The campbellian hero's canticle is not going to work for Thanos.
Thanos essentially needs to be the main character or this movie(s) will simply a very expensive spectacle piece and the beginning of the end of marvel's dominance at the box office, and not just in a way where he's empathetic but in a way where he is clearly way above anybody's singular pay grade immediately.

I can already tell that Awesome Mix Vol. 2 is going to be a great soundtrack
Is the Russian billionaire inhuman-hater in AoS a comic character or original to the show?
The problem with Ultron is they wrote him to do nothing but deliver jokes and exposition, which is what Marvel does with most of their villains, but it's especially noticeable in AoU because of how many other characters there are.
And they know their villains are forgettable. They literally write them to be forgettable, because the movies are supposed to be about the heroes, and their journey, not the villains.

Seeing this thumbnail reminded me that I really like Ultron's design, at least. I know it's not exactly accurate to the comics, but I think he looked sufficiently intimidating.
You can't talk about forgettable Marvel movies without mentioning Thor 2.

there was a thor 2?
You can't talk about forgettable Marvel movies without mentioning Thor 2.
the opening voice-over might be one of the worst in cinema history tbh
"Long before the birth of light, there was darkness. And from that darkness, came the Dark Elves." is some fanfiction-tier junk

All I remember is either the male twin from that Hellboy movie, or that woman who broke all her bones or something in GotG.
why
To be frank the only reason I saw it was because of the AOS tie-in, which was much more standalone than I thought it would be.
I can barely remember anything that happens in that film.

To be honest, I loved how goofy it was.
I like the first Thor, but it kinda sucked how 80% of it was fish-out-of-water comedy in bumfuck New Mexico.
The sequel at least had more Ditko/Kirby fantasy junk, I can give it that much.

Im still waiting for my Kirby Krackle.
They shit the bed with Ultron, come on someone gimme Kirby Krackle.
It wasn't as weak compared to Iron Man 2, but as a whole compared to the rest of the Marvel films, it was fine.
Iron Man 2 was little more than a lead in for the Avengers.

Heimdall fucking takes down a cloaked ship with a dagger!

Well I do remember Idris Elba hated doing Thor 2, so there's that.
I like how goofy thor can be. And how hot he is.
It's pretty incredible how Thor can be absolutely amazing in the Avengers movies but his own films are the worse of the entire franchise.

i tried watching thor 2 yesterday. it's so boring. i used to think it was a fun (if dumb) action movie but god, it's such a slog

Some of the scenes are really good, but the story as a whole sucks.
This LMD arc of Agents of Shield has been really really good. What's happening for next episode has me hyped!
I'm still waiting for Radcliffe to do something magic with that magic book of magic he got, instead of just this more advanced tech bullshit.

Maybe it is magic, but only in a way that he understands it as such?
Since the book is printed in whatever language the reader speaks, perhaps it also only shows what the person wants most rather than a general knowledge of the universe?

It's showing them whatever they want to see.
If he wanted to know magic, I'm sure it would show him how to do magic. But hes an engineer, he wants to do technology stuff, so that is what it is showing them.
At least, that is how I understand it.

I really liked this last episode. The [sp]Bond villain-esque submarine base,[/sp] the reveal of there being [sp]5 LMDs running around the Playground with Fitzsimmons as the only original members of the team left,[/sp] even the redshirt guarding Fitzsimmons who felt totally unappreciated was excellent.
I've really enjoyed Jason O Hara on the show. I'd honestly be fine with sacrificing May if it meant keeping Mace around for Season 5.

I honestly don't remember most of Marvel films. I think the ones that stood out were Avengers, Strange, GotG and Civil War
I dunno. I think captain america was pretty memorable
i still don't understand what was so special about strange aside from some mildly entertaining cgi moments
winter soldier, ant man and guardians remain the indisputable highlights of marvel cinematic universe
