Tony is older but Scott is clearly the same age as in Ant-Man and Wasp. It could be Tony using his memory recreater from CW but that wouldn't explain Scott unless Tony modified his memories like he did in CW. If it is time stone shenanigans it also means Ant-Man could somehow be retconned to being a founding Avenger and he was there the entire time, just small.[/sp]

[sp] ant-man may be the one who gets the stone back to Stephen, or gets another stone off the Gauntlet allowing Strange to use his stone "before" Thanos by invoking the same kind of 2 part spell he did in his movie as a fail safe if Thanos did get all of them. Or the much simpler explanation, someone got the reality stone (Tony) and is trying very very hard to unfuck the universe what just got fucked [/sp]

I dunno man, I'm still sad that they're not really trying to get that -painted nudes- look of comicbook costumes. Like i'm not just being sexist and wanting to perv on the women. I really want to see those men in skintight outfits too. That outfit's a bit baggy and has realistic proportions and it brings sadness to me. skintight looks simply doesn't translate into IRL stuff very well they work for some characters, especially when they're supposed to look ethereal or inhuman like vision and the silver surfer, or get a basic "tactical" suit like catwoman and black widow there's also spider-man, but he's got those ridged web lines to give the suit more "mass" (if that makes any sense), and dark blue pants that conveniently make awkward crotch/butt shots easier to avoid

I think an extremely form-fitting suit works as long as theres stuff to break it up, like Spider-Mans webs or Batmans utility belt or Supermans trunks and cape. It also depends on the colors involved. Captain Marvel (the DC one) looks a lot more natural without trunks being predominantly a giant red blob than Superman without trunks who'd be a giant blue blob.

I feel like one of the most underappreciated costumes in the MCU is cap's, throughout the movies they look practical (fitting to the era too) while still being extremely faithful to the icon that is his costume

[editline]26th January 2018[/editline] That being said im not a fan of Iron Mans costumes from the past couple movies. Its getting more and more overdesigned and moving away from the general design principles the original movie went with which i always appreciated in concept from The Ultimates where he's supposed to look like a man wearing a fighter jet, not just a guy in armor.

Too little color variety. I know his Avengers 1 outfit was "classic cap" but at least it had some distinct shapes and colors.

I think Avengers 1 Cap would've worked far better with a more aqua marine tinted blue like his First Avenger outfiit, fully white sleeves, and the First Avenger style helmet. The helmet is really the big problem with it, when its off the outfit looks fine. The biggest problem I have with the first Avengers suit is it just looks like a halloween costume and not a uniform with appropriate protection.

The best suit in the Marvel universe is Ant-Man's, taking design cues from it is the best thing you can do.

Although it's not practical in any way in the MCU, I do really miss the wings on his helmet. The helmet looks so bland without them.

But if they went full balls to the wall Captain America, talking full on scale mail armor, that'd be a good place for them to fit in.
