God RDJ really sounds like he's phoning it in for this
So it's a lamer version of Star Tours that doesn't fit into the canon of the films and took like 5 years to build. Meanwhile WDW in Orlando is reportedly getting a Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster in EPCOT.
Before someone decides to valiantly inform everyone about it the Wrap rumour about Deadpool cameo in Logan is already confirmed to be fake and gay
i wonder why they even thought that would be a possibility. i guess someone misread ryan reynolds' wish for a proper deadpool/wolverine movie.
i wonder why they even thought that would be a possibility. i guess someone misread ryan reynolds' wish for a proper deadpool/wolverine movie.
The Wrap posted about it, the same guys responsible for that "Zendaya is MJ" 'rumour'. They pull shit out of their asses for clicks.

Your link is broken.
Still, neat to see them explore alt characters, and if successful enough it could lead to something with 2099.
Still, neat to see them explore alt characters, and if successful enough it could lead to something with 2099.
Yeah, just could've gone with a better one. From what ive read and what ive heard, Miles is pretty much chocolate peter with an instant win button, a knock-off Alex Ross costume, and a weird fat friend (who isnt unique to him now because of Ned Leeds being Ganke but not in Homecoming) Where the love for Miguel O'Hara at. Or Mayday Spider-Girl in the MC2 future where heroes have grown up kids and shit. [editline]30th December 2016[/editline] MC2 Spider-Girl would be a fun movie. Shit dude Disney should do CG "What If?" type AU movies for Marvel.
You've described most of the recent alt marvel characters tbh
You've described most of the recent alt marvel characters tbh
Yeah, i know. Trust me, i know.
You've described most of the recent alt marvel characters tbh
Robbie and Kamala are great though.
Robbie and Kamala are great though.
They're like the only two good replacements. From what i understand, X-23's run as Wolverine is flacid, Falcon would be better off as himself, Riri can go not exist, Jane is forever tainted by her ungodly awful introduction, Amadeus is alright but nothing special, Icegayman is the most infuriating bullshit of all time, and the Inhumans need to leave forever (i dont give a shit about Moongirl or Mosaic, im sorry, you did a shit job selling me on them and i dont need you to shill Moongirl in a god damn Ghost Rider book she doesnt even physically appear in just to tell me how smart she is). How many am i missing? They're so one note and forgettable due to existing for a single purpose and not really expanding much beyond that, i know Girl Blade never even came out. [editline]30th December 2016[/editline] Thats also not getting into shit like Carol "YAAS, QUEEN!" Danvers, eghhhuugh.

Viv is fine and Sam is in a book with Motherfucking Richard "Dick" Rider, the guy who had enough balls to tell Tony Stark (who commanded SHIELD at the moment) that the whole Civil War shitshow was fucking moronic and while heroes were fighting each other over some retarded piece of bullshit legislation he was busy saving the universe. Sheer vicinity to the BAMF that is Richard shields Sam from culling in my opinion.

Ghost Rider is a concept, like a Deathlok or Green Lantern, so having multiple at once is acceptable. Ms. Marvel was free because Carol was promoted to Captain Marvel (the circlejerking over this being a progressive move when the black woman Monica Rambeau was Captain Marvel like 3 decades ago is another story) so Kamala was acceptable. Viv was introduced as a member of the Visions artificial family, which gives him some interesting story and character development stuff. Sam is a product of grief and Dick Rider was long since dead at the time i im remembering right, so its something you can let slide.
Wait people hate Mile Morales? What alternate bizarro world did I step into?
The problem with the others is they're poorly thought out, poorly executed, and fucking boring, because they only exist or exist in those roles to meet a diversity quota. X-23 is cool. X-23 as Wolverine could be neat, and makes sense, but its done as part of a diversity quota. Ive heard its alright, but it just seems so meh. Also her costume sucks. Falcon was Caps longtime sidekick/supporting character but you could easily use his boost in popularity due to the movies to build him up as his own character, instead of making him cap as a diversity quota. In addition, he also was part of the "this is so fucking progressive" circlejerk despite Isaiah Bradley being Cap back in 2003 and having his grandson Elijah be his own title of Patriot in 05. Amadeus Cho from what ive heard is just the Merged Hulk from the 90s but also a smarmy asshole. Jane Foster as Thor could have been good, and she was in a what if before, but they decided to make it clear it was purely for a diversity quota by having hamfisted feminist speech in her comic, in addition to the idiotic reasoning for Thor being unworthy. Moongirl and Mosaic are forced as well as tainted by being part of the dollar-store-X-Men Inhumans push. Riri is the worst of them, literally a Mary Sue "she's 15 and graduated early and in MIT and she's smarter than Tony Stark in every way and she built a better suit and everyone loves her so much everyone wants her for all of their teams" OC. [editline]30th December 2016[/editline]
Wait people hate Mile Morales? What alternate bizarro world did I step into?
The reality in which he had potential when introduced but quickly fell flat when they did nothing of interest with him. He doesnt even make sense in the current canon due to his origin being incompatible with the universe he resides in and theres no possible tension in any fight he gets in because one of his powers is literally a win button. He's a discount Peter Parker without the classic supporting cast. He one-hit KO'd fucking BLACKHEART with a god damn finger poke. Blackheart. The dude who routinely pushes Ghost Riders shit in. with a finger poke.
Really embracing the MCU. Going to be a great Captain Marvel! Really excited with the cast of the new avengers. Larson, Holland, Boseman, Cumberbatch. I'm sitting here imagining the interactions between them, as well as the old avengers.
Miles Morales is a pretty good character, but he is the ultimate power fantasy slave of the epitome of everything that is wrong with the modern Marvel comics known as Brian Michael Bendis.
Just seeing Bendis' name makes me wanna hurl.
Deadpool is in the 'news' again http://ew.com/movies/2017/01/02/deadpool-most-pirated-movie-2016/
I just wanna see a new 2099 series, It's got some cool potential. I also loved the art in the comics
If anyone is curious, this is how the Cast Members look for the upcoming GoTG ride in Disney's California Adventure:
In the attraction’s story, cast members will be employees of the Tivan Group, run by Taneleer “The Collector” Tivan, welcoming guests to see his prized possessions, including the recently acquired Guardians of the Galaxy.
Agents of Shield came back on last night. Really good episode, nice twists at the end! [sp] anyone know who the senator's brother could possibly be comic character wise? [/sp]
Happy the ax part of the shotgun-ax finally got some use.
And just a horde of pop culture references. It always amuses me when a movie is referenced in universe that has actors in it who are also characters in the MCU.
