Yeah you could definitely be right. It just felt very similar to me (being put in a tranquil place, coming in connect with a dead person in another form, talking with them for a bit--waking almost like a dream. But i see your point wrt to the hues (but was Killmonger's hue purple too?)
Man, Marvel writers sure have a boner for killing off Thor's supporting cast.
valkyrie not mentioned because if you skip ragnarok "who the fuck is that girl from westworld" the point about thanos is that he's not actually apathetic to their suffering, he just doesn't see a better way to solve the issue he believes exists
your first point is a bit dumb tbh, this whole film is one big 'if you skip x film who the fuck is y'
You could argue that Valkyrie and half of the Asgardians may still be alive because Thanos has been shown to kill half an entire population and spare the rest. At the same time, Lady Sif disappeared with little explanation, too. Point is, I doubt she --and Korg for that matter --were omitted because "no one would know who they are" or whatever.
Going to watch Infinity War in English in about two hours, first time I get to actually watch a theater screening of a MCU film in its original language. It's been ten years exactly since the French release of the first Iron Man film. What a way to celebrate.
That is a problem for some characters though. If someone hasn’t seen Age of Ultron, they might not understand who Vision is
There are people going into this film as their first MCU film ever. I have a woman I work with who was very excited to see it last week. On Friday, she showed me she was wearing a Captain America shirt under her hoodie. I jokingly said, "Yeah, and can you believe [other coworker] wore a Superman shirt of all things today?" Her reply kind of dumbfounded me - "Oh, is he not in this movie?" All I could say was, "Uh, no, he's from a different comic".
I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all, Infinity War is the culmination of ten years of films, it'd be silly to go in expecting the film to explain every single character to you; that's how messes like Justice League happen.
I guess its a way if the actress pulls out of the movie lol What about Stan Lee
Seeing Strange's powers in Infinity War made me really excited for to see more of him. His first movie didn't impress me too much but all I want now is more mystical battles and adventures. Also Ebony Maw was fucking amazing, his voice fit him perfectly and I loved how casually OP he was. I wish we saw more of him and the rest of the Black Order, hopefully they show up in a future movie.
So, why was Hulk refusing to come out? Is he scared of Thanos or is he simply sulking?

Probably both. Hulk's never been thrashed like that before, and it might also be linked to what Bruce was saying in Ragnarok, that he's been Hulk for so long he might not ever come back as himself. Except in this case, he's been Hulk for so long, he can't trigger himself to turn. He's lost his anger.
I hope it will use the actual Ant-Man theme this time around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_5NwVy8L5M It's by far my favourite theme from any of the Marvel movies. It's got something about it that's not matched by any of the other themes.
It sounds almost like something Lalo Schiffrin might have done in the 60s or 70s, kind of reinforcing the idea that Ant-Man is more of a heist film at its core than a straight action flick

For a guy who started as an Associate Producer on Blade, you got to hand it to Kevin Feige. He's gonna go down as one of the most successful producers of all time.

It's no Ants trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyGwMqMCta4
Antman and Wasp release in August in the UK, thats some real BS
Came back from it. I feel like the part with Gamora getting sacrificed was odd and makes me think the story may have undergone a few last-minute changes. Up until this point Thanos was kind of a massive greening douchebag and I feel like all of the stuff related to his motivations, his link with Gamora being more softhearted than it was presented initially, and the complete change of his demeanor was a rewrite to make him more appealing after several other movies, MCU or otherwise, showed that Thanos as he was initially envisioned would not really work. It's only my impressions but it does feel like he was given much more nuance as a result of consumer feedback.
Spoilers
I'm still disappointed at how boringly-coloured Wasp's outfit is.
Saw the movie today and I am speechless, It was amazing I was not expecting to like Thanos but he ended up being one of the best villains I have seen in a very long time. The only problem I have withe the film is that Hulk was not in it as much as I would of liked. As a Spider man fan I had tears in my eyes at the end of the movie.
Hey, more often than not you guys get it earlier than the US so don't complain.

So I'm really dumb and went on the Wiki to look up the Infinity Stones, only to end up on the page for Infinity War and just straight up reading the last few paragraphs of the plot. And hooooly shit, I was not actually expecting the 'half of the universe destroyed' thing to come to the movie, that is some next level shit right there, can't wait to see the movie though and actually see that shit, despite knowing what's going to happen, I don't know how the characters react to shit properly, since it didn't delve into that kind of detail, but I'm guessing crying is going to be part of my reaction, no doubt.
Speaking as someone who's optimistic about Solo being a success, ahahaha no chance. Bet Episode IX could take the title back though.
