So. Is it good? Avengers 2 was a trainwreck, and I'm super afraid that it is going to fall back on the tropes that the newer films have tried to avoid
It's great.
Yes, it is good. Quite good.
Definitely better than Age of Ultron. Not perfect by any means, but an enjoyable film.
as far as you know...
I think I'd be more bummed if they tried it now.
Is twitter is having a melt down to Black Partner death?
Boy am I glad they got Silvestri back for this one

That would be news to me. If that's the case, it's not surprising, but still he has a multi-picture deal and Feige has already gone on record saying there's gonna be more movies. They're just need to learn to read between the lines.
So how will this impact Agents of SHIELD ? Will half the team be missing in the next episode ?
Does anyone know if they sell a box set of each of the MCU films on blurry disk? I’d buy that in a heartbeat
Managed to avoid spoilers by staying off the internet the whole week.
I honestly hope everyone who got hit by the snap stays dead and the future movies with them will just be set before the events of Infinity War somehow.
It's probably not what will happen though. Eh...
They did make box sets for phase 1 and phase 2, but they're ridiculously expensive at this point.
IF they were to release a collection of all the movies through Avengers 4; I'd probably buy it. And take out the loan necessary to do so.
This is the real test on whether the ABC and Netflix shows can actually be related to the larger universe. This season will end well before the next Avengers, so anyone that gets dusted tonight (if at all) won't be back. They're kind of in the middle of a major story-line right now, so I'm not sure if it's gonna happen. Maybe they'll shift the timeline a bit so the season finale ends with a bunch of people getting ashed.
What if Thanos ends up being what stops the Destroyer of Worlds?
also apparently Hugo Weaving declined to return as Red Skull and was recast. Thought he sounded slightly off. tho wtf Hugo, you'll play Megatron three fuckin times in those Michael Bay movies but won't pop in for a quick cameo in a 2nd Marvel movie?? Yea ok sure lol.. It was a damn good cameo too, really surprised me at least.
SHIELD and Avengers
Someone from the production team said the movie would effect SHIELD, and the season finale is a couple weeks from now, that could easily be the cliffhanger

Captain Rogers.... We missed you
*puts on ray-bans*
I spent the last 15 minutes of the movie with one hand over my hanging mouth, and the other on my chest, over my heart.
I figured it would happen, but I wasn't expecting it.
Almost cried when Peter started saying "Mr. Stark I don't wanna go, please" tbh
This movie was pretty damn violent for a mass-market PG-13 Disney flick, glad they went farther than usual. I was impressed with how well they balanced screen time for most of the characters. I wish that Vision and Black Panther got more screen time. Especially Vision, would've liked to see him use more of his awesome powers cause I knew he was going to die.
Okoye's face
hey at least they got more screentime than hawkeye and antman, who were announced to appear in this before instead becoming awkwardly absent from the theatrical cut lol. They better show up in the sequel cause there's just no excuse not to by that point, given what just happened.
Oh yeah lol. I totally forgot about Hawkeye. And they cut scenes where Bruce actually transformed into Hulk like the army running scene in the trailer.
Watched it last night. Was pleasantly surprised that all the spoilers I'd unintentionally seen turned out to be false.
Can't wait for the next one.
Infinity wars hurts. it left me damaged and it hurts not because that overextended death scene of spiderman. it hurts because somehow they build an entire universe over the last 15 years, only to see it vanish in a second. even if one is aware of the whole plot, i was looking foward to see bucky become cap america, but then he disapears like nothing. Marvel has balls of vibranium to pull off something like this. rather than mourning the individual deaths of each hero is the collective death of them almost at random what tackled me.
So have we talked about how Hawkeye is probably gonna come back as Ronin because the snap caused his whole family to disappear? Because that seems really plausible.
Something left me deeply unsatisfied after this movie, despite it meeting all my expectations. And I think it's the feeling that Marvel Studios has hit its peak here.
Because there's no way in hell that they willkeep characters such as Doctor Strange and Peter Parker actually dead, which means that they will soon dive into the stupid parallel universe or character revival bullshit that makes literally nothing matter in the comics.
I am pretty sure every character killed by the snap will return after Avengers 4, it would be insane to kill of characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther and Dr. Strange for good. I loved the scene though, and I hope the characters who died before the snap stays dead.
Question / maybe misunderstanding but with the whole half of people dying thing it is balance their planets population right, so why did Drax go when his planet had already been destroyed by Thanos and I though that Mantis was the last of her kind too, so why did she go?
