Marvel Cinematic Universe Thread - Dr. Strangelove

It wasn't until the last couple episodes of the first half that I really enjoyed the season. I thought the sets were too drab/dark and really sucked the life out of everything for me. The last couple of episodes in that arc, though, were pretty crazy/impressive, as has been the case for a couple years now.

drunkard sexist fascist racist female hero will never be a thing with Disney.
Comics, am I right, folks?
DC started doing dumb shit when Marvel started beating them and again when Image started beating them, Marvel, frankly never stopped doing dumb shit.
Never forget radioactive jizzum that gives spider-cancer
I really should read Reign; I've heard it's actually a fantastic Spider-Man story, once you get past radioactive spider cum.
So, who watched Agents of Shield last night?
[sp]RIP Yo-yo's arms, future her really should've warned her[/sp]
I have missed the first 4 or 5 episodes of this season of SHIELD so I'm waiting for the entire season to finish and go to Netflix to watch it.
I'm hoping it's at least on par with the previous season? All I know about it is it's in outer space.
AoS is the same every year, mediocre beginning arc, amazing ending arc. I'm really hoping they can top that [sp]bot_fitzz[/sp] episode of last season
[sp]RIP Yo-yo's arms, future her really should've warned her[/sp]
[sp]We know she gets replacement arms from a flashback. Unless history has already changed.
In the comics her character does have prosthetic arms from the elbow down[/sp]
Movie title time. Take with a pinch of salt

TL:DR
2020:
May 1 - GotG Vol.3
July 31 - Black Widow
Nov 6 - Doc Strange 2
2021:
May 7 - Black Panther 2
July 30 - Spiderman 3
November 5 - Ravagers
2022:
Feb 18 - Captain Marvel 2
May 6 - Antman 3
July 29 - Avengers 5
I personally don't see myself caring as much about the MCU after Avengers 4. Constant sequels and characters that don't need their own movie (Widow, Ravagers) is just meh. Hopefully X-Men and F4 are eventually introduced into MCU, but that's the only thing I can see stoking my interest.
I think my interest will fall flat at Vol. 3 since that's the end of Gunns trilogy starring this original Guardians team and they've been my favourite part of the MCU for awhile now
yeah. I'm gonna not pay as much attention after infinity war and ant man 2
yeah. I'm gonna not pay as much attention after infinity war and ant man 2
[sp]Infinity War is gonna end on a cliff-hanger for A4, it's pretty much guaranteed at this point[/sp]
Infinity War and Avengers 4 are still a two-parter.
[editline]4th March 2018[/editline]
They were renamed because they arent necessarily two halves of one long story but two interlocked stories, Infinity War seems to be Thanos Quest and A4 is probably the actual Infinity Gauntlet story.
What if there was an alternate universe where the xmen were actual bad guys and the government were only conducting voluntary experiments on mutants to recreate their powers while xmen are committing terrorism to stop this

X-Men have been way more fucked up than that for quite some time.
Is Infinity War a "to be continued" story?
Most likely, Thanos Quest is the lead into Infinity Gauntlet.

How you mean
How you mean
Should i start with them having a black ops death squad team that conducts targeted assassinations?
What if there was an alternate universe where the xmen were actual bad guys and the government were only conducting voluntary experiments on mutants to recreate their powers while xmen are committing terrorism to stop this
You mean basically Scott from after turning all malcom X-man before his other scott turned up as a kid from an alternate universe then.

Not that I care too much about the other Disney movies, but I'm gonna ask out of curiosity since the link seems to imply Disney titles as a whole - did they have dates up for the non-Marvel movies too, or just the MCU stuff?
As for the leak, it seems to play it largely safe aside from the Ravagers. I was sooner expecting Nova to be the next hero to debut.

There are tons of untitled Disney's "live actions" too, here a few but there are more dates for 2020+

People who watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, can you give me your view on some of the stuff from this and last season?
Last season:
[sp]the Framework shebang and the idea to tie the whole thing to the robot-lady's obsession with Fitz. When the season switched to this storyline, I was initially sort of excited, but then it kind of withered and became incredibly lame? Not sure why though, a lot of people seemed to like it[/sp]
This season:
[sp]The lady replacing Talbot, and the recent appearance of her daughter or whatever. I guess it was supposed to be clever, because they set up one situation, and it turns out to be a whole different thing;
but I only cringed? Felt like a deviantart uploaded fanart character[/sp]

[sp]The girl's outfit kind of look like Scorpio's. Instead of the Zodiac key, she uses those sharp frisbees instead. Also, seeing how Creel is joining the government lady team, maybe it will be the other half of the Secret Warriors? Being Creel Stonewall instead of his son. Either that or Zodiac, with the Absorbing Man fitting somewhere.[/sp]

[sp]When I saw the daughters outfit, I expected it to be the kree warrior with the metallic balls. It felt really weird for her to be the general's daughter.[/sp]

I thought that General lady was a Kree in disguise[/sp]

I really enjoyed last season but I absolutely agree with you on the [sp]edge daughter, so lame, they might be able to pull it off and make her interesting but she just seems to be generic villian of the week #200[/sp]
