AoS Spoilers [sp] That cryo chamber thingy prop... that was a car roof cargo carier, right? Like, not even hiding it? What the fuck[/sp]
Another reason I wank to Vulture is that, well, he's the guy I'd be if I were in the marvel cinematic universe; Wanting to steal all the different techs and bring them together. It's a tad disappointing that the Marvel characters mostly seem to be ignorant of the implications of most of their technology. A B-list villain like MCU's yellowjacket, -Has shoulder mounted death lasers. -Probably has the coolest heads up display to deal with said lasers. -Has a highly concealable weapon that instantly turns foes into a pile of easily disposable goop, which could conceivably instakill everything and anything because nobody has defences for that. Hulk, Thanos, Iron man? Goop. - Pym particles could better put a nuclear reactor in your pocket. Iron man could miniturise his energy core. Hulk could become a tiny god. Yellowjacket isn't one billion dollar suit, it's several billion dollar discoveries. A dude could revolutionize the world with everything put into that guy, and it's a shame that business is dumb as fuck for using it that way. It's a shame that vulture can't have access to that due to some horrible corperate vandalism and the dude getting sucked up, because Pym technologies created what would've laughed thanos off the radar. But I like the new vulture. I want to see him string together an ironman suit, pack it full of chitari mods and put it on a goblin glider (which is bafflingly redundant) before the thing gets stolen by the punisher. He should be stealing his tech, maybe even genetic therapies, and give them all to him and his underlings. Tech Scavenging vulture is the coolest, most promising villain in the MCU (So far, because sympathetic villain and Michael-fucking-keaton) Maybe I'm just klepto, maybe I've been disappointed by too many sci-fi's where humans struggle to acquire and adapt alien tech (look at all the shit stargate passed up), but I look at everything in the MCU and think "wow, people should really be trying to re-purpose this"
regardless of how they handle so many heroes on screen, I completely agree. These next two Avengers films need to be the "doomsday" scenario that Tony has been scrambling to prepare for since Avengers 1. Everyone has been kicking ass up until this point, Thanos and gang need to be the intergalactic equivalent of the school bully that beats you up, takes your lunch Infinity Stones and pants you in one fell swoop. I just finished my second viewing of Ragnarok this week, I'm hoping Korg and Valkyrie make a small appearance at least. And it's probably wishful thinking, but will we EVER get a Howard the Duck movie? the '86 film doesn't count.
I'm hoping that Thanos's army doesn't suffer from Avengers syndrome where in order to make Black Widow not look useless, a high-tech fighting force can be bested by just shooting them with some regular pistols. Your army doesn't scream intimidating if you could beat them with twenty guys with rifles just as effectively as a bunch of superheroes. It might be even worse this time around since their opponents appear to be a bunch of Wakandans with swords.
It's my favorite episode of the season so far. [sp]I just can't get interested in seeing the team talk in the same 3 grey, poorly lit rooms time and again. And it was cool to realize why the station is called The Lighthouse.[/sp]
[sp] I still wanna know who built it and why [/sp]
AoS Spoilers [sp] That cryo chamber thingy prop... that was a car roof cargo carier, right? Like, not even hiding it? What the fuck[/sp]
That was pretty blatant yeah... Gave me Doctor Who vibes, it wasn't all that well masked really. I mean, it wasn't even padded for a human to sleep in. You could be cheap about it, yes, but makind just like a cargo carrier on the inside. Otherwise, I liked the episode. Betting on kree who blew up the Earth.
[sp] I still wanna know who built it and why [/sp]
I'm thinking we might learn more about it in the coming episodes, maybe when this pod ends and the next one begins. Or, maybe it was just a doomsday prepper who got really lucky with his location scouting.
Now that I think about it, I think I'd rather not have Enoch ever explained, or at least not until close to the end, and preserve the G-man vibe around him. Including the skinning and bath bit. But I guess we would like to know how Fitz got there, and I don't want the show without him either so, yeah. I think he just needs to be a bit worser with his whole "I'm kind of evil" thing though.
I am announcing a thing, this is an announcement, do you feel announced to yet? "MCU and comics" is now a channel in the FP Movies Discord I created a while ago, here's the invite: https://discord.gg/nMmwTwx Its been a tiny server with only a dozen or so regulars, but I think we can start using it for the FP movie communities that aren't big enough to dedicate a whole Discord to. Rules are basic common sense, just don't spoil, flame or spam. Note: there are spoiler channels (make sure you don't click them by mistake), and I added one for the MCU as well, but as of right now that means spoilers for everything Marvel. If enough people want a more specific one (e.g. Agents of Shield), feel free to ask

