If you read further down the Asyi person calls this "whitesplaining" https://twitter.com/AsyiqinHaron/status/838591524141064193

Im going through this person's twitter and they seem pretty racist. "REVERSE RACISM ISN'T REAL" Then talks about how white people should not accept roles that have influences of other cultures... geez people these days
The worst part is that they're so fucking stupid they're talking shit at Finn instead of someone who makes these decisions like Feige or something
I just saw Black Bolts outfit and what the fuck. They X-Men'd the shit out of him but they're keeping Lockjaw the same anyway? Why though.
How would one xmen a giant dog
How would one xmen a giant dog
The same way thay X-Men'd a hulk sized metal russian into just a kind of above average metal russian.
I'm unfamiliar with the royal family, but did black bolt always have his comic book costume?
I'm unfamiliar with the royal family, but did black bolt always have his comic book costume?
My knowledge on them is a lot vaguer than i'd prefer it to be but yeah, they were already established when they first appeared. They're not like street people turned inhumans, they were born into that society. Even now, they all wear versions of their outfits despite the tacticooling going on in the comics, except Karnak, but Karnak has kind of a Wolverine thing going for him in that regard so its kind of alright.
Black Bolt virtually always has his plain costume or variation of it, ala Marvel's shorthand for "is an alien/outsider/way over there".
If that is just casual wear they better go full Earth-X when he gets into his royal clothings/armor
Probably because the Deadpool teaser was at the start.
Deadpool teaser wasn't there. Dunno why, but it wasn't there (I thought it was a separate thing and would be the last teaser/trailer to show up before the movie itself, but it wasn't there). EDIT: I still vouch for Deadpool joining the X-Men in his second movie (I never read the comics)
At that point, I'd rather they make an X-Force movie and keep the R-rating
I'm Asian and this person is a fucking idiot.
NO. You NEED Iron Fist to be TURNED ASIAN NOW. Who cares about that Shang Chi asshole we need NAME BRANDS.
Which is weird cause there are plenty Asian representation in the comic book films. Of course there aren't many Asian comic characters because representation for them came in late, but hey. Give me a Jubilee TV show god damn FOX.
Like, the asian characters Marvel and DC do have are pretty cool though. See thats my problem with race swapping, if you're doing it for diversity but in doing so you're burying an existing character of that ethnicity you could use instead. Like, dont turn Hank Pym or Scott Lang black so you have a black Ant-Man, use Bill Foster as Goliath. Dont turn Tony Stark black, Iron Fist asian, Carol Danvers black, or make Bruce Banner into a woman, use War Machine, Shang-Chi, Monica Rambeau, or Jennifer Walters if you want someone along those lines but with a diversity spin. You dont have name-brand recognition but most of Marvels IP's are barely on the radar for most anyway.
I mainly approve of making Colleen Wing from white to Asian, but that's because I found the TFA actress to be attractive.
She was always asian.
Just hoping to have something clarified, which timeline does Logan follow? The X-Men films are so disjointed to me I legitimately have no idea. Is it just a standalone film?
I saw a reference to pretty much all the movies except for the Origins one. Not sure if just a shout-out to them, or legitimately tying into all those films.
Just hoping to have something clarified, which timeline does Logan follow? The X-Men films are so disjointed to me I legitimately have no idea. Is it just a standalone film?
Days of Future Past retconned X3 and X-Men Origins, while altering the events of The Wolverine (he still went to Japan, but things didn't turn out the same). As a result, Wade Wilson goes on to become Deadpool instead of Weapon XI and everyone who died in The Last Stand lives on to [sp]die when Xavier has a senior moment prior to the events of Logan.[/sp] Logan is main continuity, far as I can tell; until they make a [sp]New Mutants style thing with X-23 and pals, it's the canon ending for the X-Men film franchise.[/sp] I'd say that that could get tricky in a decade when we actually get close to 2029, but I'd also say that seems like enough time for Fox to pack it in and sell the rights to Marvel. [sp]With no Jackman/Wolverine, I can't really see the X-movies making as much money as they once did, unless of course they either turn Deadpool into the new face of the franchise or get a massive hit with Supernova or some other upcoming project. Frankly I'm not opposed, this felt like a fitting end.[/sp] [editline]7th March 2017[/editline]
I saw a reference to pretty much all the movies except for the Origins one. I think the only one that wasn't referenced was X3, since it was retconned out of existence.[/sp]

Wolverine remembers things in a flash back that he shouldn't because he wasn't there for those events. Well his body was, but not his current mind. Maybe Jean or Charles unlocked the memories or something.

Wonder if that's why they always hid the figure, they've been behind the scenes trying to get Patrick Stewart to be on the show?
Very Probably. [sp] The dynamic in the comic was the Charles was 'too busy' to help Legion, and then it turned out that Legion was deliberately screwing with Charles for attention because one of his personalities 'never had a father' (because was a fucking construct, duh), and then there was the whole demon thing besides that; any one of those things could be a significant arc [/sp]
Wonder if that's why they always hid the figure, they've been behind the scenes trying to get Patrick Stewart to be on the show?
Presumably the shadow-covered dad in the show is a step-dad/his sister's real dad, rather than Charles.
Reviews are out for Iron Fist. Supposedly it's genuinely bad and easily the worst of the Marvel Netflix shows. GG.
Reviews are out for Iron Fist. Supposedly it's genuinely bad and easily the worst of the Marvel Netflix shows. GG.
I'm actually excited. You could make the case for not enjoying just about any of the Netflix shows, but (like the MCU), they're usually just fine. If this one is BAD, I'd really like to see what makes it so rough compared to everything else.
Reviews are out for Iron Fist. Supposedly it's genuinely bad and easily the worst of the Marvel Netflix shows. GG.
At this point, there's no reason for me to care about reviews for the MCU. If it's part of the MCU, I know I'm going to watch at least some of it.
I have yet to sit through jones/cage and DD

GG.
Ive seen like 3 reviews that start off bitching about him not being asian so im just going to decide for myself how good or bad it is. I also read one that says it has worse fight scenes than Luke Cage which i find impossible.
