Daredevil's set of ideals that it makes him seem like a much better defined character. [sp]What if they'd had David be locked up in solitary confinement for three months, before being broken out of prison by the CIA because they'd planned to make it look like he'd broken out on his own and then kill him because he knew too much, but he managed to fake his own death the same way he did it in the series anyway? So David would be all fucked up from living in isolation for three solid months and be like "nah Frank, incarceration is a fucked up punishment, put 'em in jail, it's worse than death" and Frank is all "nah kill 'em lol", so you have some actual conflict between the two, the same way that Daredevil was all "putting 'em in jail is good because there's the chance they'll change" etc etc[/sp] Still enjoying it tho [editline]23rd November 2017[/editline] also rewatching those scenes from S2 of Daredevil I'm mad as hell because - spoilers for S2 of Daredevil I guess??? but [sp]that bit at the beginning of the stairwell fight after he's been chained up by Castle - when he pulls the trigger, and it clicks, and he laughs? wouldn't that have been way, WAY more impactful if he hadn't fired the gun at all on the rooftop, and had somehow gotten loose a different way, and by pulling the trigger it turned out that the gun had been empty all along, and the laugh would be a "oh you fucker, I couldn't have shot you if I'd tried, you were safe all along, it was just a fucked up test" kinda laugh, rather than "i guess there really was only one bullet..?" like, that laugh doesn't make any sense, unless it's an "i'm laughing because it feels good to threaten people with a gun" which obviously doesn't fit the character of Murdoch at all??? idk I guess I'm just nerd #228746 who feels like they're the second coming of christ when it comes to writing superhero screenplays or whatever[/sp]

So far Runaways is great, even though it feels like a pilot split among 4 episodes, though I wonder if (Comic spoliers)[sp]they will end up making Alex the traitor[/sp].
It's honestly feels like they're stretching everything out on the hope they get a couple more (half) "seasons" before they need to start writing their own stuff if it takes off.
daredevil
If you go back to the similar interrogation scene in Punisher, [sp] Frank tends to do his homework and isn't exactly a trusting soul for some reason [/sp]
Finally got around to seeing Thor, here's my review of it:http://whiteguywithnetflix.blogspot.com/2017/11/review-thor-ragnarok.html All in all, it was a lot of fun and that's basically it. Kinda felt like Waititi wanted to make a weird, goofy space romp while Marvel had a checklist of things that needed to happen to set up Infinity War. Like, he went in all excited like "oh boy I can't wait to make a kinda sorta Planet Hulk deal with some buddy-cop comedy" and then the execs were just like "okay yeah that sounds great, but also [sp]Odin and the Warriors 3 have to die, we need to introduce Hela, Thor needs to lose an eye, also Asgard has to blow up, maybe put Surtur in there, also Loki needs to get his hands on the Cosmic Cube again, also..."[/sp] All the Sakaar stuff was basically 100% action comedy while all the Asgard stuff was basically 100% fantasy drama and it felt a little disjointed at times, like there was just too much shit spread too thin. Still, it was fun on a bun. The fucking [sp]snake story[/sp] made me laugh my ass off. Not my favorite MCU by any means, but objectively the best Thor and a really enjoyable time on its own.
First 17 minutes of the SHIELD Season premier [sp]The way that guy was talking about them, I think they may also be in the future[/sp]

Just finished ep 9 of Netflix Punisher and I gotta say I'm really liking it. I'm surprised to see a lotta folks not enjoying the length of the episodes/story because it's seriously resonating with me.
Recently finished the Punisher and I like how much more grounded it is than the other Netflix shows are, I know it's comic book stuff so of course it doesn't have to be realistic but I wasn't really a fan of the whole The Hand ninjas everywhere stuff from season 2 of Daredevil and Iron Fist. I like how Frank Castle is just a regular human badass kicking the ass of regular guys. And it helps that Jon Bernthal is super charismatic and likeable. Tbh my biggest complaint with the series is the amount of time they spend with the homeland security people, didn't really add much to the overall show and could honestly be almost completely removed with not too much of an impact on the season.
Aaaand now I'm done watching The Punisher. Good god, that was a satisfying ending.
Oh shit actual movie leaks https://vimeo.com/244552785?activityReferer=1
I guess it's a CGI studio leaking these? Since they don't have the [sp]Thanos shots, and when they do (once, except the prop foot shot) he's not there. The partitioning of CGI work makes it look like this kind of leak[/sp] Also, Arrested Development easter egg, found it on reddit: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/347480507929591820/384438721480622082/unknown.png
Oh shit actual movie leaks https://vimeo.com/244552785?activityReferer=1
I want to check it out but are there any major spoilers in there?
Oh shit actual movie leaks https://vimeo.com/244552785?activityReferer=1
and we don't even have a trailer yet
Jesus christ this has me hyped Also that Arrested Development easter egg
I want to check it out but are there any major spoilers in there?
Nope, you’re good
That Thanos scene was really fucking tense. (The vimeo mirror is down, but they have links on the Marvel Studios subreddit's comment section about the leak.)
In case someone still wants to watch: https://files.catbox.moe/zs9g2s.mp4
You're a brave person. If this is the last post you ever make, I'll assume the Disney/Marvel snipers got you.
I'm super curious, but I don't wanna spoil myself. this is a decision that is killing me
its not that bad, no more spoilerey than an average trailer
