the choregraphy on the fights looks awesome
Finally, the H̶e̶r̶o̶e̶s̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶H̶i̶r̶e̶ Defenders are now complete!
Legion aired tonight. I had NO clue what was going on. But I am interested by what I saw.
I hope Deadpool, Legion and Logan are a sign of what Fox is going to do with the future of the X-brand as opposed to Apocalypse. They're all so varied in tone and content that I hope Fox has realised they don't need to play to a formula to keep mutants interesting.
They need to dump Jennifer Lawrence from X-Men. She was good on First Class, she was also all right on DOFP but she was terrible on Apocalypse. The movie itself sucked but you could see that, more than anyone, she had no interest in being there

They need to pay her to NOT come back next time, Apocalypse was garbage and she didn't help it.

This is going to be massive

Holy shit my dick is so hard right now. The Avengers and all the Guardians in one movie.
I thought they were not going to call it "Infinity War"?
I thought they were not going to call it "Infinity War"?
No no, originally the two movies would both be Infinity War, as Part 1 and 2. Now it'll be Infinity War and probably Infinity Gauntlet.
No no, originally the two movies would both be Infinity War, as Part 1 and 2. Now it'll be Infinity War and probably Infinity Gauntlet.
Ah okay. Though I think it would be more dramatic if those names were reversed.
first episode of Legion was pretty great. totally different take on the genre, and that [sp]X-men symbol appearing in the O of "LEGION" made me hype the heck out[/sp] kinda made me want to watch Dirk Gently again though
Just watched the last episode of AoS. [sp]so is the Watch Dogs guy essentially Nitro?[/sp]
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/guardians-galaxy-vol-2-scores-extremely-rare-100-test-screening-974277
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has tested higher than any Marvel Studios movie in the company’s nine-year history. The movie’s score: a perfect 100. Insiders confirm that extremely rare if not unprecedented score, saying the movie, which Disney is set to release May 5, bested the previous top Marvel scorers, Iron Man 3 and Avengers, both of which tested in the high 90s out of 100.
Pretty cool to hear that!
Iron Man 3 was pretty garbage, though.
Avengers 2 was pointless, Ultron ultimately amounted to a mild distraction while Thanos had to to prepare. Ultron was supposed to tear them apart, but that didn't happen until Civil war. They should have done a better job tying Winter Soldier, Avengers 2 and Civil War together.
So phase 2 wasn't as well planned out as phase 1 & 3 ?
I legitamitely forget about age of ultron
I think Civil War over shadowed it a bit.
TV spots begin
"I know, it almost hit me!" I prefer the other trailer where he yells after she's been hit and says "I tried to warn her."

Other than that it was the equivalent of a filler episode. A filler episode with fucking abysmal writing.
Hugh Jackman spoke about Xavier's role in Logan
Patrick Stewart’s Professor X is in his 90s - and is now suffering from some form of dementia. Star Hugh Jackman spoke with Total Film for the magazine’s new feature on the movie, and he revealed the sad news about Charles Xavier’s state of mind. “One thing we explore is what happens when the most powerful brain on the planet falls victim to dementia of some kind. We don’t get into specifics. Is it Alzheimer’s? Is it dementia? But we know that he’s now dangerous because when his brain doesn’t work, things happen. He has seizures and people around him fall into comas,” Jackman says. “Cars crash… What I loved about what [writer/director] Jim [Mangold] wrote is that you see and feel the frustration of caring for someone like that… it’s very real life, in a way.”
This movie will break my heart
Ultron was so fucking forgettable holy shit
TV spots begin
Suffragette City, all right
The problem with Ultron is they wrote him to do nothing but deliver jokes and exposition, which is what Marvel does with most of their villains, but it's especially noticeable in AoU because of how many other characters there are. And they know their villains are forgettable. They literally write them to be forgettable, because the movies are supposed to be about the heroes, and their journey, not the villains.
