its not that bad, no more spoilerey than an average trailer
I disagree. It's not spoilery, sure, but it's still something that would be cool to go into blind.
Mark Ruffalo(Hulk) is teasing that something big is coming.
And Vanity Fair covers are out

So sometime this week I'm guessing the Infinity War trailer will drop? AoS S5 premieres Friday.

Was this joke intentional? :v:

I wonder what the set looked like. Or are these 100% composited photos?
So I saw The Runaways pilot and it's fucking horrible?
The dialogue ranges from mediocre to painful, and most of the "painful" lines establish the characters that spoke them. Some of the story elements require the characters to get into situations real teenagers would never get into; kind of feels like a cheapo Breakfast Club.
The acting is mostly fine (some lines the Asian girl says are pretty bad, but it's passable), so at least there's that.
I'd like to note that I'm completely unfamiliar with the source material, not that it should matter that much, really.
Does it get better later on?
Infinity War trailer debuts tomorrow.

They actually included the pseudo-Ten Rings dudes in that, amazing.
Scarlet Witch with really red hair is throwing me off, I'm so used to her being a brunette in AOU and CW
Man, trailer-reaction videos are the most malignant kind of internet cancer.
Man, trailer-reaction videos are the most malignant kind of internet cancer.
I hate less that they exist, more that so many people like them.
I have no clue why you'd watch someone make surprised faces that you don't even know. The whole joy of showing someone something they'd like is that you know them. If people love these so much then just get a random video of someone making surprised faces and put it in front of any trailer, boom, same thing.
Yeah I sound bitter but only because how low effort it is, and how it's getting pushed more and more in ads.
I don't know, a trailer FOR a trailer which consists of nothing BUT trailer-reaction videos is certainly the worst thing I have seen.
That's what teasers are, but the reaction videos? Kinda just comes off as 'YOU SHOULD FEEL LIKE THIS WHEN IT DROPS, LOOK, EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT."
Like, I can understand if it's a LOT of people.
I've watched old E3 footage of the Melee reveal trailer more times than I can count; it's cool to see so many people getting hyped; it's like a live concert, it actually feels like an EVENT.
But why would anyone wanna watch some random shmuck with a shitty triforce tattoo gasp and squeal over some Star Wars footage?
WOAH, HOLY SHIT, THERE'S A LIGHTSABER IN THIS STAR WARS MOVIE. HOLY FUCK I CAN'T EVEN. FIRE UP THOSE CROCODILE TEARS BECAUSE OH MY SHIT THEY EVEN PUT THE LUCASFILM LOGO IN THERE.

That initial Infinity War reveal is still hype as shit.
The trailer premieres tomorrow morning on GMA

The only reaction videos I like are Angry Joe's, not sure why.
I honestly don't like them because they don't feel genuine, like they're filming themselves, so their reactions probably won't be 100% pure.
If it was a hidden camera like thing, then sure.
Someone help Chris Pratt please

If today wasn't awesome enough in terms of comic book news, rumor has it that talks between Disney/Fox started again and that a deal could be announced in days:

dr doom + osborne as phase 4 threats? yes please.
Don't even need F4 reboot
dr doom + osborne as phase 4 threats? yes please
I hope the Doctor Doom solo is repurposed as the FF's introduction to the MCU. Instead of yet another FF movie off the bat, do a completely accurate Doom movie. He's got a lot of potential for it.

Hell if they wanted to, they could make Doctor Strange 2 an adaptation of Triumph and Torment.

It'd be really sick for Marvel, but I wonder how they'll handle the other TV and Film deals. Fox distributes DreamWorks movies right now, and The Simpsons/Family Guy/The X-Files are still pretty valuable assets on the TV side. They'd also have most all US sports between ABC, Fox Sports, and ESPN.

Wasnt the Fox deal that they just going to offload non-news and sports assets to focus more on that stuff?

Whoops, looking at it again you're right. I just wonder how the local Fox channels will be handled (if any different).
I'm a tiny bit concerned about The Infinity Wars, to be honest.
I'll admit, I'm not much interested into Marvel's universe as a whole, but I do like Thanos as a character (since, you know, he's basically Marvel's answer to DC Comics' Darkseid, who is one of my favorite characters from that universe).
So I'd really like to see a movie where Thanos comes about and kick the heroes' asses hard, maybe causing a death or two among the enstablished main cast. What follows would be a movie where our heroes must deal with their own issues and feelings of being overpowered but in the end they'd gather enough resolve/power to face the villain and win against all odds.
The problem here is that this premise was apparently also the core of movies like Iron Man 3, Thor 2: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok, and we all saw how those turned out, didn't we?

Pretty sure the local channels are part of the network they legally cannot acquire

I hope its as close to the comic as possible.
[sp]Where Thanos kills fucking everybody and only loses because of his own screw up.[/sp]

I'm thinking that Thanos actually does wipe the floor with them in Infinity War and kills a good chunk of them, then someone (Dr. Strange would be fitting) uses the Time Stone to go back in time and Avengers 4 is him having to assemble them again (Possibly through different periods of time). Varying ways of this are the only way I can see Thanos actually presenting himself as a major threat while also loop-holing around losing your entire cast for future films. I'm pretty sure we'll see at least one or two major characters have permanent deaths in the end but for such a build-up you need to see some real devastation for it to pay off.