With regards to Agents of Sheilds, Like the how the space windows coincidentally look like Forbidden Planet sets: [t]https://hiddenremote.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/280/files/2017/05/agents-of-shield-season-4-finale-coulson-space.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.horrordvds.com/reviews/a-m/forbiddenp/forbiddenp_shot6l.jpg[/t]
The Lighthouse really had some great foresight to put all those windows in 10-20 stories below ground level next to a lake.

Not sure if this was posted but GoTG vol 3 has been confirmed for 2020 release! http://collider.com/guardians-of-the-galaxy-3-release-date-2020/
Thinking the other 2020 movies will be doctor strange 2 and maybe black widow movie.
I read that Kendrick Lamar is helping with the score to black panther so expect it to be dope as hell
Do we discuss FOX (Soon to be irrelevant) here as well? Been watching The Gifted, just finished the season finale. It's actually a really good X-Men show, loving the characters and the story. I seriously hope Disney doesn't step in and wipe it out, as it's a very good show regardless of whether or not it's connected to a movie. It's a really cool pre- Days of Future Past type story about the Mutant Underground movement in a world where the X-Men and Brotherhood went into hiding after an undisclosed event killed a bunch of humans a few years prior. Featuring ([sp]No giant robots at the moment, though it's hinted that a Days of Future Past 70s Sentinel Program existed ala the movie.[/sp]) Trask Industries and what the Sentinel program became. Not sure yet why they chose to give the main family the name Von Strucker. Lots of allusions and mentions of the X-Men, Brotherhood, Magneto, etc. Show stars Proudstar/Thunderbird, Polaris, Blink, Eclipse, and this OC Von Strucker family. And if you want spoilers: [sp]The Hellfire Club becomes very important to the show, practically becoming the new Brotherhood. Esme Frost and the rest of the Stepford Cuckoos are taking orders from the court who are currently unnamed and unshown.[/sp]
The Gifted
Been watching and enjoying it (mostly) too. People argue about stupid shit too much to eat show time though. Plus the Struckers and the Mutant Underground folk are usually having the same argument, so you have to see it twice. Also this is the most credit John Proudstar has ever been given in any form ever, so that's interesting.
black panther has set a new record for advance ticket sales It's 7 day old news, sure, but It's pretty cool to see the movie gain a lot of attention with viewers. I can't help but feel infinity war might take the record over in the coming months, though....

I wasn't aware that in the comics he had any prevalent family like kids. I'm not sure it's intended to be his family, as they would have one heck of a fight on their hands for rights to an Avengers/Captain America villain in an X-Men show. Edit: looked into it myself, yeah in the comics the Strucker Twins are Baron Von Struckers kids. That's obviously not the case in the show but they kept the name. Sorry I doubted you. 👌
hulkbuster 2.0 concept art leaked. Much smoother now. [sp]the lego version seems quite more accurate compared to the old one, and that explains the toes as well [/sp]
Anyone got any thoughts on these new set photos? Haven't seen them posted here, but spoiler warning regardless. http://www.complex.com/pop-culture/2018/01/new-avengers-4-on-set-photos-spoiled-final-battle-infinity-war]Link
