So does this mean they'll hype up Black Bolt for a season only for him to job in the final episode? Also wonder how they'll handle Lockjaw, if they'll scale him down or be 100% TV CGI.

Black Bolt is the king of the Inhumans, why would he be built up as a final episode thing? :v: Jobbing is inevitable, of course.
I wonder how many lines Black Bolt will have!
8 episodes confirmed
Few details are known about the project, including producers, cast and premise. The first two episodes of the series will debut in Imax theaters for two weeks in summer 2017 before moving to ABC in September where they will be followed by six subsequent new episodes.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/marvel-abc-set-inhumans-tv-series-947296 Shorter than the average Netflix season so hoping for that budget
Shorter than the average Netflix season so hoping for that budget
If it's anything like season 1 of Agent Carter with that episode count then I reckon it'll hold up pretty well visually.
This makes me moist
I wonder why they decided to bring it over to TV. Also it seems like they're trying to make it a film of sorts still with IMAX cameras and such. Maybe this is the beginning of blending marvel TV shows and the MCU?
There was probably some deal where they had to make an Inhumans movie, and putting the pilot in IMAX technically satisfies that or something.

Inhumans, and they'd get a load of flak if they didnt acknowledge it. Being on TV allows for them to do that shit better, and perhaps the pilot being a movie could allow some movie side acknowledgement as well.
If it's anything like season 1 of Agent Carter with that episode count then I reckon it'll hold up pretty well visually.
Yeah, IIRC Season 1 of Agent Carter used ILM. Most of the cityscapes were digital matte paintings that were blended really well.
I don't know much about the inhumans but as a premise I feel it fits very well into the tv show format
I don't know much about the inhumans but as a premise I feel it fits very well into the tv show format
Essentially a royal family of people with random superpowers on the moon being assholes to eachother and sometimes getting mauled by shit from space because they can sometimes be assholes and fire the Hulk into space, followed by a few hours of "Black Bolt fucking do something you lazy prick, you're the worst king ever jesus christ" and then a few more hours of him considering it before he just whispers a bit and blows half the fucking moon up with his singing voice, prompting the fifth revolt that week, since he just took out half the moon castle and a dozen randos, led by his dipshit brother who overthrows him and somehow is a worse leader than Black "i could literally say the word fuck and win every fight ever but choose not to because iunno" Bolt, resulting in Black Bolt getting power back until he inevitably blows the shit out of 15 inhuman kids by coughing loudly and starts the process over. Also i might be wrong but i think theres a bunch of incest involved because greek god analogies or something. Oh and Steve Harvey is in it.
I don't know much about the inhumans but as a premise I feel it fits very well into the tv show format
It's GoT with alien like superhumans (in space, several decades before ASOIAF), occasionally written by someone who knows how to write a good story instead of coasting on good drama and killing current fan favourites.
shit dam heres me thinking it was basically the x men
shit dam heres me thinking it was basically the x men
Oh dont worry, nobodies gonna blame you. They're gonna blame Marvel.
shit dam heres me thinking it was basically the x men
That's what Marvel Comics' misguided attempt on shilling them because of Fox having movie rights for X-Men led to. They also turned X-Men into actual terrorists.
That's what Marvel Comics' misguided attempt on shilling them because of Fox having movie rights for X-Men led to. It also turned X-Men into actual terrorists.
Eh, I see Marvel comparing Scott "I Was Right" Summers to Hitler, not so much a terrorist.
well id be way more interested in an interpretation of the shit you've described than an on earth x men rip off so I hope they go that route
Eh, I see Marvel comparing Scott "I Was Right" Summers to Hitler, not so much a terrorist.
Hitler was the guy fighting the ruler of a self proclaimed superior race of ubermensch responsible for gassing minorities, right? [editline]15th November 2016[/editline] [sp]For those who dont get it, the Inhumans are essentially going around following a cloud of terrigen mist they caused doing fuck all to stop it while it sterilizes and/or kills thousands of mutants and humans (who dont turn into inhumans anyway) in its wake, sometimes taking glee in it.[/sp]

There is nobody to blame but the hack writers responsible. If it was written by someone with half a brain Crystal and Storm would have dealt with it ages ago.
As I saw someone point out elsewhere, the X-Men have always been underdogs, standing in for the oppressed and various minorities, while the Inhumans are elitist nobility who value eugenics and slavery.
Wait shit the Inhumans are in space? I only ever remember their Fantastic Four debut where they lived in some super dome-city in the mountains, a dog beat up Ben Grimm and some ginger chick called Crystal was determined to screw the Human Torches brains out.

Atleast we've got Ms Marvel out of it.

Really, Marvel should just get whoever does the color grading on their Netflix shows to do it on everything, because they do a good job of hitting the true blacks and making the colors pop.

If Marvel fixes their music and this color grading issue then their movies would really become absolutely fantastic.

Except Spider-Man, make him quip even more.
