I really want a good Green Lantern movie.
I think the whole trailer is made from this:

Doesn't include the sting he's looking for.

Just give us a good John Stewart movie already.
A lot of potential in the Green Lantern franchise, it could even exist without the DC film universe.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the DCEU would be just as, if not more successful than the MCU if WB actually understood what they had with these characters.
All the way back to the Burton movies, WB has had no fucking clue what they were doing and left it entirely up to the directors they got. John Peters (the producer/hair stylist who demanded Kevin Smith make Superman fight a giant spider) originally wanted Batman 89 to be full of swearing; the line "I'm Batman" was originally "I'm Batman, motherfucker". The Burton Batsuit was originally going to have Nike logos on the boots as part of a sponsorship deal. The only reason none of this shit came to pass is because Burton had the good sense to realize how retarded all of that was.
Then they lose Burton and let Schumaker take over, surprise, it all goes to shit. Same thing happens years later; they get lucky by handing the reins over to Nolan, who makes them shit-loads of money. So now everyone needs to be like Batman, even fucking Superman. Cue Zack Snyder's wacky 9/11 adventure and over half a decade of mediocre garbage.
Now they're realizing that's not working, but Marvel is popular! Better get Joss Whedon! Better put in jokes! Just make Aquaman into a shitty Thor knockoff (instead of a likeable everyman underdog with arguably the most supportive spouse in all of comic fiction), just listen to the focus groups and market research and something will HAVE to stick eventually!
Green Lantern could EASILY be DC's Guardians of the Galaxy (that is, a spellbinding and emotional space opera that can be totally disconnected from all the other DC stuff if it so chooses), but they're probably gonna fuck that up too (assuming they even make it that far). The only thing it looks like they're getting right is Shazam, but I feel like I'm already getting set to get burned on that one too.
Goddamn WB gets me frustrated, it shouldn't be this hard to not fuck up Superman and the Justice League in this day and age, especially considering how high the superhero movie genre has been riding for the past decade.
The Nike logos are still on the suit, but considering the lighting they're practically invisible.
No kidding, for real?
What a rollercoaster last night's episode was. And some amazing callbacks, too!
Yeah Shield has been great recently

Both are going to be premium models, so metal base/body and rubber tires. The flames on Robbie's Charger are plastic and removable so it can look like a regular Charger. The minigun on Frank's van rotates and the front bumper has articulation. There's also one more that's part of the mix

But there's really nothing I can say more about it but groan and look the other way.
Should have been Dopinder's Taxi
lol how many times has that ice cream truck base been used. I can remember having hot wheels and other off-brand toys with the exact same base model as this.
On and off since 1984.
I would have taken literally anything else. I wonder if Johnny's bike was an idea on the table at one point but couldn't get the flames to hook on.
This is Omega by Hi Finesse. It was made specifically for the trailer and there's no legitimate full version available online as of yet since Hi-Finesse is contractually bound and the track was not meant for a public release (dunno if it ever will have one but I sure hope it does).
Alright, with the realization a few weeks ago of "oh shit, the next Avengers movie is out at the end of next month, and it actually looks a way bigger deal than Age of Ultron," combined with "fuck it, I'll watch Civil War since it's on Netflix. But wait, I need to know what's going on so first..." I've been playing catch up on the universe, since I was so far behind. Over the past while, I've binged and caught up on...
Dr. Strange, Dark World, Ultron, Ant-Man, Civil War, Homecoming, and I just finished Ragnarok. Just have Black Panther left to go, and I'm officially ready for Infinity War.
someone dug up info on the avengers project coming from Square Enix/Eidos Montreal/Crystal Dynamics

TL;DR a Third Person Cover based game. It is gonna try to be a social game like Destiny or The Division.
City of Heroes V2 please.
Color me disappointed. I was kinda hoping for a proper action/adventure Avengers game.
Why don't they just salvage that scrapped L4D clone with the Skrulls?
Every modern Avengers game is either freemium shovelware, a MOBA, or both. The only actual GAMES we have to work with are LEGOs and PS4 Spider-Man.
Just make an actual Avengers game. It's seriously not difficult and it'll make a fuckton of money.
I seriously don't understand how Disney has a 12th level intellect when it comes to business and brand curation, yet they never understood how to make video games work for them.

Thanos—Titan Consumed, by Barry Liga, is an origin story for the MCU’s incarnation of Marvel’s biggest, baddest villain, set well before the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Here’s the official summary:
“Space. Reality. Mind. Power. Time. Soul.
Before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots…
Infinity Stones.
Only beings of immense power can hope to wield these stones, but for those who are worthy, the powers of a god await.
Thanos is one such being. But he wasn’t always.
Born on a doomed world and cast out by his people for his genius, physical deviancy, and pragmatic but monstrous ideas, Thanos is determined to save the galaxy from the same fate as his homeworld… no matter how many billions have to die.
Learn the origins of the most formidable foe the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, and Black Panther have ever faced—a foe whom even a group of remarkable people, pulled together to fight the battles nobody else could, will fail to stop….
Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.
Thanos is here
The banner at the top of the cover, reminds me of the banners they put on the Star Wars books that lead into new movies
