[sp] Logan was a masterpiece, I liked seeing how these characters go out with a whimper instead of a bang, but in the end his own personal meaning is found in x-23[/sp] [sp] Also the line, "so this is what it feels like." is genius, because it could mean many different things, he could have been talking about death or having a family, and we will never know. [/sp]
I've been looking around on Google Earth and Logan Spoilers [sp]I don't think there are any Mountains like that on the ND/Canada border lol[/sp]
Yeah I was fairly confused about that as well.
Yeah I was fairly confused about that as well.
[sp]They should have made it Washington or Montana[/sp]
[sp]They should have made it Washington or Montana[/sp]
I agree. It's not as if it would have changed the plot in some major way, either.
spoielerzssa
you have to do [sp] * text goes here * [ / sp]
I just saw Logan. [sp]that ending hit me hard :([/sp]
Logan fucked my shit up because it ended a series I grew up with in a very, very brutal way. It's surprisingly reverent and mature, and watching characters I've seen so many times over the course of 17 years [sp]get so old, lose their minds and slowly come to the realization there is very little time left for them.[/sp]
I watched Logan and I didn't like it because [sp] there were no post credits scenes. Not even Deadpool 2 teaser. [/sp] Other than that, it was an amazing movie.
It was the end of X-Men for all intents and purposes. There was no need for one.
I have to say the one thing that bothers me the most about Logan is the fact they clearly had to cut any and all cigar smoking. [sp]He even steals a cigar and never smokes it.[/sp] The movie's allowed to have dismemberment and gruesome death and [sp]a child getting impaled in the chest with a fucking harpoon[/sp] but can't have a lit cigar in the movie about dying old men.

He smokes a cigar outright in his scene in X-Men: First Class.
[sp]Not even Deadpool 2 teaser. [/sp]
But there was one. You just have to YouTube it

Anything I'd need to see, story wise, before seeing Logan? I only haven't seen The Wolverine and X-Men: Apocalypse, yet. At first I was "that looks cool" before but you guys seem to have really liked it.

There's a reference to Apocalypse and first Wolverine movie in the last act.
There is also a character from Apocalypse in it, but you don't really need to see Apocalypse for him. Hell I didn't even know it was him until I got home and started reading. I forgot he was even in Apocalypse.

[sp]doesn't help that I mostly know Caliban from the X-Force comics and he looked way different there[/sp]
[sp] he was an ex-horseman then, so he looked quite more buff and ubermensch, being drawn by liefield certainly didn't help [/sp]
While it's definitely late as shit, but I had either forgotten or didn't hear that Jackman took a paycut so the exes didn't lose their shirts over Logan if it didn't do well [t]http://i.imgur.com/aLOvRYL.png[/t] It would be nice if people took more risks and had big payoffs, but I doubt we will see that anytime in the future. [editline]•[/editline] Mangold also wants to recut the film into a black and white version

Goddamn, I did not recognize Mount. That is a long way from Hell on Wheels.

Anson is perfectly fine and Diesel said he would only be doing a movie so...
Apparently Finn jones has left Twitter over harassment for being cast as iron fist. They're all talking about it on /r/marvelstudios
Not digging that CW-tier leather costume which doesn't even have a hint of silver/white, I hope it's just casual wear. Anson himself is looking pretty good though. In other costume related news apparently Iron Fist won't get one in his own show. Boo. http://www.gamesradar.com/netflixs-iron-fist-wont-be-wearing-his-costume-or-even-a-mask-anytime-soon/ Man, Iron Fist was the one show I was looking forward to most and at the start of the news and trailers but a bunch of the recent news is making it seem like the safest and most boring adaptation they could've done and it's starting to look a little too Arrow: Marvel Edition for my liking, though that might be to do with me starting to have read earlier IF as opposed to just Immortal and Living Weapon. Marvel definitely took the wrong lesson from Daredevil if that's what we get. Hopefully the actual show mixes it up more than I expect.
Okay I was wrong Finn jones has *deleted* his Twitter. He was getting hit with some shit about "iron fist should've been Asian" People are rumoring that his bitter co-star Lewis tan who didn't get the role started this with his complaints but I'm not sure
Apparently Finn jones has left Twitter over harassment for being cast as iron fist. They're all talking about it on /r/marvelstudios
They're mad because a white person is portraying martial arts and being good at it.. Thinking it should be an Asian character. But then they'd complain for it being stereotypically cast.. You can't please everyone, and this whole "complaining because we can" thing is annoying. Iron Fist wasn't even asian in the original comics was he?
I fucking knew Iron Fist's ethnicity would cause a controversy among imbeciles. Some people should just be banned from the Internet for their own safety.
I like how you knew what the reason was before I even said it What a sad day to be in [editline]6th March 2017[/editline] No. Iron fist (Danny rand) has been white since first appearance im pretty sure
