At least he was purposefully left out
After reaching the tenth episode of The Punisher I'm starting to think that all these Marvel - Netflix shows are maybe too long for their own good, to the point I'd like them to shorten each season even a great deal if it means reaching the good parts sooner without anything else attached just for the sake of filling a quota of sort. To be blunt I don't give a flying fuck about Lewis Wilson and his subplot. All the attempts to make him a foil to Frank himself fall flat and his whole point is apparently giving the writers yet another mean to develop their aesop about American patriottism, gun control, terrorism and the like. Which are all themes that they could had as well been taken on by Frank's and Billie Russo's story arcs alone. So every time Lewis' story arc is brought about I can't help but sigh and hope the plot will return to Micro, Frank and the good stuff. This is also a major problem I had with the first season of Jessica Jones, which main plot can be summarized as "Jessica and pals get Killgrave and then loose him, and then get him and then loose him again till they actually manage to deal with him permanently"
Rewatching Agents season 2. Man, so much awesome stuff going on here. The fall of Hydra as a major fighting force, the rise of the Inhumans, the other SHIELD...
I wish SHIELD seasons 3 and 4 would actually receive a home release at some point.

"
I thought he was the strongest subplot, mostly because I didn't know his comic counterpart and didn't know which way he was going to go. I thought he was far more interesting than Russo, who was predictable as fuck. Now we can all agree Madani was awful, could've been skipped, and was probably there because some suit demanded a strong female character to a director who didn't know how to write one, but I will fight you over Wilson.

[sp]I'm not liking how much of the IW toys/marketing is portraying Thor without his eyepatch. I really hope it's just because that was early art they're using and not that he gets it healed[/sp]
More IW toy spoilers
why did i read those goddam leaks
why did i read those goddam leaks
Ah, finally an opportunity to complain rant about something leak-related! Some guy on Reddit mentioned he read them and, after about fifty people begged him to PM the details to them, had a meltdown and posted one of the bigger ones completely untagged. I read that one a while ago, but I can't imagine how many people were unfairly spoiled today.

they were real? I didn't read them, but damn.. I looked at the picture and I don't know what I'm looking at so I should count myself lucky

I read those leaks too, and while it sucks that I still remember [sp]who dies[/sp], the silver lining is that it adjusted my expectations to a more realistic degree. Like I keep saying, I find myself feeling like this isn't gonna be the Infinity Gauntlet movie we all wanted it to be. We all expected that by this point we'd [sp]go to space and fight Thanos on an asteroid or whatever[/sp], when in reality it seems that the climax will be [sp]two armies punching each other in a field in Wakanda[/sp]. And there's nothing wrong with that (assuming Avengers 4 is still a Part 2), but I still would have been disappointed had I gone to see this without knowing I'm seeing Part 1 walking in, yunno?
What's with BP's rating on IMDB? It currently sits on a 6.7/10, the lowest I have ever seen a Marvel movie.
What's with BP's rating on IMDB? It currently sits on a 6.7/10, the lowest I have ever seen a Marvel movie.
Looking at the distribution, I wouldn't use IMDB as a reliable rating.
What's with BP's rating on IMDB? It currently sits on a 6.7/10, the lowest I have ever seen a Marvel movie.
Racism.
Rotten Tomatoes said they were gonna remove any review that was racist, /pol/ took that to mean "we're removing any negative criticism" (which, if we're being honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they did, it's RT after all), then started raiding it with 0% scores to counteract all the positive scores. Then other folks got wind of the /pol/ raids and started putting in fake 100% scores to counteract the racism. Cue MORE /pol/ guys raiding with zeroes which led to more false positives and it all just devolved into a big ol' circlejerk between white nationalists and people who consider defending the RT score of a Marvel movie to be activism. tl;dr Don't trust Rotten Tomatoes, it's a flawed as hell system from every conceivable angle.
I wish i could just get a Black Panther movie without people seeing black people and deciding they need to go full retard every which way.
Racism.
It's a mix of this and people arguing over whether its racism People are defaulting into a "it's not racist!" then decide to hate the movie so that they can say it being received bad isn't racist It's like the ghostbusters effect except the film company isn't doing it deliberately and the movies actually watchable [editline]13th February 2018[/editline]
Rotten Tomatoes said they were gonna remove any review that was racist, /pol/ took that to mean "we're removing any negative criticism" (which, if we're being honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they did, it's RT after all), then started raiding it with 0% scores to counteract all the positive scores. dont diss paddington 2 that movie is great
I apologize. Obviously I'm talking about how they're suspicious of 100% and ranting over conspiracies for a black lead starter and not for a sequel for a talking bear, not the actual quality of the movies
Obviously if Armond White wasn't banned from RT, the movie would have gotten a 99%.
Um, about that... he's back, and writing for the fucking National Review no less. He was the reason Get Out dropped from 100 percent positive to only 99 percent. Except a Black Panther review from him eventually, with his usual schtick.

BP's a good movie :ok: my only real complaint is that someone in the theater answered a call during the climax :ok: :ok: :ok:
