he looks a lot like ultimate thor these days
I'm just glad we never went back to Avengers 1's Captain America costume. You went from a fantastic version of it in his solo movie to this thing. Going for a less textured and more purist look was a mistake. [t]https://static1.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/t/550ca5f8e4b0567de63acd97/1426892294287/[/t]

He looks great with the mask off, it's when it's on that he goes full egghead. I remember a fan-theory from WAYYY back that Cap would finally lift Mjolnir in Infinity War and end up with the classic chainmail suit, made out of Asgardian materials. I'd love it if they did it, but there's no way they'd ever do it.
I mean, it's not like he can now...
Yeah he looks better with it off, but that's every single variation of his costume that he's ever worn. It's still the worst version of the costume. Agents of Shield is being cringy again, but I loved what I'm certain was a model of the Zephyr One lying in the rubble early on in the episode this week. I'm almost certain it was a real model and not CGI. Screengrab from the episode (Spoiler warning)

The acting and sets both seem more grounded somehow. As for that shot, it's likely to be a well rendered 3D model. Have a look at the 3D digital art thread and then consider what a group of those guys could do if they were paid. I would love to have a physical model of Zephyr One

I meant by the of stage 4 I assume the MCU and superhero movies won't be as popular with average movie goers. Is part 2 still coming out in 2019.

I won't care as much, but then again, if they're still making good movies with interesting heroes, I might still have some investment.

Spiderman is going to be a definite watch for me, maybe Black Panther as well if the coming film is good. But beyond those and what they already have in the first 3 stages, I don't really know any marvel characters all that well. The only other option is if they introduce X-Men.
They'll probably reintroduce the Fantastic Four first, though that might be wishful thinking

The rolling suitcase gag has officially sold me
I'm already in love with it
I loved the first Ant-Man so i'm ready for more, Paul Rudd is a great actor and it's cool to see him star in big super hero roles like this
my question is how will they top the best tv ad ever made for the mcu
I hope that after Infinity War is all done, they take some of the infinite wealth they've accumulated and gamble a little. Take some risks. I love most of the MCU movies just fine, but they're getting so... safe. Like, I enjoyed Thor Ragnarok and Doctor Strange. But there is no reason those characters' stories need to be comedies. Like, these comic book characters have been cultural icons since the 60's, you don't need to really "sell" people on them (especially now, we're getting a fucking ANT MAN sequel). It'd be really cool if they brought someone on board and took the same approach Patty Jenkins took with Wonder Woman, where you're not allowed to wink at the audience or make fun of the concept. Don't get me wrong, I thought Thor was hilarious (the snake story still makes me giggle just thinking about it), but an over-abundance of jokes in these movies gives the impression that they're just trying to ease some of the tension, you know? Like they're saying to the audience "we're acknowledging how stupid the idea of a space viking is, so it's okay to like it ironically, just shut your brain off nerd lmao it's just a joke", and I feel like that's really short-changing these properties (especially considering how tonally-different the source material can be). Doctor Strange had a lot of genuinely cool bits in it, I didn't need to know that he knows who Beyonce is in order to buy the concept of kung-fu wizards fighting between dimensions.
I'd love it if Marvel Studios was allowed to take more risks. However if they're allowed risks that would be Disney's call.
I know that when the news broke about the Fox acquisition, someone asked one of the higher-ups if this means no more movies like Deadpool or Logan and he basically replied "well I feel like people know what they'd be getting into now, so we should be fine with that", so I can see them making that their next big hook after they finally blow that Infinity load they've had edging for the past decade. I feel like a lot of people are gonna start to check out once Thanos is over and done with, so the trifecta of "we got X-Men, we got Doctor Doom, we're experimenting with different ratings/genres/demographics" could totally be enough to keep interest alive.
[sp]Don't have the balls to call him Nomad. Damn.[/sp]
Gotta ease them into it. They'll probably do it in the film and wait till it's more well known. Leaked hideous figures. https://i.redd.it/3fvi6bz071e01.jpg [sp]Groot with a fuckin gun alright then.[/sp]
