As far as Antman and the Wasp is the only Marvel movie I'm going to watch in the near future aside from The Infity Wars, I really don't like the look they gave to Ghost. It looks like bad TV series-tier to me. I mean [t]https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/2/21/Ghost_%28Earth-616%29_from_Amazing_Spider-Man_Vol_3_16_001.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150312234729[/t] was this too hard to accomplish?

I've finally come around to watch the first season of The Punisher. I'm around episode five. Now don't get me wrong, the show isn't bad per se and I love the chemistry between Castle and the hacker, but to be perfectly honest I was expecting a show about a former war veteran vigilante going around killing people while making the audience question Castle's motives and if he's really making everything better with his own brand of Justice. As of now instead the show is mostly about government's shady operations against international terrorism, the plight of retired war veterans, espionage and counter espionage and guns control (IN A FUCKING PUNISHER MEDIA, NONETHELESS), with a rather tame body count by the titular character. I'll surely watch the season till the end, but they could at least make my job a bit easier
The show takes ages to get going, but the last third to half of the season is heavily action-focused.

I love it, but what the heck is "An entire universe, once and for all" supposed to mean? I saw someone suggest that they were supposed to include the word "assembled" but forgot. :v:

my big qualm is that frank doesn't narrate at all during the shoe
first reviews are in. the reviews say it's amazing https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/black_panther_2018
I dislike the grounded/distant from supes thing for The Punisher. Dude should've stolen some stark shit and blown up a mutant by now. A guy vs soldiers will get dull. I did like the veterans focus of the show, but I'd believe in cyclops and his dimension of death-ray before I believe in that chick from that agency and her death-bait companion.

sounds like he didn't know anything about the MCU either we don't have mutants or cyclops yet, and the show wrapped before there were fox deals
Sorry let me re-explain that. Criminals are very interesting because they've got half a dozen systems of order and cultures to work with. Soldiers and mercenaries are great and all, but there's only so many ways you can do them before it gets stale. Both are more interesting when you put in special individuals like mutants and the like. And I'm a sci-fi technophile who just likes to see someone grabbing all the tech available in the marvel universe. See previous rants on why I like vulture or why Ant-Man was so wasteful. Yes, Frank's best stories might've been down to earth and distant from the rest of the MU, but I'd die happier after seeing Jon Bernthal atop a Goblin glider wasting bad guys. Also, an explanation to why he hasn't died from wounds in the current television series'd be great, and that'll be magic, tech or mutants. Because we all watched the series, we know he should've died or at least suffer from permanent injuries.

[sp]So the trailer says she was brought back from the dead, so I'm guessing they brought purple man back from the dead too?[/sp]
[sp]I get the feeling he'll be back but won't have any of his powers or something to that effect[/sp]
Wasn't it confirmed in some interview or other that he was just a projection of her subconscious?

Do you mean the people in the photo, or the interview bits overlayed on top? I gotta say, feeling weird about the marketing strategy basically being "it's the end". I understand, that sells tickets; but it just feels kind of too much? They're exaggerating is what I'm saying.
He says here's to 10 more, whatchu on about?
Clark Gregg really should've been there
He says here's to 10 more, whatchu on about?
The ads (trailer and Superbowl) for Avengers 3 so far have been not just "it's the biggest thing you'll ever see", it's also been a been a bit "this is the end of the road". Most quotes from the actors are like "this is the end". Maybe it's just me
They're referring to the overarching plot that's been building since the MCU formed. Plus there's a high probability that a lot of the characters will be killed off, they've been warning that it'll change things going forward, starting a new era.
I'm not building myself up for disappointment in terms of how hard Infinity War will change things. I'm predicting maybe 2 permanent deaths at max, not counting "oh they died but we brought them back with the stones" or "aw shit Groot died again time to plant another one" type stuff. I also feel like the next Avengers is gonna end up being what we want Infinity War to be; everyone seems to assume that this is gonna be the Infinity Gauntlet movie, but the more we see of it the more it's looking like a 150 minute preamble. Thanos isn't even wearing his hat, I wouldn't be shocked if it ended on a cliffhanger of him assembling the full gauntlet. The only problem is that they keep marketing it as "the end" instead of "the beginning of the end", so I feel like they're kinda hyping everyone up for disappointment to some degree.
Maybe its too surprise the more casual audiences? The initial Infinity War teaser ended with Guardians reveal but if you knew anything about the film outside of that tailer you knew they'd be appearing but when I showed it to my GF who casually watches the MCU she freaked out
