There have been other hints to expect MvC4 prior to today's article from Polygon.
EDIT: More sources, prior to the Polygon article;

The sheer fact of Polygon saying something is confirmed retroactively made all the previous rumours way more dubious than they already were.
They made up shit for clicks before, with the AC2 port debacle as latest example.

There is a quite large possibility that Polygon might be connected to the original sources of MvC4 leak and that should be enough for anyone who knows Polygon to be more doubting after this article.
There's some people talking on Twitter and other places new characters include Roll from Megaman, Protoman, Gwenpool, Howard the Duck, the Hunter from Monster Hunter, Groot, Edward Falcon and Asura.
I hope spidergwen is a skin for spiderman
if the game is truely coming out

Sources on that?
I hope it happens and that the Spidey game does well to justify it even more.
Sources on that?
I traced it down to I think this Twitter. I have no idea who this is.
Imagine the outrage if Gwenpool got in over Deadpool.
Someone explain Gwenpool to me.
As a result of the character becoming popular with fans, used as a basis for cosplay, Marvel produced two stories featuring Gwenpool as a character, a backup story in the series "Howard the Duck", and a one-shot "Gwenpool Holiday Special #1".[3] Despite the name "Gwenpool", the character in fact has no relation to either Deadpool or Gwen Stacy. A retcon in the Howard the Duck #1 backup revealed her name to actually be "Gwen Poole", not Gwen Stacy, or even an alternate version of Gwen Stacy.
Unlike other Marvel comic book characters, Gwenpool has no real superpowers, but has vast knowledge of the Marvel Universe from comic books in her universe, such as every secret identity of heroes and villains.

:what:
She sounds like a self-insert
She's a joke character really, a design from Marvels Gwen cover month that people liked so they just played the joke up.
Spidergwen is the only modern comic I've recently picked up, and I love it so far.
The Gwenpool comic is actually one of the best Marvel comics being pushed out right now I definitely recommend reading it

I haven't checked it out yet because I figured it'd be like most writers with deadpool, where they just cram in as many memes to be hip with the crowd. but I'll see if I can pick up the first issue just to see if I like it.

Deadpool hasn't been that way for almost half a decade now but okay.
And Gwenpool is great, the whole thing plays up the self insert feel and deconstructs it while simultaneously poking fun at all of the stupid and bizarre parts of comic book world.

well, last I really read comics was like 6-7 years ago, so that's kinda where most of my statement comes from.

I thought kind of the same too but with Gwen Stacey but after reading one issue I was hooked. It was nothing like I expected

Carnage was good for a couple issues then they ruined it with werewolves and shit
But issue 1 felt so much like Alien but with Carnage instead of a xeno

There was a time when this was true but we've passed it with all new all different. I haven't seen post 2011 Deadpool comics not doing this kind of shit

I wish MAX was allowed on MU so I could get them, im guessing the good Deadpool is max

Current Deadpool is great
well, since I'm heading out to the bookstore tomorrow I wanna ask, what's the highlights of more recent deadpool comics? the store still carry some issues from 2011 an onwards, I believe.
and, anything else noteworthy I should look for?

If you see Kelly as the author its good, if way is on the cover its bad

Deadpool's volumes 3 and 4. All 70 or so issues, from the start.
Deadpool/Spider-Man for sure, as the only really good Spider-Man book at the moment.
Vision's recent mini is wonderful, so is Old Man Logan's current on-going. Ms. Marvel as one of very few genuinely heroic people left in Marvel Comics is a good pick as well.

If you see Duggan as the writer it's Post-Way and good again.
alright, thanks. I've always liked the frenemy dynamic deadpool and spidey have, so I'll keep an eye out for that one.
I'd recommend Drax as well; it only ended a short while ago, just 11 issues. It's written by Cullen Bunn and CM Punk and manages to tell its story before it got cancelled.
It's essentially Space-Conan; Drax has nothing to do one day so he decides to go kill Thanos, only to get sidetracked when he has to save a bunch of kids from Fin Fang Foom.
It's got a lot of really neat stuff like Killer Thrill (who's basically Juri from Street Fighter mixed with MCU Nebula) and lots of outright goofy stuff like [sp]THE FIN FANG FARM[/sp].
New Agents of Shield came on tonight.
Really good episode [sp] Also Aida building a cyberbrain for herself now, uh oh. Mack became ghost rider for a bit. [/sp]
Doctor strange likely tie in: [sp] Aida, an android, read the darkhold and was able to build a machine that matches what the sling ring can do. She opened a portal as Coulson and Fitz were trapped in a different dimension. Even kind of had the same colors as a portal from DS [/sp]
Damn, forgot to watch tonight! I'll have to catch it tomorrow on iTunes.
Then I guess tomorrow, my night is set
:D what a great night, yes siiir..... Could be worse tbh..
Wait, SHIELD just came off of a two week hiatus and the mid-season finale is next week? What bullshit is this

Also, some new footage from Spider-Man: Homecoming has been shown at CCXP,[sp]Spidey's new suit has the web wings[/sp]
